Thank you again for the book, the podcast, the EP, everything! As a younger Monkees fan, I feel so blessed to have new Monkees/Micky content still coming out! My question isn’t related to the book, but something I’ve been curious about for a while. Micky wrote the song “Alicia”, the B side to his “Love Light” single from 1979. I think it’s some of his finest song-writing. It tells a really compelling story, so I was wondering what or who was the inspiration behind the song?
Any stories and pictures about the group "D, D & T " in "I'm Told I Had A Good Time" book which consisted of Micky Dolenz, Coco Dolenz and Peter Tork? I believe they did a few performances together back in the early 1970s. Not too many fans are aware of them or their existence.

Maybe a different question from the others- I remember hearing a couple years ago that you were suing the FBI for records they kept about the Monkees! What can you tell us about why they were investigating, and any progress on getting the materials?

A little backwards....it's the Hall of Fame that's a joke....the Monkees are awesome. The RARHOF is not an institution....it's a privately run business that is subject to the whims of the people running it. They pick who they like and ignore who they don't. I couldn't give a rats @$$ who they pick. They are irrelevant. I know who the real legends are to me.

When I met him at fanboy in Orlando Fl on September 2nd. I asked him if he was ever annoyed by having to be in hair and makeup longer than the other guys, because of having fluffy curly hair. He said that he didn't remember if it took him the longest in hair in make up, but if it did he didn't mind. He also said that they used a large barrel curling iron to make his hair into that curly fro!
Hey Micky, when are you going to finally ace the hat. We the fans hate to know that you have a some kind of painful self loathing because of your thinning hair. At least that's what you project every time you wear a hat. We love you regardless. we much rather have you open minded, happier, and relieved. please, either get a haircut to compliment what do you do have, seek to have it done medically but just get rid of those hats.

It's a joke that the Monkees aren't in the hall of fame, they have sold more records than 75% of the current members of the hall

Micky hair is naturally curly right? Is it true that he hated having to straighten it on season 1 of the Monkees?
Micky's hair was naturally very curly. I think Micky looked better with his natural styled hair.

I loved his curly fro sooooo much better 😍! Was was soooo handsome with the curly fro❤❤❤❤! He is still a nice looking guy 🥰💕💕!
