Helo, Whats size the needle you use, 0.2 or 0.3? And whats the psi when painting the white colour after priming? Look so smooth when painting the white colour
For the over spray of white does it have to be white? If I want a red color do I overspray with the red over the black and white or do I start with black to red to red with 20%more thinner?
Good idea, I think first step after primer starts with dark red or brown, step 2 use white or pink and step 3 use red with 20% more thinner, it would be great.
After primer start with dark red(or red+black 10%) or brown. Step 2 use bright red you can mix red and white for the desired shade. And step 3 with same color in step 2.
This video isn’t helpful I put primer and mr color and it’s not coming out of my airbrush, before I put it in the air brush is it supposed to be wet or something? I’m a beggine
Thank you quick 2 min video on something that it takes some 15 mins to explain. 💯💯💯💯
These easy steps are helpful for beginners hoping to see more of your videos GODBLESS you
What psi you use for your air brush? Do we need to adjust psi when doing shading layers?
I saw someone on Facebook creat something similar to this, it’s very impressive
Great tutorial 👍👍
Thank you :D
Would you mind sharing what PSI you were spraying your Mr Hobby paints at? I keep getting thick layers that cover underlying details.
You have to use more thinner
Im new in painting gunpla, do you primer coat first before coating it to the shade you desire?
i still have so much to learn.
Thank you very much! No my models won't look like toys
Wouldn't you get a similar effect by making the base white color, then highlight the edges/grooves black, then the white overspray?
I think its more control over shading if he started with gray
Like the 'blur' source comes from the white, instead of the gray.
@@dambrony810 Interesting perspective.
The video is very clear and simple, thank you! I will try this method
great videos please make more tips.
Thank you. If I'm free, I'll come back.
@@customtips3207what psi do you used?
Thank you for making this tutorial. I have always wanted to achieve this bit never knew how.
Helo, Whats size the needle you use, 0.2 or 0.3? And whats the psi when painting the white colour after priming? Look so smooth when painting the white colour
Use 0.5 all process but can use 0.2-0.4 I focus on trigger control, White after priming I use 12-15 psi and after that use 20 psi
Thanks for showing it steps by steps
can you do this shading without a airbrush like a diffrent method

Great little tutorial. Sub’d.
Cool man
How long do you wait in-between coats? I'm so impatient
You can use a hair dryer if your that impatient but I just wait a day
yeah 1 days for sure.
What ratio are you mixing the primers in step 1?
God, i feel like such and idiot, wondering why I couldn't get better preshading effect.... I hadn't been further thinning my paint for final coat
How many psi did you use on step 2 and 3?
When you shade do you take out the spray tip? Thanks
Yes, but you can use another airbrush cap that makes you see the spray coming out of the airbrush.
How is the thinner + paint ratio you use for the White color?
Amazing !
Excellent tutorial. For small parts you need a very steady hand with the airbrush. What airbrush did you use and what’s the needle size? 0.3? Thanks
in this clip is just no brand airbrush and it is 0.5 but focus on trigger control
@@customtips3207, thanks! I imagined that, but wanted to be sure. You sure show great trigger control in the video! 😊
@@natalebabbo-gunplaanddioramas Thank you :D
I wonder if this can be done with aerosol cans. I don't have an airbrush.
Try post shading with powders
Psi?
Beautiful if using an airbrush
How to get the 20% thinner computation?
use feelings don't be serious But don't let it be too liquid.
Just a few question if i want to make others color (red with shading), how i have to do? (I'm planning to make sword impulse gundam custom).
After primer start with dark red(or red+black 10%) or brown. Step 2 use bright red you can mix red and white for the desired shade. And step 3 with same color in step 2.
My brush does not spray that smoothly 😅

This video isn’t about how to use a spray gun, it’s specifically about how to do shading with a spray gun
