And yet somehow they managed to make The Enclave in Fallout 3 ever so slightly more nuanced than in Fallout 2, whilst this could be chalked up to the games ridiculously short development cycle. However; if Modern Bethesda writing manages to come up something even more nuanced and compelling than what the people who went on to make Fallout: New Vegas originally did; think hard about your work...
Indeed. It's a shame that they don't seem to understand that if you want a faction--an _army_ of people numbers in the hundreds or more--to be an enduring enemy then it _needs_ to be more than "mwu ha ha, we're evil".

This is actually Professional level writing! How has this not blown up yet? I genuinely want this to be made into a TV Show similar to the mandalorian or the walking dead. The characters have genuine complexity and arcs, actually insane for a small youtube series
I feel like a big reason could be that the main character's voice is so irritating. I don't know why Omega decided to have the character sound so pissed off and weird all of the time.
@power-armoured_german9856 Harper I believe makes sense considering how disturbed the man is. But swafford shouldn't have to sound so pissed all the time
some real redemption for harper in my eyes, ive found him an obtuse character that i just cant find myself getting behind but this episode really gave him some space to improve as a person or at least show more of his human side. keep up the good work!
@@TheOmegaInitiative yeah but it shows he is capable of starting to change, at least starting to follow through with "trying" to change. like he said he would. Take as much time as you need to finish this series, brother. Your storytelling is impeccable. The moment with ATLAS made me cry a bit. Such a sad end for an AI

Harper is definitely the best character. Both because he’s just a badass, and because I agree with a lot he says. Also, YOU’RE drawing these?! Damn dude this is beautiful! On a side note, I’m with Matao: three arms is ABSOLUTELY a bonus.
No it's only AI, if I was drawing it my hand would have fallen off by now. I try to balance the characters so that one is just right all the time, but they're all terribly flawed people, which hopefully I can better illustrate in the future.
@@TheOmegaInitiative Ah, my bad. When the first picture appeared there was a note that said “I can’t draw X0-1, you’ll just have to pretend”, so I assumed you were drawing them.
By far, the amazing Fallout Alternate History you've made. Ny top favorites are the Great War never happening, the Enclave winning in Fallouts 2 & 3 and Mr House getting the Platinum chip on time... Especially the ending with Atlas showing his patriotism until his end...
This story and this episode specifically was one hell of a whirlwind from terror, to fast action, to character building and humanity. You could not have told it better. Harper went from being a cold and grisly man to being a character with a lot of complexity. He seemed borderline inhuman in earlier episodes but now he has been revealed to be more of a man broken by war and torn somewhat between what his orders are and what he thinks is right. It will be interesting to see if and when you do it to some other characters. Will they blindly follow orders or will they open their eyes to the corrupt evil that the nations leaders have become and save what is left of America and the world. All things to look forward to in the coming episodes. All in good time. Keep at it.
