#LOST SOUNDTRACK ANALYSIS (Michael Giacchino's score)
"You don't wanna be on that sub."
The Man In Black dominates the LOST soundtrack as composer Michael Giacchino presents some of his best work for the show. Go watch it!
    💥🤝🤿
So many years after the show's ending, Michael Giacchino's amazing soundtrack for LOST still has many, many secrets to uncover. Not only does every main character have their own theme music, but much like the interconnected writing of the show itself, Giacchino's score connects locations, scenes, emotions and conflicts in unbelievably brilliant ways. For the foreseeable future, I will be exploring Michael Giacchino's soundtrack from ABC's LOST in a weekly video, covering all episodes of the show and their musical connections to each other.

Oh man I love the way he goes all in on Locke's motif here and when it's fully crashing up against Jack's motif when Jack is trying to get Sawyer to leave the bomb. There's also something dark to me about how we're so close to the end now that some motifs are non-recurring purely cause there is not any more time for them to recur.

Oh, man. Isn't that the truth. I would have loved for LOST to go on for a couple of seasons, just so we could have gotten more variations on "Sub-Primed". 😜 Luckily, there's plenty of new themes still to come!

Fun you included the piano tutorial! :D That was a pretty intense analysis, going back and forward between episodes and themes showing us that ill-fated day on the sub. Really reminded me of much I felt like I held my breath during this episode. Cool that Jack's motif is cut in half like that. I never noticed it, but that's such a Giacchino thing to do (I think he did it for Rogue One). Also very interesting find with the particular use of Life and Death in the death scene.
