    Jeff, keep that prop and when your near a dealer ask if they can supply you with a new bush to push into your old prop and then you will have a spare prop, it's generally the rubber that fails and you should be able to replace the bush, the dealer may have to do this for you though, All the best, Al

      Unfortunately for this model , Yamaha doesn’t offer the bushings separate. That would have been the best fix for sure !!

    I noticed you installed the cotter pin 90 degrees out, shear force is meant for the head of the cotter pin to be in the slot. Should be ok, but suggest next time to install the head of the cotter pin in the grove of the castle nut. Great Vid thanks for sharing :)

    Another great episode! -- QUESTION -- You guys have made me think more and more about sailing around the world. There are some guys sailing on 30' Cape Dories or Alberg 30 (sailing triteia and Sam Holmes Sailing) but I think it would be better in something a bit bigger like your sailboat. My question is this, have you ever had leaks from the hull deck joints or anything like that - I know you had some condensation issues but that is not a leak?

    • @sailingjoco
      @sailingjoco  4 месяца назад

      Hey Coleen ! We’ve helped bring you over to the dark side have we? ⛵️👌😂
      We enjoy our 35 foot - Joco has an awesome layout - but wouldn’t go any smaller for two of us.
      Another great feature of the HR352 is the hull itself has been brought up over the toerail so there isn’t really any joint to get leaks at 👌👌
      Our condensation problem was just because it was in the winter time and we didn’t have the diesel heater working at the time to dry the air out. This is a very common thing on all boats

      @@sailingjoco LOL...yes, leaning to the dark side. So if you were to do it again, what size would you think is the ideal perfect size to aim for?

    • @sailingjoco
      @sailingjoco  4 месяца назад

      It really depends on the layout honestly. You gotta get in the boat and see how it is for you.
      Initially we were looking for 40+ but ….

    Can I ask what you think is the best horse power rating for your dinghy motor?

    • @sailingjoco
      @sailingjoco  4 месяца назад +1

      We have an 8hp for this dinghy , and that’s the max it can handle
