Big Tech Platforms should not be allowed if they cannot be transparent and on the same page as the Government when it comes to protecting children online.
Until they can provide proper safety constraints and be able to prove that they are equipped to protect children online, the legal age of using social media platforms should be raised to 18 globally and age verification should be introduced.
If a parent wouldn’t allow their child to marry, operate a vehicle, drink, gamble etc until they are over 18 years old, it should be the same for social media platforms as well.
