This is idea of splitting the frequencies and adjusting the distortion in individual bands comes from Craig Anderton who developed the Quadrafuzz back in the 80's.
maaaaan. i love this idea. compress my low end distort my highs. i do that in my daw but this in a pedal format, awesome. but this is a djent box man. if your not a bassist in a djent band how the fuck do you get a usable tone out of it? where did the mids go? cmon darkglass, all your other pedals work so well in everything, why release something that is so focused on one style?
@@basstheworldofficial I mean you are very correct there sir. Makes perfect sense for the company to make something for their biggest audience. Im just disappointed because I've been wanting something like this on my board for so long. Love darkglass but not this time :(
You could just use a splitter like a Lehle P-Split and an EQ pedal as low pass filter for the bass channel. Might be more complicated and expensive, but it’s even more flexible- you can use any drive pedal you like (that has an EQ as well)
@@basstheworldofficial Yeah for sure. Thing is I've got a Boss line selector with a bunch of fuzz, filters, octavers and some other stuff already, board is big as hell haha. Kinda hoped this one box could save me some space when I first saw it.

Gregor, I've scoured the internet, and you are right. No where else is there such a beautiful Eastern German accent.
The world seems less darker when René is playing. It's nice to see him back on the channel.
... the parallel output explanation was priceless 🤣
I was about to add my comment, but you beat me to it.
Dead!
Also, nice to hear this pedal with different basses. Also, 4:46 HAHA!
I like these guys, but that bright overly high-shelved distortion isn't for me
I call it "fizzy". It blends with the guitars when used live or in a mix, which basically means you get lost in the guitars.
Don't mind me. I'm here for the licks.
Love this because as a musician it is such a great feeling for me to enjoy the info & the talent or other musicians Sharee on this channel
Thumbs up for "metal type people". The greatest accent ever... cheers!
I like the design of that orange bass.
Pure Metal Pedal. Thank you Supervisor of the "Kackbratzen" 😀

Great review! What was that first bass being played?
a Supra Sapphire
A master volume on a non ultra dark glass pedal. No more unity gain issues one hopes?
YES! 🙂
I can see why people like it but not me though. Not even a diss it just isn’t for me.
Hahahahaha idk. A gift to your mom!? Hahaha love it
