I have a complete set of Revere Ware copper bottom even the large Dutch oven one plus two skillets. Have had them for over 25 years. Love them. Use every day. Still look great no one would ever guess their age.
Julie, I have been cooking with my revere ware pots and skillets for 44 years and LOVE them. I have over the past years bought many others for a change and always go back to my revere!!
Liked the idea of the indoor/outdoor carpet instead of painting. The basket set it off also with the plant and who even knows it has imperfections. Liked that little corner shelf too that you saw.
Revere Ware is wonderful! I have a vintage coffee stove top percolator from the late 40’s. My in-laws received it as a wedding present. She gave it to me years ago to put in our garage sale. The whole pot is stainless steel ( no aluminum ). I cleaned it up, to where it could pass as new. I decided to keep it. It will be passed on to the next generation after we are gone.
When I was growing up my mother had a couple of pieces of Revere ware - a double boiler and a smaller saucepan. In my late teens I started buying housewares for when I moved out and I bought a set of it - medium & small frypans, a large and small pot and a Dutch oven. The lids from the bigger pots fit the frying pans. I also bought a Revere ware kettle to use on the stove. I have since inherited my mothers pieces and thrifted a few more larger pots & a bigger kettle too. What I like about it is that the bigger pots are not heavy to lift and carry when full, like when I’ve boiled potatoes and have to drain them. Quite a number of years ago I was thinking I might buy some new cookware but all the pots were so heavy I just could not imagine using them. I just continued with my Revere ware and have never regretted it.
Julie, You are so fortunate to have Goodwill's that are cheap. I live in N.C. and are goodwill's a lot of times are higher than a regular stores. I would love to live in Texas. I love your taste and how God has truly given you a gift for decorating.
I think those golf placemats are decorator pillow cases for lumbar pillow inserts. LOL and that dog holds a bottle....whatever bottle you want him to hold!
Hey! I have used Revere Ware (copper bottom only) since the mid 1970's and absolutely love it. Cooks great and no sticking. Cleans easily. I still buy pieces if I see them for a good price in thrift stores. Just discovered your videos and am enjoying them.
People probably are getting rid of the Revere ware because the run hot!! That's why I got rid of my pans. I also have stainless steel and love them to pieces very happy I made the change. Love your show and can't wait for the next.😊
Yes, I love those kinds of pans. My mother even had a set too. They cook well because of the copper bottoms. You do have to keep the copper cleaned for them to look their best. I use Barkeeper's Friend to keep the copper looking pretty. Just dry after cleaning so they don't get spots. I love mine. Your front porch looks so pretty. I never thought of using a basket that size for a plant holder. You always surprise me with the different ways you use things. The mug is so cute and useful. I like the mittle cow pitcher next to your coffee maker. The hint of blue is pretty and country. I liked all the things you got. Love your channel. From Texas. 😊
Revereware pans are the best ! My Mother had them throughout her married life. Daddy died in '84, Mama in '93. She brought them for me 47 years ago...still working. Durable and heat reflective. They don't make them anymore. MARCIE from Oregon
I love when you thrift your items and then show how you decorated. I love how you decorate. And I love all the chunky dinnerware as well. Thanks for taking us along Julie and giving us so many great hime.decor ideas ❤
Hi Julie! I love your videos. They are so fun & inspiring. You do a great job! You are so cheerful and sweet!! I love what you did to your front porch. I have an idea though. Instead of having 2 rugs, you could put your cat coir rug on top of the buffalo checked rug for a layered look. Then people could wipe their feet on it and not get the cloth rug dirty. It would simplify the space for you. Unless they are the same size, then it wouldn't look good.😊
Everything you have mentioned, same here. Married in ‘77 with the whole set of these pans. Plus I now have my mothers after she passed away. Ketsup on the bottom to shine and alittle SOS pads to clean them up! 😀
Hi Julie...I've had my Revere Ware pots for over 30 years and I love them! I use them on the daily and have never had a problem with them!! We wouldn't steer ya wrong...Go get em!! Lol
Thanks Julie, for taking me along thrifting. Enjoy it so much. You make everyone fill that they are right there with you and how special that is. I love everything that you got, and your front porch looks so homey and inviting. Thanks again, your a special lady, I'm just truly blessed to know you. Enjoy your weekend and God bless you and the family.
I have had revere ware, but like I bought at a flea market 30 years ago and I’m still using it to clean the copper with steel wool and stainless steel was easy to clean looks just as good done if the ones you pick up need a good cleaning I use one pot for making mashed potatoes every dinner they love them
We got a set of Revere Ware as a Wedding gift in 1980. One of the pans was the same as the one you showed. We are still using them, as our go to sauce pans for small tasks like making a cheese sauce or hard boiling a few eggs. They lasted us for 43 years. Would recommend.
Yes, I have had Revereware for 38 1/2 years(as long as we have been married), and they have held up and cooked wonderfully!! Oh, and Julie, I just have to say how much I have enjoyed your channel. I have been binge watching while doing chores, cooking, etc. :)
@lynnemhall It must have been a thing back then for giving Revereware for wedding gifts,..ours was as well, but I can't remember what else there was to use. Haha. It must have been the "new thing" back then! 😀
I have two of my Grandmother's Revere Ware pots with the lids and I love them! They are lightweight, cook evenly, and easy to clean. If you find a set with lids I highly recommend you get them.😊
A store donated the overstocked yellow pitchers to all the Goodwills in your area. I have the Revere ware pots and pans with copper bottoms and lids. They are extremely well made and cook and clean up great with a brillo pad for me. I thrifted them about 15 years ago and use them daily. They are just like they were when I first got them.
Oh my gosh i love delightfully southern as well! I look forward to her videos. It looks like you're getting into some pinheiro bordello pieces in the cups and saucers
Regard Ware is very good! My sisters mother in law bought her a set at her bridal shower and she still cooks in them 40+ years later! She has added a few pieces like a nonstick skillet and she got moms cast iron but doesn't usually cook with it and except cornbread!
Heyyy Julie, I used to work at Savers. A buyer once taught me that if you look inside a Coach purse and see the large ID tag with it’s name and a long ID#, Google the # and an exact picture of that purse will come up. The hardware should also be stamped with it’s name. You have to know what you’re looking for in the zipper. I hope this helps 🌸
I think revereware is the best you can have. It regulates heat so well.people just don't take care of the bottoms. Bar keepers friend scoured them well. The dog holds a wine bottle.
My mother - who would be in her 80’s if she were still alive- cooked with 2 types of pans - cast iron and copper bottom revere ware. I use copper bottom - the vintage ones- you need to check for the right markings on the bottom of the pan - revere ware and vintage magnalite pans They cook well , do get hot, and will stand the test of time
Great question Julie. So the earlier pans , circa 1946 , that has a circle and either “process patent” or pat. Pend”. The pans I use are after 1968 and they have a circle with a profile of revere with the words “copper clad” above his head on either side of his head is a 18 and on the other 01. Below his profile it should say “revere ware”. Below “revere ware” will be more words that say patent and a number below that it will say “ made under process patent an another number Also, check the handle it should have a rivets or screws close to the pan body and another screw at the end with the ring Hope this helps. Looking forward to next weeks thrifting expedition. Nd styling
Good morning, Julie. I hope you are having a lovely Saturday with your family. I shared this video with my friends and everyone on Twitter. Your back porch looks great now that you hide the green ground with the rug and the basket looks perfect were you put it on top of the table. I love how big it is. Everything looks lovely. We are going to the movies at 2p.m to see Spiderman. Our daughter is wearing her new Miles Spiderman shirt and her daddy is wearing his Stan Lee shirt with some of his superheroes including Spiderman. I'm taking a photo at the lobby with both of them wearing their shirts. Tomorrow Sunday my husband and I are having a day to celebrate the Puerto Rican Day Parade in PA. Famous singers are coming and I can't wait. Take care.🥰 💃🕺
Julie, I know you have gotten so many responses on the revere ware, so I hope you won't mind another one. I have my Mother's set, and it is now 70 years old. I have stainless pots and pans, but, I always go back I to the revere ware. I so enjoy your videos!!!!
That weird bar stool looks like an old shoe shining chair…just a thought. And I loved the 3 basket wrapped bowl set you pulled from the new cart. I was surprised you didn’t take them.
My mom had revere wear from the 50s and I loved them so much that I got some in the80s when I got married. If you see any in good shape that is a find. Copper bottom, copper heats very evenly. all I have left are two frying a pans and still love them
I love my Revereware. It's my main cookware. I have other pieces of other brands that I also use, but I mainly use the Revereware. You should have put a pretty patterned outdoor rug on the front porch.
Hi Julie! I love the way you styled that soup tureen on your table. I noticed you had a salt and pepper shaker caddy sitting next to it. I could use something like that to keep next to my stove. As far as cookware goes I'm stuck on the cast iron skillet my Mama gave me. To me it's tried and true ❤. Btw I love how you reworked the back door, very cozy. You have a great day and we'll be seeing you soon!❤
Hi Julie! I liked the basket in the intro, the lamp at 3:08, and the cake plate. I liked your porch makeover; have you thought about giving it a good go-over with a power washer sometime to freshen it up? Have a good week and pet Piper and Mimi for me!
I have my mom's Revere ware and I have thrifted several over the years but most are well over 35-40 years old or older and cooks/wears very well. Give it a try!😊
I collect Soup Tureen's too...Love them...yours is pretty with the blue. It's never to early for Christmas! I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping for this year. and the gifts that I've bought, are wrapped. So many children...I Christmas shop all year. So much fun! Thanks for the haul Julie.
Love my pyrex. Clear bottom so I can see what is inside. Microwavable, dishwasher safe. Lids can be bought if you know the size on Amaxon. Easy to vlean, great for storage.
Buy Revere Ware when you find it at a good price; especially a couple of 12" skillets. I've had my copper bottom cookware for close to 40 years and love it. I use Bar Keeper's Friend to keep the bottom clean. I rarely find a piece where I live in Alabama but I buy them when I find them as my sons need them.
I had a set of reverware that I got for my wedding in 95 and I didn’t like mine. (Maybe because I wasn’t experienced at cooking). Mine were too hard to clean once I burnt something in them. About 10 years ago I got a set of cuisenart. They are still like new. (Probably because I don’t burn food as much).
Your porch makeover looks great. I got so tired of replacing nonstick pans and remembered I had some revere ware that I had gotten at a yard sale but had forgotten about because we moved. I love it and because of the copper bottoms I like to hang mine.it's a little work to keep the bottoms shiny but I don't mind. 👍💕
I saw a video on youtube on making regular pans non stick..need to find it. I has to do with a little oil, heated and the way a bead of water bounces around in it and doesn't break up. Hope this helps.👍💕
Hey Julie!! My sister. I never miss one of your videos. 😘. You’re right, I’m obsessed and I can’t help it…🤣. Love you sweet sister! ❤️🐓
Hey girl! Thank you 😊 love you!
That's 👍
I inherited my pots from my Godmother, over 20 years ago. I Love them!
I love Donna too! I have roosters also, not as many as Donna, but I have a small house 😊
Puppy holds like a wine bottle. I have a Revere wear pan and live it. Would be lost without it.
Thank you 😊
My Mom has had the same set of Revere wear since I was a kid (I’m 61 now). They still look amazing.
I have a complete set of Revere Ware copper bottom even the large Dutch oven one plus two skillets. Have had them for over 25 years. Love them. Use every day. Still look great no one would ever guess their age.
Thank you 😊
I have a set of revere ware that was my mothers. She got it in 1952 when she got married. Are use them every day and love them.
That’s so awesome! Thank you 😊

I have been cooking with Revere Ware for 43 years. I love it.

You group your things so beautifully together! Have a great Goodwill day!
Those old metal bed frames make great trellis for climbing flowers in the same way they were displayed.
Oh good idea!

Almost every thing was 2.29 today. Christmas is my favorite holiday.
I think those golf placemats are decorator pillow cases for lumbar pillow inserts. LOL and that dog holds a bottle....whatever bottle you want him to hold!
The funny puppy holds a wine bottle to look as if it’s drinking from it. The porch makeover looks great!! 👍😉
Thank you 😊

Oh absolutely!! Wonderful idea! Thank you 😊

I loved your new porch makeover! And your table decorations!

We were given a set of Revere pots and pans for our wedding in 1979. Still using them. That's what mom had when I was growing up. Great pans.
I, too, was given a set for my wedding. I'm still using mine, but I got married quite a few years after you. :)
Everything you have mentioned, same here. Married in ‘77 with the whole set of these pans. Plus I now have my mothers after she passed away. Ketsup on the bottom to shine and alittle SOS pads to clean them up! 😀

I love Revere ware. I have some of my mom's. It lasts forever. Cooks well.
Thank you so much 😊 it does.
I could barely hear you today
Love the porch all made over
HAPPY FRIDAY Julie, family, and fur babies. STTB
Hey happy Friday!! Thank you 😊
I think revereware is the best you can have. It regulates heat so well.people just don't take care of the bottoms. Bar keepers friend scoured them well.
The dog holds a wine bottle.
Thank you so much 😊
My mother in law had a set of copper bottom Revereware pans and they were really good to cook with. Even distribution of heat and easy to clean.
I have a complete set of revere ware cookware, and I love it. I’ve had it for a very long time.

I bought revere ware at my thrift shop a year ago. I love them !
My mother - who would be in her 80’s if she were still alive- cooked with 2 types of pans - cast iron and copper bottom revere ware. I use copper bottom - the vintage ones- you need to check for the right markings on the bottom of the pan - revere ware and vintage magnalite pans They cook well , do get hot, and will stand the test of time
Thank you so much 😊 Oh good to know. What mark?
Great question Julie.
So the earlier pans , circa 1946 , that has a circle and either “process patent” or pat. Pend”. Hope this helps.

P.p.s. thought of one more thing..those cinnamon brooms can hold essentials oils well so you can re scent them.
Oh awesome! Thank you 😊
That weird bar stool looks like an old shoe shining chair…just a thought.
And I loved the 3 basket wrapped bowl set you pulled from the new cart. I was surprised you didn’t take them.
Hi Julie I use the small coffee cups for ice cream when the kids ( I) watch tv
Yes, that’s a good idea too.
My mom had revere wear from the 50s and I loved them so much that I got some in the80s when I got married. If you see any in good shape that is a find. Copper bottom, copper heats very evenly. all I have left are two frying a pans and still love them

About 10 years ago I got a set of cuisenart. They are still like new. (Probably because I don’t burn food as much).
Julie, you are amazing!
You’re too sweet. Thank you 😊
Your porch makeover looks great.
I got so tired of replacing nonstick pans and remembered I had some revere ware that I had gotten at a yard sale but had forgotten about because we moved. I love it and because of the copper bottoms I like to hang mine.it's a little work to keep the bottoms shiny but I don't mind. 👍💕
Oh awesome! Thank you 😊
I saw a video on youtube on making regular pans non stick..need to find it. I has to do with a little oil, heated and the way a bead of water bounces around in it and doesn't break up. Hope this helps.👍💕
