I know that it's just a legend that the Germans gave them the name "Teufelhunds"; but you gotta admit "Devil Dogs" is a pretty bad ass nickname!
It's not a legend, this song depicts the historically accurate portrayal of the events that occured and how us Marines earned that nickname.
