So I actually have dark hair and have lightened with the intentions of grey or silver hair. I lightened then used wella t14 toner and 050 cooling violet. It works to create Grey silver hair. You don't even need to dye it afterwards.
@Crystal Grill Thank you for sharing your experience. Is the 050 cooling violet a wella product? I'm unfamiliar with the types of colorants used in combination with toners (outside of boxed hair dyes). And have you used the t18 and the t14? I have heard that the t14 can come out looking almost green with some folks. And that makes me nervous to try it. 🤔
@Mary Wents I appreciate your comment and the helpful advice...I have a curiosity about the T14, but I really think the T18 is best suited for my hair. 🙂
@13doll13face It's become a thing for me...doing hair coloring outside. It started years ago when my husband was gone at work for long periods....I could more easily watch our 4 kids playing in the yard while doing my hair. The clean-up is easier, the lighting is great for filming, the fumes are less bothersome, and I feel happier outside on a nice day. :)
@reginablevins8550 My experience has been that silver is REALLY hard to achieve, even if you bleach your hair to a pale blonde first. I get streaky results at best. 🙈👀💜
Im about to try it.....ive found manic panic pack online has worked great for bleaching if u had 2 use a boxed product....and love Wella products normally dont have to tone if applying dye afterwards dependi on the shade using that is....but im about to give splay sinful a try today ive used a similar silver diff brand in past and it turned out like yours did....likely bc we don't know what kind of bleach and developer their using in this "BOXED PRODUCTS" AND SOME HAIR IS SO POROUS SPECIALLY THE ENDS(BRITTLE AND CAN FRY) SO I WILL KEEP UPDATED ON THE OUTCOME....AGGHHH😭👍🏻😘 #HELLOFROMDELAWARE
@@BeingBarton hello, soooo update splat bleach was okay but the silver color didn't turn silver (the actual blue color dye stuck to my blonde.so that was a fail i will stick with my color toner i guess now the pink splat that i did on my ends did stick!!! Alot of box bleach dries out on hair so if happens spritz it with water but i use extra developer at times in mixing bowl with box bleach!! But Sally's is way 2 go!!!!!
@@BeingBarton that would have been a great idea. i was a hairstylist for over 16yrs. also, on the color not turning out so well on the hair closest to the scalp, you will have to get a darker toner or just lighten up the roots more. that way the color will be more evened out all over. I make mistakes on my own hair too. so lots of times that is how i have learned throughout the years!!! good luck my friend!!!
About to dye my hair this color hopefully it turn out good
@Brandon Eliason Nice! Let us know how it goes. 🙂
“Your the best mommy ever “ that’s so sweet 🥲

Curious...why do you do the hair dyeing outside? Beautiful place you are in.

Put coconut oil on your hair an hour before bleaching and it will not ruin your hair bleach over the top of the coconut oil
@taraspiller651 I appreciate this tip!
So this kit won't turn your hair silver? Even if you bleach it first?

I love all of your videos you are gorgeous and amazing
@taraspiller651 Thank you 😘❤️
I love these videos! You’re literally a life saver! Or should I say hair saver‽
@Luke Ontiveros Wahoo!! ✨
The directions say to process color for 45 to 60 minutes, and if your hair is thick to add 15 minutes. I say give it another try.
@Ana Shaver Thank you for commenting. 🙂
Purple shampoo is so much better and not harmful to your hair

Yes i used two boxes and can never get silver tried splat and another brand before ughhh the color blue/purple stuck to parts of blonde
Oh em gee I feel dump I thought it meant like one teaspoon of toner the 2 teaspoons of developer no wonder it didn't work 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
@Pink Kiiwwii Oh, no! 👀🙈🤣
And also toner dont stay more than a die, so its good to do both nearr
@Lily K-nibal 😎👍
turned my hair more of a light purple
@Eward Scott How do you feel about it? 🤔
I suggest research fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.
@Louie Riggs Thank you for the head's up! :)
Blue toner for the roots cause its near orange, purple for the lighter yellow (:
@Lily K-nibal Thank you! 💓
Next time get 2 bottles of color.
@Tammmy Graves Yes. I feel like this product should be sold as a multipack. 😅
