As a Chinese-English Interpreter myself, I stood up applauding the interpreter at the end of the video. She did a fantastic job! Such a lengthy statement would have had the interpreted rendition compromised without clarifying/verifying/ repetition. She deserves what she earns!

@Mwaniki Mwaniki For me, it sounds more badass and true to their roots, proud of their heritage regardless of what others say and caring only for the opinion of those that matters, which is, and should always be, a leader's own people and own nation. So when a leader speaks in his mother tongue, it goes to show that he has solidarity about him, and that for me, is far more important than morality or idealism or any of that abstract stuff. Besides, some languages sounds way better and awesome than English. Examples are Mandarin, Japanese, German, Russian, Spanish, Polish, Greek, and Turkish.
