  • Super Typhoon Yagi made landfall in China’s Hainan province, causing massive disruptions. With wind speeds reaching 160 mph, over 400,000 people were evacuated, and power outages affected more than 800,000 households. The typhoon also caused severe flooding and landslides, blocking roads and uprooting trees. It is now heading toward Vietnam, where additional evacuations are underway.
