To add to this, the darker hair color faded FAST. I will show you in next week's video (it's a fun TEMU one!). In fairness, I do shampoo my hair every day (NOT my favorite habit I have picked up). Which will obviously make the color fade faster, but this color did go away quickly. Just something to keep in mind if you look at purchasing this. I hope you have a great Sunday & I can't wait to see you next week!
hey girlie, just wanted to let you know just incase; i think it looked like you were trying to cover your sons name; but then when you placed the bowling pin down (closer to the end of the video) it's facing forwards and you can see it. 💖 and E6000 glue to bedazzle shoes ✨☺️
You make me laugh. I needed to tell you! I learned in my bio class that there are different genes for different types of ear wax. Haha. I guess some people have dry balls of wax and some have the wet waxy kind. Can you imagine?! 😅
I just this gadget today. I have dark hair with spaced out grey roots. I either did not blend in the color with my fingers or it's just not going to do the job in covering the grey. The only thing it has going for itself is that you don't have to mess with making sure all the hair length is covered with dye. I don't have long nor thick hair, so there should be some dye left in the cartridge. I will see tomorrow since I will try to redo the areas that were left grey. 1st try - not impressed with result and the price point is too high, maybe $50 for the device and $17.99 for the dye would make up for DIY at home
Looks like it as well lol I was just watching an ad for it and I thought interesting and wanted to try it but not after seeing the price or even the fact it doesn’t look user friendly lol
Same here I've suffered with depression and anxiety for many years, life has been emotionally draining, last night I finally cut my narcissistic mother out of my life as the controlling manipulation and toxicity is pushing me over the edge, hopefully things will improve with time and the emotional scars will begin to heal. Hope each and every person suffering can heal too and find peace with themselves.
These videos are 100% getting me through this stressful day 🩷🩷 I ain’t doing A THING but laying in bed watching you 🥰 All day… it’s a problem. Love you, girl 💕 Keep keeping it real..
I absolutely enjoyed this video, because you make this fantastically fun. I hope your child has a fantastic birthday. I, also, hope you have an amazing week.🥰🤗🥰
PLEASE do the Crab recipe asap!!! I would ❤to see your sons face when he opens his bowling pin from his favorite RUclipsr but I know you like to keep them out of social media so just tell us in the next video how excited he was! 💖💖💖
I think the gadget takes to much time. I can do it much faster without it I think. Fun watching you though. The bowling pen is something your son will love. What a wonderful idea. Have a great week coming.
Omg!!! I can’t believe you have those blingy shoe laces! I literally have them and are putting them on my Sketcher Shape Ups that I bought because of your video!!!xoxoxo
Happy birthday to your son! What a great gift you got him!! Hope you all have fun when he opens it!! And as always, loved your video today and am looking forward to the next one!!
First....Happy Birthday to your son! Hope it's the best birthday yet! 🎂🎉🥳Now down to business...I saw that apparatus at Target the last time I was there. My immediate thought was that is a recipe for disaster! So thanks for the review! I have used Madison Reed to color my hair since Co_vid. Nothing fancy. Just covering my greys! Now to your cooking channel...Subscribed and Loving It!!!! Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication! I look forward to Sunday's and something coooool!
Glade you bought this so we dont have to. This thing makes coloring your hair WAY MORE COMPLICATED than it should be. I could have colored my hair by hand and already washed and dried my hair in the time it tool to fumble around with this thing.
Never seen you before, but I subbed - you did so good at explaining the entire process and demonstrating as you went through! Plus, you have a great personality! And happy bday to your son! What a cool gift!
I’m still chuckling over ‘he’s going to pee himself’! You’re a phenomenal mum and person 💚🙏 Nifty money grab idea by L’Oréal but it takes me approximately 5-10 minutes to do my box dye on my waist length hair with a bowl and brush. Clean up is included in that time. I am excited about the recipe book. My family thanks you for the yummy meals and snacks, by the way! Your hair channel is NOT boring. I have a gorgeous at home fringe because of you. Cheers lovely, have a brilliant week.
Always ❤❤ Brittnee, this hair color tool seems to be a very expensive L’Oréal box kit with added mess! I would spend $15.00 on drugstore box color and have many more options of color.
HI BRITTNEE…I just discovered your channel and I love it…binge watching and having a blast. Also subscribed to your other 2 channels as well. Thx for all the great content. You make me laugh
The point of DIY hair color is to save money!!!! Oh my. Lol I'd much rather have a box color tube and comb any day. Thanks for the upload. Happy BDay to your son. 🎉🎉
Thanks, Brittnee! I have been wanting to purchase this product but I had reservations because (of course) you can ONLY use L'oreal color cartridges. Plus, I thought, 'can it really be that effective"? But your demonstration was great! (Your hair does look beautiful, I know it's hard to see when you're filming. And I love that you used TWO colors!) You're adorable and I truly appreciate your honest assessment. I know it's pricey, but with my long hair, I would still pay more at the salon or for the high-end color I use at home. (Maybe one day, they'll invent cartridges we can fill ourselves I can add my favorite brand?) I do think L'Oreal will expand its color palette, I am sure consumers will demand it. That said, I'm going to go ahead and buy this device. I hope I'm as successful using it as you been! I'm now subscribed to this channel and I will hunt down your cooking channel and subscribe there, too. You rock!!! xoxo
I have asked so many of my friends to review this. They never did. Thank you. I don’t dye my hair but I was thinking about it because I’m starting to get grey hairs and it’s freaking me out. I would never dye my own hair, though.
Thanks for the review. I don't color my hair anymore, but I don't think I would use this. It looks bulky and definitely not cost effective. I think I could apply color faster than this, or could have on my short hair.
Idk bout this! But Brit HELP you’re the only person I trust 😂 I’m blonde blonde and want to go back to my roots. I want to hyped “bronde” color. Make a DIY for us at home who don’t wanna pay salon $$$ PLZ❤
I am so sorry to be this person I can't use L'Oreal products. It kind of irritates me that they've gone through all this work to become this "eco-friendly" company but here we are almost 2025 and they are still not cruelty free, the tool itself is a really cool concept I have polymyositis so very bad damage in the muscles in my upper arms, something like this definitely would save me a lot of arm work but the fact that I'd have to use it with L'Oreal products only is a big no.
coud you maybe mix up another brand and put it in the attachment used for rinsing it? where the water went I mean. I know they said not to but could you, do ya think?
I stumbled across your channel when I heard about the colorsonic - thank you!! I'd thought it might be a cleaner, handy way to touch up my grey roots or add a few highlights in between salon coloring. I've found "doing the box" to be a huge mess & I always seem to get the wrong haircolor. The last time I tried it, I opened a window with just my fingertip... and when I got out of the post-color shower? Big old brown blotch on the white window. I had to paint it - what a pain!!! Anyway, just wanted to thank you thank you for this video. I'm not getting the colorsonic tho it's much less than the salon. Seems like it's still a stinky messy PITA. Love your video style & am going to check out your other vids. And drink more water!!
If you like bowling you may want to check at your local bowling alley, my local bowling alley sells bowling pins for $1 a piece, they're used and they're a little beat up but if you really just want it for a decoration piece it's worth it
I look forward to watching your videos they make me laugh so hard.. I don't do that often.. I'm 53 with virgin hair so I live vicariously through you.. happy birthday to your son.. I look forward to watching your cooking video with a new recipe from the cook book..
Thank you so much for this review I appreciate it cause I was gonna go buy it but this is looks like a pain in the ass to use. I hate dying my hair myself, this would make me go all grey 😂

The entire point of this device is to eliminate the need to section your hair into quarters. If you use it as designed, there is no need to use your fingers to work it into your hair. So I somewhat feel like this video did not give it a good try. This video reminds me of photographers who are unfamiliar with cameras with eye detect autofocus trying to override what the camera is doing and take control the autofocus themselves, thus negating the purpose of buying a camera with eye detect autofocus in the first place. By sectioning your hair and then lifting strands you are preventing the device from working as intended. It is designed so that you can simply comb through your hair. No sectioning or manually lifting of strands needed. This is extremely helpful to folks with gray roots who have a difficult time getting the upper back crown of their hair evenly saturated. Wld love to see you perhaps give this a second try, using it as it was designed to be used? Seems only fair. Love your videos, but this one was a bit of a miss for me. This device cld save folks money over time, as now we can get the backs of our head and not have to pay a salon every 3-6 weeks.

Omg! I had an anxiety attack just watching this! Thank you for ensuring I never make the mistake of impulse buying one of these ❤!
Ditto! I'd put it on my "Maybe Buy during Black Friday Week" but now SO glad for this video. I'm going to avoid it - what a mess & waste!
These videos are 100% getting me through this stressful day 🩷🩷 I ain’t doing A THING but laying in bed watching you 🥰 All day… it’s a problem. Love you, girl 💕 Keep keeping it real..
Fun to watch but not wasting my time or money
We always have to watch you Sunday 😊😂
I think I'll stick to my box dye. It actually seems easier than that contraption.
That bowling pin was the coolest thing ever! I cant imagine how excited your son will be...record his reaction! ❤
Love this review. To the point, goes over everything and not an hour long! I can’t wait to watch more of your videos.
I absolutely enjoyed this video, because you make this fantastically fun. I hope your child has a fantastic birthday. I, also, hope you have an amazing week.🥰🤗🥰
thank you so much! see you next sunday!!!
That tool is a hard pass.❤❤
I don't see how this is any easier than a bowl or squeeze bottle. Figuring out how much developer to use can't be hard enough to justify this.
PLEASE do the Crab recipe asap!!! I would ❤to see your sons face when he opens his bowling pin from his favorite RUclipsr but I know you like to keep them out of social media so just tell us in the next video how excited he was!

I will let you know how it goes!!! it's at the end of the month (his birthday!)
Was having a bad night. Thank you for making me smile.
may your day be much better today!!
WE LOVE OUR BRITNEEEEE 😊
Omg. This device is useless. I'll stick to buying colouring tubes and developer in a bowl with a brush.
I swear I can not get enough of you. Your humor your therapy keep it up beautiful you are amazing ❤
I think the gadget takes to much time. I can do it much faster without it I think. Fun watching you though. The bowling pen is something your son will love. What a wonderful idea. Have a great week coming.
It's not worth the $130 for sure. Thank you for being here!!
I love you and love all your videos. I could listen to you talk all day long. You make me smile ❤
thank you!!!
I cannot see how this is easier or quicker than just dying your hair the traditional way
She didn't do it the way L'Oreal says to do it.

Glade you bought this so we dont have to. This thing makes coloring your hair WAY MORE COMPLICATED than it should be. I could have colored my hair by hand and already washed and dried my hair in the time it tool to fumble around with this thing.
This seems like a pointless gimmick that seems like more work than doing it manually, even for $0 it doesnt seem worth it

Is loreal on crack ? Lol omg this was painful to watch u have so much patience!!! 😅
Could you test it with putting color into the water dispenser? Because I think this would be good for applying hair glosses.
That thing would stress me tf out! 😂
Thank you so much for this review I appreciate it cause I was gonna go buy it but this is looks like a pain in the ass to use. I hate dying my hair myself, this would make me go all grey 😂
i used mine & did my whole head just combing from front to back , one color only, it was so easy
Could you do a video on growing out natural gray/white while adjusting the previously colored hair as it goes through the transitioning? I have been coloring my gray/white roots since I was 21 and now after 40 yrs of dyed black hair I stopped coloring. Through the process I have gotten impatient and bleached my last bit of black which brassed out...I watch all your videos and followed your direction for toning so I have it non brassy but not a color I would like. Maybe you could do a series on transitioning dyed to natural....I am probably not alone in seeking your wisdom on this subject❤ Thanks in advance for all your educational entertaining videos!
I would never buy that system. I color my hair using Sally Beauty products. I like their variety of shades to choose from. I don't enjoy the coloring process, but the results are worth the time it takes.
I’ve been waiting for the device that does your makeup like the one in the movie The 5th element.
Is it really that hard to mix from Sally’s…just put on glasses 1:1 or 1:2 usually 😮
Could you possibly put color and developer in the water tube and use a different brand of hair, color and developer?
lol it’s like those “pod” juice machines that everyone figured out you could just squeeze the bag with your hands. not green either, just cheaply made/marketed.
She says you can’t tell how much product you have left in a color cartarage but right on the wand is a FILL STATUS bar in 25% increments…so the wand has a gas tank indicator. This is a great product for ROOT TOUCH-UPS. It makes that process much cleaner and more surgical. Using a brush always gets other hairs and product application isn’t always uniform.
Things I never thought I’d see in my lifetime:
LOL amen!
Have you ever tried L'Oreal Magic Root Cover Up Spray? I was going to try it but I called L'Oreal and asked could I use a hot flat iron or curling iron on my hair after using it and they said no. So I won't be trying it.
How did this contraption ever make it to production?
Hella complicated and the hot roots, it's a no go.
I almost bought this the other day and I’m glad I didn’t 😊
I’d never trust this with my thick crazy hair, I would end up repainting my bathroom 😂..
Just Noo, but thanks for the show and trying it out ❤
That is way more work than what it is worth.
Can you please do an easy at home video to put some highlights in my hair, DIY, a little chunky? 🎉❤❤❤
I’m on my second cup of coffee. I used water to make it ☺️ does that count? Happy birthday to your sweet boy!
so this is like nespresso pods but for hairs- it is a matter of time and other companies will be making "compatible" cartritges.
Yeah a stylist would charge about 100-175 for an all over color..I’ll stick with a salon💕 Thank you for testing this though!!
😂 you’re so FUN!
