Bison should definitely make a return. In V he was the most fun iteration of the character I've played and with the way they've made characters for this engine they would absolutely cook with Bison.
@@robertogodoy4779 Shao Kahn is not the best video game villain of all time. It is M. Bison because he kept the Street Fighter legacy franchise strong since, his debut back in the 80s. Shao Kahn has died but came back to Mortal Kombat fame in future games. M. Bison has died as well but he is immortal and can't be killed and destroyed at all. M. Bison is alive and well and will return to SF 6 in Season 2.
And those are exactly the kind of villains that are the most compelling. There is no tragic backstory or anything to "justify" their actions. They're just evil and they love being evil. It's one of the best things from Bison that came packaged with his successor in this game, JP. Entirely human concepts and desires rolled up into one package. JP is greed incarnate, Bison was conquest incarnate.
@@vulcan422also i feel as though Jp isn’t as a good of a villain as bison. i think he’s a weak character design and he never seemed like he could bring a calamity to the world like bison did. on top of that, in sf6 his outro screen has him stepping over your face. which kinda underplays his dark personality he should have.

@@boneworksmortal8709 agreed, not only are there too many sweet characters, the big boss isn't all that scary... JP is just an OP accountant gone rogue at the end of the day... Bison was freaking terrifying
I think he should definitely skip a game. Give people a chance to miss him. He could still be playable. Just don't make him part of the SF6 cannon story at all.
This was a shockingly deep video. I really liked the part about the original SF2 bosses representing greed (Balrog), vanity (Vega), vengeance (Sagat), and lust for power (M. Bison). The character archetypes in Street Fighter made it an iconic experience.
People confuse Bison situation with Heihachi. Bison invested time and resources to become immortal, from all the sf characters in all its lore, he is the one who should resurrect (and gill)
Bison is a little bit like sigma from megaman x he can't really die I think a twist of having another main villain instead of bison could be interesting though Like urien finally being the main villain since gill was for 3 and bison for 5
Hmm... What about Gill? Since SF6 takes place after SF3, I'd imagine, at least, him showing up as a playable character, probably another boss type or something.
I see your points but I would argue that Bison's past actions and concept hold more weight than his character does while also serving as a symbol of evil for characters to fight or work with in the beginning of the story but unlike othee legacy characters Bison has remained mostly static and somewhat repetitive as an antagonist and does have enough weight as a character as he use to while also taking into account him not being the strongest represenative of chaos and I would argue that other fighting game villains have done this but better while giving them nuance that makes them refreshing in each entry. I would say that JP has already present himself as a better villain due to hiding his intentions behind a facade while he manipulates the people around him for his own goals while also having a sense of chaos but presents it in a way that isn't blatantly evil but more of a twisted nihilism; he is also a character that has gained connections to other characters by suspicion or manipulation like Cammy, Ken, Ed, Kimberly, etc. If Bison was to come back then I would say that he should be more if a reincarnation such as him being younger, has a different attire, and still being as evil but wants to commit it in a different way then he use to so there can be a clear element of change in him.
Really hope they will go another route and make some lore for the return to power of Gill after Third Strike or the future of G…but i doubt it, they’ll just plug in any one in world tour with a few empty missions and thats it for lore in sf6. Kinda sucks, because the idea behind world tour is quite clever
There's no to say that Bison can come back but much like how with other characters in Street Fighters 6 be reimagine or in this case reborn in some way. Take like Kimberly that fights in the same Bushinryu ninja style like Guy but with different twist that expands on her fighting style and much follows the same tradition and acts like her former master in being a good guy-er girl. The same for others like Lily that follows the Tunderfoot tribe and AKI who much like FANG is an assassin who obsessed over her master. The only possible way I can see Bison ever returning back is that he can be reincarnated with a whole new different look/design and follows the same aspect of him but under a new banner for SF6 going foward. Afterall Ryu(as well many other old school SF) is old and can't just keep putting Bison down on every SF game that comes out, it wasn't so much the case when SF 3rd Strike went on a different direction at the time and wasn't fully around Shadaloo's storyline. And as I mentioned with the new story of Street Fighter moving foward with it's new protagonist Luke the story could be entirely different in a whole new level. Also given how intertwined Rose is there to Bison I feel that she will succumb a dire fate as well. I could be wrong about this but when her new prodigy Menat debuted in SF5 I can help but feel the mantle is gonna be pass down unto her if she ends up gone from the series as well.
Yes please. Whether people like him or not, I think he’s iconic, to leave him out is strange. We are in a time to have dlcs, he can be non canon dlc for the people whining about story. I believe if they had fleshed him out, show us a bit of his background would make him even more interesting. I still think he has more potential. I have many gripes with how they handled his story, but I’ll refrain for the limit. As his fan, he is first and SF is second. So if he’s gone I don’t see a point in playing any future SF. I’ve seen many who is still waiting for him to even jump on the game or buy it. To be honest, other SF villains after him have not scratched any interest in me. Looks like JP isn’t that interesting either, not right now anyways. I love to be proven wrong though. So yes, I would love to have him back. They had less popular legacy characters as you named in there. But the four kings should be staple and have their spot. May it be dlc going forward.
I would personally like a new high stakes villain that is really powerful and scary. I’m talking about a villain who easily kills/defeats main characters. Someone so powerful our hero characters need to join forces with villains due to the enormous threat. That would be so awesome to see imo…
Unfortunately, even Akuma or Gen, despite being assassins, have not really killed anyone in the SF roster. Just some randos related to the SF characters.
This video did make me appreciate Bison more. I still feel other classic fighting game villains like Geese Howard have more charisma and are more exciting to see
Please let things move forward, we are in a year into SF6 and not one character from SF3 is on the roster yet. If they are going to add Bison let it be far, far down the line. Or for the better not at all. IMO.
I honestly think Street Fighter seems like the perfect game to bring back as many characters as possible. Its placement in the timeline and new art style makes me, at least for me, excited to see how they'll design and program any character. I for one hope my beloved Balro, Hugo, and Birdie can make a triumphant return. If you ask me this is THE game that should try to bring back as many fighters as possible.
Not disputing that he's a great Villain, he is. But the issue is that Street Fighter needs to move past SF2 and we finally got it. We're past SF3 now, and I think it's time we either go back to the Illuminati as a plot point, as there's a lot unresolved there, we figure out what G is up to, or we explore what can be made of Neo Shadaloo even though they're not exactly evil? Either way there is literally so much on the table that can be used to explore the plot past M. Bison. If you want him back just pull a Nightmare Geese and write it off as the memory of Bison haunting people through psycho power, but for the love of God we don't need to depend on Bison as the vehicle of SF's story.
Bison is like very dead, the closest they can do is bring some 11, 12 or 13 as a Bison clone, after all the super soldier and clone experiments were meant to find a replacement body for Bison.
What I find funny is that Akuma never has to justify himself in certain entries where he has almost no ties to the main story. Bison comes along and now people want to bring up the main story to argue why he shouldn't come back. I'm starting to believe that people are making up excuses to deal with their PTSD of getting cooked by Bison in previous titles. Just say you hate the character and move on. Stop the reaching. Lol
@@Dirge_Prime The story no longer matters when it involves those characters. I've seen these same people request Evil Ryu to come back despite the story killing that character off. But Bison comes back and suddenly people care about the story now. Goofy.
@@ArcChristelle That's a long way of saying you like Akuma more than Bison. Both are warriors dude lol. But it proves my point. The story doesn't matter when it comes to characters you like, but it's very important when it comes to characters you don't like right?
@@ArcChristelleAnd since we're taking it there, Akuma is basically a near homeless crazed out hermit adrenaline junkie looking to square up with anybody who wants the smoke. What's more interesting about that other than how cool he looks?
For me an interaction that sounds so cool to me is urien and bison or gill meeting bison. Hell bison is an enemy of most heroes and villains, even vega whos beneath him wants to possibly plot against bison too. Bison has beef with akuma too, he legit is a fun charecter to see interact with others due to him setting in stone so many important events
The fact the character in my profile picture has a design that's inspired by M. Bison himself tells you how influential he was, both as a fighting game villain and as a villain. Though, unlike Bison, I intended to make Toshineko, the villain in my profile picture, a more complex character, but still evil in his own rights.
I think the reason for the Bison hatred is that they've killed him off numerous times, only to resurrect him, I think people are just tired of "killing him" only for Capcom to say "nope not dead lol". There's also a thing known as Villain fatigue, where people are tired of seeing the same villain over and over. There's a reason why it can be exciting to see new villains in some game series, and while a "return to form" by bringing old villains back can be exciting, as it touches on nostalgia, if they never STAY DEAD, said nostalgia can't kick in properly. I mean, just imagine how much of a shake up it would've been if MegaMan/RockMan had had different villains in the various main lines. Imagine a timeline where Wily and Sigma AREN'T constantly coming back, but they _do_ return after a game or two. Their delayed return would make for a more interesting story and would explain why they suddenly have a slew of resources, as they clearly were building said resources up while not in the spotlight. And Wily/Sigma have an excuse: they have/use robots, which can just be rebuilt. Wily is mortal and will eventually pass, though. Sigma is a mere virus rather than a full fledged character, so he can be repelled and eventually eliminated (as see in the Mega Man X Zero series) Bison, on the other hand, is using flesh bodies, which _shouldn't_ be AS replaceable. Hell, I'd argue that more bases Shadowloo has, the easier it should've been to track all their movements and shut them down. As one saying goes, "The more people who know a secret, the less of a secret it is." And by forcefully making him immortal by doing tying him to Rose and this theory that he's "chaos incarnate" or whatever, I'd argue it reduces him immensely. It's saying that he can't die because of LITERAL plot armor, so killing his host body only slows him down. If anything, it's basically turned M.Bison from a villainous dictator who has goals that are repulsive but understandable ( _i.e. wanting to mind control and/or possess powerful people to take over the world_ ) to a "I DID IT FOR THE EVULZ" bullshit plot armor OP character who is defeated by the power of -love- -extreme violence- purity, which is one of the lowest forms of villain. Honestly, if they removed the whole "We _can't_ kill him or else NEBULOUS BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN" and just had him creating clones to jump into, all of which are burning up until he can find a body that can truly handle him possessing it (i.e. Ryu, maybe Sakura, etc.), he would honestly return to being a more interesting villain, because his defeat would be possible and inevitable, just not guaranteed to be soon.
For Street Fighter 6, i honestly think that M.Bison should sit this one out. Perhaps give other villains a chance to step in and make their mark. however, I wouldn't mind him potentially making a return in some fashion in Street fighter 7.
He already sat out a game: SF3. Chronologically speaking, that occurs between 5 and 6, so you could say he's served his time in limbo, even if it was before many current gamers were born. BTW, not saying Bison must return for SF6, but Capcom didn't seem to appreciate what it had back in 1996 when it made SF3 without Bison. Little chance they'd sacrifice the profit now.
At this point, I believe Oro needs to intervene and display his full power against the likes of G. The voice actor who plays G confirmed that G intends on causing another Pangea event. So Rose could ask Oro to intervene and defeat G.
From a narrative perspective, the mysterious ambiguity surrounding JP seems to guarantee the return of Bison. Personally, I'd prefer to see him come back with alternative andor additional motivation, perhaps via an epiphanic NDE while in between bodies.
M.Bison is the league of Darth Vader, Magneto, Dr Doom, Joker, Lex Luthor as one of the most iconic villains in media. Is a most that he is included in some form or capacity
Until you find out hes actually just a rip off of a villain in Riki-oh and Yasunori Kato from Doomed Megalopolis. And he got his western name only because Capcom was afraid theyd get a lawsuit from Mike Tyson.
@@DontKnowDontCare6.9 indeed, but in the cultural zeitgeist many times is not the first to do it but the one that made it work. For example the Scarface movie.
Modern day villain always need reason to do something bad. In real life most villains don't need reason to do evil. And that's what make Bison the boss.
If counting Street Fighter I, Sagat started out seeking power to fuel his pride. He held the 1st World Warrior Tournament to prove he is the strongest in the world. Ryu took that away from him. THEN it was all about vengeance. ...Which I feel Ryu succumbing to the Satsui no Hadou for his victory slightly undermines. Instead of learning to accept a legimitate loss, he learned "Oh, Ryu wasn't himself. He was kind of being a sore loser. Like I am being right now. Ohhhh..."
Im surprised Capcom didnt get a lawsuit for ripping off General Washizaki from Riki-Oh and Yasunori Kato from Doomed Megalopolis. 2 iconic villains in Japan, but relatively unknown in the west.
We need Bison mostly because nothing happening story wise at the moment. Everyone is relaxing in their perfect lives minus Ken, and JP isn't doing so great as a threatening villain.
JP has that potential but his shtick of financial piracy and subtle scheming isn't enough. It's foreshadowing, and foreshadowing _needs_ the follow up to be meaningful.
@@SaltyKeldion All JP got since the game release is beaten pretty hard by AKI, who would have killed him were it not for her master's orders. Otherwise, not much
@Daniel-lg7bo That's simply a bigger hill to overcome. AKI's threat isn't making him look great, but the absence of story progression is no less harmful.
@@SaltyKeldion Arcade endings are especially a big red flag since barely anything happens in them. They feel like prologues to a separate story not told.
"Perfect Fighting Game Villain!???" Let that Bison 🧢 stay in that ruined lab. In hindsight, what Fatal Fury did way back then by killing Geese Howard a popular villain, was ballsy. Bison coming for Season 2 also undercuts G and Gill's mysterious whereabouts because they never officially died. So.. story wise, bad. Marketing-wise, I can understand as he is madly popular. But it's way too early for him to come back.
Okay added note on this* Ironically you video explains exactly WHY Bison will not come back: Exhibit B- You mention that Bison is center hub of the storylines. Yet all the characters that you mentionned being connected to him are on the back seat in SF6 (Ryu& Chun-Li ). Heck Nash is dead lol. Guile & Cammy are tbd. Exxhibit C - You mention that he is a great vehicule for creating new characters - Falke, Decapre & Seth. 2 of them was badly received and as yet to come back since there appearance (Decapre and Falke*). Seth was badly received as a boss but had to be revamped. - Again it proves how it makes sense to not bring Bison back- Exhibit D - If Capcom is ready to move forward from Ryu story-wise and him as the poster boy , why in the heck would they throw M.Bison back as he was the poster villain for most of them??? It's all nostalgia and it's becoming really sad seriously. 😅 (*Edit: I initially put Seth but wanted to put Falke )
@@jamesonblues I mean... probably Gill? Mostly because of the story/lore events. SF6 is years after SF3, so I'd assume at least Gill to make a return. But that's just my opinion. And then there's Q. He's perhaps somehow connected to G? Then again, maybe not. Who knows...
@@VBrancoPT I have no worries about Gill coming back because he has a world in himself that his way more mysterious (Illuminatti). Bringing back characters like Urien and Kolin. And YES! for the G and Q mystery. Please let Capcom develop this!
doesn't undercut. In sf4 Bison was a secondary villain. He was tied to Seth, but he wasn't the one moving the story. G can come and do his things while Bison is around and is simply interacting with him, not undermining him. Bison doesn't need to be the central villain. Think of geese in KOF (instead of FF)
yes, should satay dead, let the story have a new villain, make a new character with the playstyle for his previous players, thats it, or if he returns let it be like a memory or something, like Kazumy fron T7 or Joker in Injustice 2
Yeah that's cute and all but the problem with Bison is that his presence means that Street Fighter can't move past SFII. Bison can exist but he can no longer be as impactful as he once was. Also the dichotomy of Good vs Evil ruins the pot of being a warrior, pursuing ambition and strength outside of Ryu. It's important that Bison is not the motivator for the entire cast that way.
@@Dirge_Prime as a person who actually grew up with III being their favorite entry, I'd be happy to have a game without the WW. but it I HAD to accept the WW, they have more reason to be in an entry as WARRIORS than Bison. Let him go through a redemption phase or some alternative route to show what fighting means to him personally outside the means of global domination. 1. We need new villains in street fighter like tekken because tekken has different final bosses even though that heihachi and kazuya are the main ones 2. I wish the psycho power was a little more stronger than the devil gene
Street Fighter has gotten Necalli, G, FANG, JP, and others in recent years. It's not that Bison needs to be THE big boss of a game, I just think he's earned his spot as a regular given how important he's been as a villain and storytelling device.
On the one hand, yes, I agree that Bison as he appeared in Street Fighter II series and the Street Fighter Alpha series was a legitimately great villain. I wouldn't say he was the best antagonist in the series, I think that's pretty easily Akuma personally, but he was very good. But then he started to seriously overstay his welcome. The fact that there are as many characters as there are whose origin story can be simplified to "spare body for bison" is a bit of a problem. Of the five Street Fighter series we've had over time before 6's release (Street Fighter (1987) is not a real game and you cannot convince me otherwise), the villains in each of them were Bison, Bison, Gill, Bison's robot, and Bison. And I personally don't think Bison's robot is as meaningful as a distinction from Bison as some other people, especially considering Bison himself still very much has a presence. If Bison actually died in SF2, *maybe* if they skipped out on the Seth stuff and they finished him off in SF4, there'd be no problem. But instead we just get this repetitive husk of a villain denying us of variety as the series goes on. Is anyone legitimately going to argue that Street Fighter V Bison is as strong a character as his 90's counterparts? I don't even mean in lore (though it is very appropriate that this is him at his weakest there). And we haven't even fully moved on from him yet, because Street Fighter 6's antagonist is just Bison's accountant with his powers. While there was a point where Bison was one of the better fighting game antagonists, I think Street Fighter V (and to a lesser extent Street Fighter IV) have very much tarnished his legacy. I very much agree with the people saying that Bison should stay dead, at least for now, we don't need him back yet. Maybe come Street Fighter 7 or 8 you can have a noncanon dlc psycho power spirit Bison or something, but it's way too soon for now.
Street fighter has a M bison problem, that is they knocked it out of the park with him on their first, well second, attempt. he’s a megalomaniac dictator set on world domination. It’s a thing that most anyone can get behind for the reason why The iconography of Star Wars when it comes to the Empire. M Bison looks sort of like a you know what. So of course, everyone can hate this charismatic villain. Promise as a series goes on you can keep on going back to that well like super Mario Brothers with Bowser or you got introduced a new main villain. That’s the hard part. Sure they’ve tried. Gill, Seth and JP but they always seem to go back to the well cause while the others are okay, M Bison is iconic. The only exception I would say would be Akuma but even in that case he’s not serving the same role, he isn’t out for world domination, he just wants to fight and either kill or be killed by the strongest opponent. But that’s the thing instead of trying to create another megalomaniac dead set on world domination they should try for a villain with different motives because that’s what made Akuma work. Constantly trying to do those type of characters that harken back to bison just makes them feel like cheap imitations. It’s the reason why even even with this latest game look who they brought back… M bison.
How can we miss you if you never go away? This is the major problem with SF. They just can't move past M Bison and Shadowloo. SF's story is basically at dead end and Capcom is too scared to take the franchise in a new direction like SNK has done with KOF. Rugal is SNK's more popular final boss and that's because he doesn't appear in every KOF game. He made his mark with 94 and 95 of the Orochi Saga. After that he only appeared in 98 and 2002 for Dream Match games, that are not canon, and KOFVX for a Boss Battle Mode. This also goes for Geese Howard. He officially died at the end of Fatal Fury. He only appeared in non-canon Real Bout games, KOF97, KOFXIV and XV. The only acceptable way to bring back Bison is if Capcom did what SNK did with Geese in KOFXIV and made him over powered as Zombie Geese. Capcom can do a super OP undead version of Bison where the Psycho Power is keeping him animated and so strong it's bursting through his flesh to the point you can see his skeleton.
KOF Move on from Orochi, to a Technology based Villian group called NESTS, to a Story about a French Femboy with Green Flames, to a Chinese Based Saga.
Bison has the best posture of them all. Better than Guile, Akuma even Connor and Khabib. The back of his head is straight and flat and inline with his spine
I personally don't care for bison to come back. We should get some new villains and some new faces. If not, maybe some characters we haven't seen since the Alpha series. To be honest, if they do end up putting Bison back in the game. I just feel like it's too early.
I think that Bison can sit out one (1) game, simply because while he has a lot of important themes and connections and what not, sometimes it can be a good thing to let other characters have their moment in the sun. Diversify a little, you know. Let others have a chance of becoming important characters. SF3 was not liked for having so many newcomers, but I can't say I dislike the attitude of trying something different. So if SF6's "something different" can be an exploration of what antagonists they can create when Bison doesn't steal all the villain-attention, I for one don't mind it.
Bison should be playable. His style is so iconic and he's popular. His story should be done. Let him interact as a ghost ala evil ryu in sf5, but he shouldn't be the big bad again
Your kidding me in the previous game . He was turned into Dust and Matter the designs in Street Fighter 6 points towards a new direction in the storyline and a different generation of fighters growing up and rising which introduces New Villians in a distant future @MrRyuken555
@IbukiClean Your a dumbass I swear man Ryu turned him into dust the Street Fighter 2 timeline is outplayed enough is enough no more Bison Gill is better
i love Bison and he's been really fun in every game to me but i personally would rather him staying gone at least until really far down the line like a season 4 or 5 of dlc because his existence forces a story to center around him, i like his place in sf4 more bc he was there but probably didn't canonically fight anybody in that game besides maybe Seth and Juri and was just there in the shadows getting the resources for making the satellites in sf5
I honestly feel kinda divided about Bison returning. On one hand, he's plotted to take over the world and failed so many times that someone else should take his spot. Also, Street Fighter V was pretty much his ultimate plan for world domination, which led to the World Warriors assembling to stop him. Besides, didn't Ryu erase him from existence in Street Fighter V's Story Mode or something? Sure, his soul still lives, but how is that gonna work is beyond me. On the other hand, he's most likely the most iconic villain in the franchise and fighting games in general. He may not be the most powerful (that honor goes to Gill), but he's iconic, for sure. If Capcom plans to bring him back, make him a non-canon What-If version (similar to Oni in Street Fighter IV and Nightmare Geese).
I find the lore of SF more compelling then the games and my love for it is the same as GI*JOE= comics (mostly the Marvel comic plus Devils Due run) I have no horse to back on the he should remain death or arround But his presence should be felt he had his Pycho fist in many projects and changed or ended many lives. Hack even when he is still alive he would have a kick to see how his lab rats act when they thing there chains have come lose. Balrog and Sagat have become better persons without his backing... While Vega and Juri became more unhinged
"I want Ryu's body." **proceeds to bio-engineer a bunch of random blonde clones and kidnaps other prospective hosts that don't seem to resemble Ryu at all** I can only reasonably assume the clones are based on his own dna and the non-ryu hosts are somehow also close to his original body's genetics.

What about Gill, though? Since SF6 takes place after SF3, I'd at least assume he'd show up again.
Too many childish characters. The character designers suck.
bison is still the best sf character
I think he should definitely skip a game. Give people a chance to miss him. He could still be playable. Just don't make him part of the SF6 cannon story at all.
Yup the Geese Howard treatment
This was a shockingly deep video. I really liked the part about the original SF2 bosses representing greed (Balrog), vanity (Vega), vengeance (Sagat), and lust for power (M. Bison). The character archetypes in Street Fighter made it an iconic experience.
People confuse Bison situation with Heihachi. Bison invested time and resources to become immortal, from all the sf characters in all its lore, he is the one who should resurrect (and gill)
Bison is a little bit like sigma from megaman x he can't really die
I think a twist of having another main villain instead of bison could be interesting though
Like urien finally being the main villain since gill was for 3 and bison for 5
Hmm... What about Gill? Since SF6 takes place after SF3, I'd imagine, at least, him showing up as a playable character, probably another boss type or something.
Gill or Bison? I’ll take Bison any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Welcome back bison! The best villain in history
I agree with everything said in this video
I remember when i was young. We used to call him Major Bison
Great vid as usual 🙌 especially the Rose part 👌
Glad you liked it!
This video did make me appreciate Bison more. I still feel other classic fighting game villains like Geese Howard have more charisma and are more exciting to see
Bring back Seth, gill(or Urien) and bison
I agree with exactly one of those: Bison.
Maybe Capcom should make a Prequel about a Young Bison.
Young Bison would be a cool name for a rapper.
But that’s the thing: Bison was never young. Bison is as eternal as evil itself.
As a Bison Main I am happy he's back in Sf6.
Well, this aged well........the second most evil character in history has returned........
Lol
If you ever bring up the idea about Ryu, Ken, Chun or Akuma sitting out a game to these people its, NOO noonnoo we cant have that!! lol
@@Dirge_Prime The story no longer matters when it involves those characters. I've seen these same people request Evil Ryu to come back despite the story killing that character off. But Bison comes back and suddenly people care about the story now. Goofy.

I like the idea that Bison wants to be killed by strong hate-filled opponents since that's what makes him stronger on return.
If he stays dead what are you going to use for your like and subscribe animation?
(That's the whole reason I did this video...)
@@EventHubs 😆
Sigma is a mere virus rather than a full fledged character, so he can be repelled and eventually eliminated (as see in the Mega Man X Zero series)
Bison, on the other hand, is using flesh bodies, which _shouldn't_ be AS replaceable.
That's my favorite character off all time...
I'm starting to like EventHubs with all this Bison love. Hopefully they bring him back ASAP.
For Street Fighter 6, i honestly think that M.Bison should sit this one out. Perhaps give other villains a chance to step in and make their mark. however, I wouldn't mind him potentially making a return in some fashion in Street fighter 7.
Well you got your wish. Somehow, M. Bison returned.
I love Bison, but he needs a game to sit out.
Imagine lol

JP is working hard to bring Bison back
JP has that potential but his shtick of financial piracy and subtle scheming isn't enough.

Bison coming for Season 2 also undercuts G and Gill's mysterious whereabouts because they never officially died. So.. story wise, bad. Marketing-wise, I can understand as he is madly popular. But it's way too early for him to come back.
Okay added note on this*
Ironically you video explains exactly WHY Bison will not come back:
Exhibit B- You mention that Bison is center hub of the storylines.
- Again it proves how it makes sense to not bring Bison back-
Exhibit D - If Capcom is ready to move forward from Ryu story-wise and him as the poster boy , why in the heck would they throw M.Bison back as he was the poster villain for most of them???
It's all nostalgia and it's becoming really sad seriously. 😅
(*Edit: I initially put Seth but wanted to put Falke )
@@jamesonblues I mean... probably Gill? Mostly because of the story/lore events. SF6 is years after SF3, so I'd assume at least Gill to make a return. But that's just my opinion.

I say bring Bison back in a NON CANON way. Leave him out of the story whilst also making him playable. As SF without Bison playable is simply odd
doesn't undercut.
Bison didn't if villain again instead of hero I'm good guy perfect
Yeah that's cute and all but the problem with Bison is that his presence means that Street Fighter can't move past SFII. Bison can exist but he can no longer be as impactful as he once was. Also the dichotomy of Good vs Evil ruins the pot of being a warrior, pursuing ambition and strength outside of Ryu.
It's important that Bison is not the motivator for the entire cast that way.

Exactly! Bison's presence does not exclude other villains or new main story arcs. He should be in every game regardless.@@EventHubs
How is Psycho Power not stronger then the devil Gene?
Personally love Bison and he’s been my main since 4
M. Bison should be the very first DLC character of season 2
When you realise M bision was based on M tyson and that he's original name was Vega in the Japanese version.
And a blatant rip off of Yasunori Kato from Doomed Megalopolis.
Killing Bison is like killing Megatron from Transformers!
Bison can fly

What would S.I.N. be, if Seth was Not a Rouge Bison Clone.
Yeah SF3 failed with there newcomers
I'm OK with an Oldman in a Cane & a Shadow Stand as SF6's Main Boss
perfect
Bison should be playable. His style is so iconic and he's popular. His story should be done. Let him interact as a ghost ala evil ryu in sf5, but he shouldn't be the big bad again
Exactly they dont have anyone with a style like his, now Im stuck with JP and his cowardly style.
Please. Bison in SF6
Leave
Yes we need Bison back!!!!!!!
Your kidding me in the previous game . He was turned into Dust and Matter the designs in Street Fighter 6 points towards a new direction in the storyline and a different generation of fighters growing up and rising which introduces New Villians in a distant future @MrRyuken555
@@new-gengd2644he was killed in previous games tho he can just come back
@IbukiClean Your a dumbass I swear man Ryu turned him into dust the Street Fighter 2 timeline is outplayed enough is enough no more Bison Gill is better
I wonder what the M stands for on Bison's name.
i love Bison and he's been really fun in every game to me but i personally would rather him staying gone at least until really far down the line like a season 4 or 5 of dlc because his existence forces a story to center around him, i like his place in sf4 more bc he was there but probably didn't canonically fight anybody in that game besides maybe Seth and Juri and was just there in the shadows getting the resources for making the satellites in sf5
He just get a new body. That how he got back alive in the other times he died.
Please, Gill is not the most powerful villain, don't kid yourself.
Gill aint Sh¡t
Watch is get M. Bison and the same people that wanted him complain he’s not as good as he was or that he’s too OP or something 🙄
I wish they make a New Villian Group that's Unrelated to Shadaloo.
How about the Human Flag's (Gill) Illuminati? It was very imaginatively named.
Turn Gen into a robot and bring him back 😤
All hail the king 🔥🔥🔥
I find the lore of SF more compelling then the games and my love for it is the same as GI*JOE= comics (mostly the Marvel comic plus Devils Due run)
I have no horse to back on the he should remain death or arround
But his presence should be felt he had his Pycho fist in many projects and changed or ended many lives. Hack even when he is still alive he would have a kick to see how his lab rats act when they thing there chains have come lose.
Balrog and Sagat have become better persons without his backing... While Vega and Juri became more unhinged
"I want Ryu's body."
**proceeds to bio-engineer a bunch of random blonde clones and kidnaps other prospective hosts that don't seem to resemble Ryu at all**
I can only reasonably assume the clones are based on his own dna and the non-ryu hosts are somehow also close to his original body's genetics.
We need Q to return
"The Perfect Fighting Villain"..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Los Yanquees son muy limitados, no conocen otra cosa.
Que pasa con Kazuya, Geese, Shang Tsung, Orochi.
😂😂😂😂.
Son tan chistosos los gustos de los norteamericanos
Still think he should stay dead, let capcom cook with JP to see how it goes.
JP is boring. He's becoming a major pushover in the story now.
@@CGImpala how so? If anything he's getting more lore, bits by bits. Lately with Ed, we know that falke is missing and last "seen" in nayshall. Jp probably captured her or some shit. Again, let them cook.
@@TheAlemario2 Bro, dude gets low key punked by AKI when told to stay in his lane when it comes to reviving Shadaloo. Even the remnants of Shadaloo only see him as the dude that moves their money around. Even other characters including Ed don't even regard him specifically as the main threat, only hiding it. Dude is not all that lol.
@@CGImpala that's what Capcom wants you to think lmao. I guarantee you the mf is hiding his true intentions and power. Don't you think it's suspicious for him to lose to everyone? If he won ppl would start giving him even more attention, he's the master deceiver.
JP isn't interesting enough JP is like Kolin when we knew her as Helen. Lore wise kl but she ain't nothing special she barely a villain she the villains assistant
Well, Bison is back now in SF6 lol
"Slayer revealed for Guilty Gear Strive season 4"
Hase, Taka, Grant_Chi, Daymendou, Kicks42, Zinmae, PepperySplash & Cookieman47 = NOT TRASH
Mikeboiiswagg, DiscoKong, Dwajio & Vikdoom = STRAIGHT TRASH 😄
I would agree that bison should come back if the story was consistent but instead capcom gives you a bunch a pieces of lore and then never puts it together. It makes for very unsatisfying story telling.
amazed
He'll be back...
New villain, new story, new characters. Capcom can make a Vs game and include whatever they want. But Street fighter needs to evolve the story.
Bus driver from hell
Oh, come on, there’s a lot of Honda fans out there!!! right…? or is it just me…
I'm not a huge Street Fighter fan, but even I find his absence to be strange. Do fans not like him or something?
No.
NO…. leave Dictator alone. It has been 33 years since the introduction of the 4 bosses. It is time for someone different. Leave Seth and Gill alone, as well. It is time for someone (or some new) else to take rise.
Akuma has officially been revealed, that being said bring back Major Vega😂
