    Finally someone actually explained everything I needed from the hook and bait to how to actually catch the thing. I'm a beginner and I couldn't understand why you don't use a bobber cause it just felt like my bait is just sinking into lake muck at the bottom, I didn't know you were supposed to shake it like that to mimic a worm in the bottom of the lake.

    • @RealisticFishing
      @RealisticFishing  7 лет назад

      A senko is not limp like a noodle, its more like a stick. It is also called a soft stick-bait. I am casting just past the weeds into the open water. The bringing it back through and on top the weeds.

    I know this is an old video but could you do a video on how to catch smaller bass in heavily pressured ponds, I live in an area with only a handful of bass spots most of them are incredibly weedy small ponds that are heavily fished and dont hold many large bass, the other spot I have is a larger pond but super shallow 1-3' in most places with the deepest around 10 15'and hold pretty much only bass and a few sunfish but most of them are only around a 1lb and as the water is crystal clear and shallow it can make it really difficult to catch anything

    I have to know, do you ONLY catch bass at these places or do you spare us the pain of looking at 100 brim? 😂

    I use weedless eagle claw size 5. Way better hook up and never ever bends

    Thank you very much for sharing. Liked and subscribed. I fished a lot with my dad and I am now able to show my son more and more with fishing. I’m getting into bass fishing because I like the experience of changing rigs and techniques and not just have worms with a bobber in a small pond. Any tips would be great. Thanks for sharing.

    Could you by any chance make a video on how to use plastic frogs for beginners, I just moved on from bluegill, and I'd like to catch something bigger😂

    Hopefully going to a private pond in my hometown this weekend. I have been anxious to try a wacky rigged senko....never fished it before.

    This method actually does work! I didn’t believe my 11 year old son when he was using this method, until he started catching more than me. As soon as I switched I started catching bass as well. He showed me who knew better!

      how exactly do you mean "this method"? What specifically? What were you doing before?
      I am curious since "this method" is kind of default way to fish

      tom jens Wacky Rig is what I meant by “this method”. Truthfully, I can’t remember what I was using at the time. As it was about a year ago, I guess wacky rig is how the fish wanted the bait presented at that moment.

    Great video, I normally fly fish but have a nice bass lake just down the road, and want to try my hand at it, will be bass fishing tomorrow! I’ll be using the wacky rig you used.

    Question , do you glue any of your 2 piece rods together? I recently purchased Lews American hero spinning combo and it's a 2 piece rod,

    Its good that you show people that you can catch fish with cheap stuff. Ive hooked and caught up to 50 lbs fish on a cheap Walmart rod with a cheap 40-50 lbs test line in salt water
