- Busy June day on the flower farm. Join flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery at Common Farm Flowers between fashionable Bruton and up-and-coming Wincanton as she fulfils orders for 20 different buckets of flowers for three different events and then cuts for her own floristry commissions, a series of posies for a dinner party, and a huge gift bouquet.
Stay tuned to the end when the posies are made and the big bouquet is created.
Enjoy!

Gorgeous! Im bingewatching all your videos whilst it rains 🎉
hurrah! x
Hi Georgie, love the colour pallet on your enormous bouquet, what my grandma would call a moonlight selection!
excellent description x
Fabulous, absolutely fabulous! Congratulations!
Thank you so much! x
Gorgeous arrangements!
Thank you very much! x
I love it when you make the 'maths' easy. So smart 25 per this and 30 per that! xo
I'm not good at maths so have to keep it simple x
Agreed!!
I love your flowers and your bouquets. Unfortunately I had problems with the sound. I subscribed in the hope that the sound problem can be fixed. Thank you for posting, Such a delight!!!!!
Thanks for subbing! Sometimes I forget to put my microphone on - hopefully I remember to say again what I say with my back turned so that you can hear it all. I hope you enjoy the channel though it is quite low tech x
@@theflowerfarmer I have been binge watching your videos. So very, very enjoyable. I am so glad I found this channel.
Words fail me ,what can l say,you have done it again AND made me laugh
excellent x
Life-changing I tell you. Life changing.
thank you x
Just the most beautiful flowers. So glad I found your channel! xx
thank you x
You are so talented! 😊
Thank you! 😊 x
You are such an inspiration! Your work is absolutely gorgeous!
thank you x
Your getting a summer tan!🌞
occupational hazard xxx
I think of all those flowers in your bouquets, my fave is the globe thistle - I love the mauve colour and the lollipop shape. Here in Oz, we have a similar native flower called the Pincushion Hakea - except it's red instead of mauve - and it's also like spiky floral fireworks.
I love a floral firework too x
That's a great idea to make a large bouquet, so beautiful.🎉
glad you like it x
Great tips, lovely bouquets
Thanks so much 😊 x
Georgie I love your bouquets. How many different flowers are in your garden? You have such a beautiful assortment.
we do grow a great many varieties x
Stunning flowers and gorgeous bouquets.
thank you x
The flowers are always stunning! God bless 😊
thank you x
Ooh, that big bouquet looks like a Firework! ❤❤❤
yes! x
I love your old gates
me too x
Love how you explain the numbers too...makes perfrct sense! What is that white ball shaped flower...looks like an allium?
it's a wild leek x
Stunning as always! The way you mix and match colours, or shades even, is incredible.
I like painting with flowers x
You must have a huge garden
it's a seven acre plot, about half cultivated x
Oh my I want roses like that!!! I know you are in zone 8 do you know anything about what or if I could grow any roses for cutting in zone 4?
I'm no expert on your zone but would have thought roses would survive your winter in a sheltered spot and give you a short but glorious flowering season x
Georgie I love your posts, but sometimes when you are away from the camera, it can be difficult to hear you. Is there a problem with your microphone?
awful truth is sometimes I forget to put it on! if I turn my back speaking I try and say whatever it is again as I turn round - I know my RUclips channel is a bit rough around the edges but time is short and I can only film what I'm actually doing as I do it and there's v little time for editing - I hope it's not too awful xxx
Thank you your an inspiration. All so😊 beautiful.
thank you x
super fun! :-) x
thank you x
So lovely! I have a question Georgie with these kinds of giant bouquets, how do you balance between you as a grower (if I cut this hard into a plant I won't be able to use several smaller stems off of it) and you as a florist (yay, long stems, I can make beautiful decadent arrangements)? Are there times when you feel this tension or is that only a problem in my imagination?
PS I wouldn't mind the bouquet-making sections to be a little slower, to enjoy the arranging :)
I grow plenty of everything so generally have plenty for long and short stems x
lol - I don't know how to make it slower on the speed up thing - I am no technical whizz kid - this clip making business of mine is really as basic as it can get with a phone turned sideways and off we go x
@@theflowerfarmer :D Thanks for doing it anyway! I really enjoy watching your videos
💜
too fast. it isn’t easy for those with mature
eyes to follow. the rest of
the video as
always is
fabulous!
I try and slow down to show you the interesting bits - if I film it all at normal speed the clips would be an hour long and nobody would watch any of it - lol - I can't win xxx
@@theflowerfarmer agreed. silly i commented. 🤦🏽♀️
