So many years after the show's ending, Michael Giacchino's amazing soundtrack for LOST still has many, many secrets to uncover. Not only does every main character have their own theme music, but much like the interconnected writing of the show itself, Giacchino's score connects locations, scenes, emotions and conflicts in unbelievably brilliant ways. Claudia's theme feels to me like an ancient rendition of "Credit Where Credit is Due". Like, if Giacchino composed the score for the TV show "Rome", this could've been its main theme.
And wow, goosebumps at the end there! Your analysis and connection between these characters is amazing. I remember so many thought Jack & Kate would somehow be "Adam and Eve" during the years, but this musical explanation works so much better rather than bizarre time travelling shenanigans. Well done!

"Love is stronger than death" has a big place in my heart, it's a very elegant theme and that's a shame it was used only on two occasions.
Despite the episode not being liked that much by the fans the music is absolutely spot on all the way through.

Holy crap you're right the Adam and Eve theme is super slept on and omg what a connection! I never used to care that much about Jack and Kate's relationship (never hated it, just thought it was fine), but I've thought for a while now that that scene between them in "The End" really justifies their relationship and connection and makes watching their story better in hindsight. I really loved how you edited this where you had Locke's "Our very own Adam & Eve" cut to Jack and Kate in that moment. Both the Adam and Eve theme and your editing made me tear up!

Bro. I am reeling from the "Love is Stronger than Death" connection you pointed out. I can't believe I never noticed that it was the same theme in "Kate Flashes Jack"! That seriously blew my mind, and now it only deepens and enriches that scene between them for me. Giacchino must have also thought Jate is fate, haha (excuse my terrible joke)
Anyway, I wish I watched this video a while ago, because boy do you always end up opening my eyes to something new and profound!

The analysis of not only the music but the episode is awesome, spot on about getting that reminder of how dangerous the island is.
I found it interesting that when Jacob becomes protector, “Mother of a Plan” is the Heart of the Island theme and not Jacob’s. Whereas with Jack and Hurley drinking, it was Jacob’s theme. I kind of like it here though. What are your thoughts on that?
