I love this stitch pattern!!! I'm crocheting a blanket for my brother right now for his Christmas gift this year. I'm using brown gradient Scarfie Bulky-5 yarn. It's looking fantastic!!! I will probably put 3 strips of another stitch to break up the pattern a bit. Looking at stitches now to pick one that will look good with this stitch. THANK YOU for sharing this stitch pattern!! It is perfect for a man's crochet blanket.

Love this pattern!
I do, however, use an alternative to the chain 3 on the end to avoid the dreaded "gap".
This pattern is a much better alternative to the "alpine " stitch because the fp treble prevents the curling that can occur with fp doubles. Thanks for this great tutorial.

Now this is what I remember as the 'ripple stitch' -- now it is apparently called the 'alpine stitch'. A lovely stitch and and a great video!
