it’s an icy early February day in 2225 here in Pennsylvania and your wedding clip just warmed my morning..how I wish you were my neighbor Georgie!..Jon
I LOVE the arch made out of ivy, briliant! I am doing my own wedding flowers in July so it's lovely to hear some tips :) We are having a 10 guest wedding + I love gardening and I take care of my grandparents 1 acre of garden. I will be growing lots of zinnias, asters, sweet peas and cosmos + using grandma's beautiful David Austen roses. Can't wait to start planting! Love from the Czech Republic
Nice video. What generous people to donate towards repairing that lovely church roof. It’s a pity the C of E Church Commisioners couldn’t have coughed up that money - they’re rich enough!
Always important to know the site for arrangements. While stands out among the greenery, and you have taught me to plant beautiful specimens. It's glorious!
I like the flexibility of the design & making the most of what's around. Inspiration for me, thank you. As the only British style floral designer in Sydney, I can feel closer to my English roots through my designs & watching your channel.
Oh Georgie! This made me a little emotional; the flowers are beautiful, I adore the ivy arch and the image of those candles twinkling in the windows. One can’t help but think of all the generations of people who exchanged their vows in that exact same spot for hundreds of years. Thank you so much for sharing this. X
Hello, I grew up in a small town of Princeville, Illinois (USA). Our funeral home is called Haskell Funeral Home, obviously owned by the Haskell family. I found your comment about the brothers interesting! Both my husband's and my mother's families can be traced to your home. My mother's maiden name was Kellington, and my great-grandmother on his side was a Middleton. They came to the US via Canada. ;) Unfortunately I never received an invitation to Kate Middleton's wedding. :(
Welcome back! I love your no nonsense can do approach. The wedding flowers were beautiful and I am sure the bride and groom were thrilled. So wanted to be there!
You really know how to bring your “ bits and pieces” together. As usual everything was stunning. Thank you so much for taking us along to see your beautiful 800 year old church! Would love to stroll down the streets of your village. By the way, I’m loving your Christmas cap. Your friend in South Carolina.😀👍
What love you bring to these flowers for this bride and groom! 💐 I love the gentle relaxed feeling of the bouquets and buttonhole (using your English there!), just beautiful! Thank you, Georgie! 💟 Tammi @basketofblooms
I really loved this video Georgie! So interesting and I especially loved hearing about the church history and the story of the Haskell's. It is reminiscent of my own family history and my 3x great grandparents who were among the first white settlers in my part of NZ and came from a tiny Cornish village. My 3x great grandmother sewed seeds into the hems of her gowns to start her garden with. Her garden is now a tourist attraction. The flowers looked lovely and that arch - wow! Great job - hope all went well on the day. :)
What a great story about your great great great grandmother! I too have family in New Zealand and my grandmother was born in Australia so round and round the world we go xxx
