got a Damascus version a long time ago, never failed me, the spring is surprisingly strong, lovely little knife.

I’m also carrying a launch 4 and launch 7 today happy National Knife Day!! I carry mine just dropped in my pocket instead of clipping it to my pocket and I find myself reaching for it most times.
Kershaw does have a smaller clip (I can't remember now) that I switched to and it is a deep carry clip. Works well to hide it very well.

@@phoenix4ever367 The clip was directly from Kershaw, I just can't remember what model it was originally on.
I didn’t like the clip either so I just took it off and put the screws back in. It’s a backup so I just drop it into the pocket. Good little knife though been having it since it came out.

The 4 is "neat" I just like the 9 a little more. The 9 has some belly. The 4 is a bit smaller though so it has that going for it.
Edit: Love the aqua/green of the 4, the black/stonewash of the 9 is 2nd place.
I have a Launch 4. Great little knife! I now have 3 of the Launch series. All well made.
I just picked up a cheap launch 2 and might skip the launch 4 n get a god father next

I have deep carry clips on two of my auto kershaws and the launch 4 I left the regular clip because it stands up taller then the knife when you put a DC on it. But the 7-8 look great and work perfect.

Got these for my groomsmen and requested deep carry and kershaw sent them over. The deep carry they send are slightly shorter. Only regret, not getting one for myself.

Hmm, interesting... so it's CA legal due to the less than 2inch blade size? This might be really fun for a 5th pocket knife.
That clip will keep me from losing it when on duty, and gives something to grip onto when opening it.

I like the term "easy open", for example if you have sausage fingers, or NBA hands. You can't really finagle the little post to open it. I like it. QUESTION. How sensitive is the button for pocket carry?

I've got a launch 9 (and a few other Ca legal autos). That suckered really snaps out. The deep carry on it is half the size on that 4. But thanks for your review. I think I'll order a 4 now
I have had one of these in my bladehq cart for like a week. I want it but at $99 its like $20 outside what I want to pay. However they made a red anodized one if they had that one I would get it.
Just ordered my launch 4 have an old decommissioned fatback with a deep carry clip hopefully it can work 🤞🏾
Update :the fatback deep carry clip fits perfectly! I love the kick on this little box cutter 👌🏾💯

My launch 12 in a similar blade size kicks super hard for such a small blade. Not very "friendly" lol
I love this little knife. Going on 2 years. I have the all black version. The pocket clip is awful but like everything else.
