Funny you said he’s a fire and from Hillsborough County. Now I know who is making my leather patches. Lol. Thanks for the info. I’ve been wondering who I was making my patches but now I found him. Wow it’s a small world
funny stuff, yeah I myself just added a laser engraving machine for leather patches, about to launch the product in next videos coming but glad you found your guy! thanks for the reply
Hey bro on your lower platten is the rubber supposed to come off? I just got mine it seems to be glued on one side but the other sids don’t line up and is not really connected?? Maybe its normal ?
Is the platen on your press a different shape, like maybe skinnier, than the standard stahls or knight platen. Most platens ruin my 6 panel hats. thanks
Have a question, do you have to have the heated bottom platen to apply the leather patches to the hats? i Was looking at the Wala auto open hat press and it has the same shape and style bottom platen like the IQ360 so not suppose to get the crease, but the bottom does not heat up. I am a disabled Firefighter and deiced to do mostly leather patches on hats for extra income. i am just trying to see if worth spending the extra $1k on the IQ360 vs only $450 on the Wala. just wanted to ask your opinion, since you do use one. thank you in advance for any help.
only the 360 IQ from stahls has the heated bottom platen ..which is definitely what you will need to do leather, embroidered and also flex style 3d emblems ...is it worth it, this was a question i asked myself, imo yes it was worth it as that is 3 more style hats you can do for customers not limiting yourself do what you can do. If you want professional results then buy the real deal, also having the digital programming is priceless on the IQ for different products youll press. Hurry up and buy it tho cause Stahls yet again is raising the price on the press for the 4th time this year in 2023 itll cost 1850.... I think they are taking advantage of its popularity, use my affiliate link in my description if or when you decide to purchase if you have any other questions email me
I'm thinking about buying this machine. I thought there was a big white blanket looking material that you used while pressing hats on this machine? Where can I get the material to use so I don't get scortch marks on my hats?
currently you can register on my website for custom patches and DTF transfer when you do you will receive $10 in bonus points to apply towards your purchase
Maybe you believe those are leather patches but they're not they'll leatherette fake leather I know cuz I make them myself and I know where they come from
Impressive company history!!! Love it. From a retired NJ LEO, getting into the business.

These are not leather but they are leatherette. We make them in house and we also make real leather hats. Let me know if we can help you.
