My heart swells with love and pride. I don't think it would be possible to love this man more than I do. Mike, you have done so many reactions and I have enjoyed them all. But this one, watching your kind, gentle face, tops them all. ❤
This was great to see, the highs and the lows, throughout it all John always comes through. In this we see different sides of John, just an ordinary bloke with so much talent. John really can do anything, an incredible performer with I think the greatest and most versatile male vocals of all time, he can ride a horse like John Wayne, he can herd cattle, and in the midst of a harrowing drought he can even make it rain, John is a god. Great reaction to a great man.
We Aussies and Kiwi's really are blessed to have had John in our lives. He is truly loved, respected and admired by at least 5 generations in most Aussie families. John is a 1 off, and we were so lucky to be witnesses to his talented brilliance. We love you John, now and always ❤
John is an open book and such a genuine, down to earth bloke with massive talent. We just love him so much - John is definitely the V.O.I.C.E. and I don't know if we will ever see a more ordinary, extraordinary person in our lifetime. Thanks Mike ❤🎉
That was so lovely, had me tearing up over here. This man is loved for so much more than the music, he's an true inspiration. Thanks so much for this reaction, made my day, and thanks Shieldsie (don't know how you spell it) for the request. ✌❤
Great story , John’s just an all round good bloke that we Aussies can identify with . His music and inspiration will live on forever and finally the rest of the world can see and hear The Voice through channels like yours Mike. He has always been in our lives , in either music , stage shows , tv shows . We kinda got used to him being around . His recent health issues have really scared the life out of all us Aussies . To think of life without Farnsey is well unthinkable . I had not seen this doco before and I was riveted . Thx Shieldsy Thx Mike 😊
Nothing fake about John....one of the most down to earth humans on the planet. Thanks so much Mike....I think we'll have to make you an 'Honorary Aussie' soon lol. God bless ya mate.
Thanks Shieldsie for requesting that 60 minutes interview. Particularly at this time in history. Mateship & empathy that lead to doing good things for others is what the whole world needs more of right now, 25-30 years on. Ironic that Ms Dionne Warwick just ( or just finished) touring Australia & what was her big hit back in the day? Burt Bacharach’s “What The World Needs Now” ( is love, sweet love”. Plenty of that in this story on John Farnham. Love, gratitude and humility.
Lucky us, cause many of us grew up listening to that voice, feeling the love compassion of this man, laughing at his goofball antics. Aussies have been, & still are, very lucky.
Thanks Mike. This was great 👍 😊❤❤ Such a great interview that hopefully showed you a little more why we love John so much 🥰 Am I the only one who would love to hear what he tries with his voice in the shower? Not in a creepy way!! 😅 Considering what he does on stage that always blows us away, I can't imagine what he doesn't try 🤔😂 Take care Mike and Farnsey Family. Oh how we love this man!!! 🙂❤❤
He’s such a beautiful human being. He offered his song, “The Voice” to the referendum on the giving the indigenous people of Australia a Yes voice to have a say in the constitution. His generosity & foresight into seeing the benefit this would have on the generational effect of 200+ years of Aborigines losing their land is deep. It takes someone who has struggled and looks into their own soul to see that such a simple step could have had such a profound effect on this nation. Sadly the opposition party decided to simply take the divisive path as a simple win lose outcome. There is some outstanding research on generational harm out of Queensland university on generational stress caused, especially to male child whether black white or whatever. So this vote would have truly have helped heal that scar.

Shieldsy - but it is what is no problems mate 👍🏼
John still refers to his wife as "The bride". I think his mother-in-law is "The dragon". All three laugh their socks off.
❤😂 Brilliant Aussie sense of humour! ❤️🇦🇺👍
I think now you realise why we LOVE him so much.
Every time you react to a Farnsey song your numbers go up.

Last saw him in 2018ish wow, such a performer.

John a typical Aussie
Most of our entertainment industry like this
Because they've not given a free ride
You work hard to be successful and life and work like everyone else
Until you make it
This is why most are very humble and will always jump to help if possible
Because they never forgotten how hard was before fame and kniw how bless they are now
As John wife said it like being able to give something back to people who supported them and allow their lifestyle
We have a thing called tall poppy syndrome
This is when you ego gets out of balance with societies expectation
Society will drag you down until you become humble again
It happens in many different ways from not attending functions
To bad reviews to telling them to their face why if come across them
Most people will not get in their faces when they're in public
This is why they can live a reasonable normal life even as stars
Most will still talk to you or have a photo if asked politely and not interrupting what their doing
In fact most if notice you looking at them especially youngsters they'll asked them do they want a photo with them
As they realise the person either to scared to asked or respecting their space so they'll make the contact first
It's pretty unique this goes even for our sports music entertainment people
It's the respect on both sides is why everyone get what they want and freedom's in society as a normal person for them
If they can't stop and take a picture or talk they politely tell you and say could you give your information to their assistant
Then will organise something wether they call or send some merchandise personalised
I think it's pretty unique in Australia 🇦🇺
Like now we have international tennis players here and loving it
The lady said when asked how she finding being in Australia 🇦🇺
She it's grate finished my match went back to hotel then down to beach just walked around
It was so relaxing and she well known player
But like I said people respect other freedom's doesn't mean people didn't say hello/ G'day
How you finding things but would've been short and sweet and advice where they might want to visit
It's a pretty relaxed environment but like every city always have to be cautious as not everyone friendly
But generally your fine and have to be pretty unlucky to run into to much trouble
Yeah it hurt John alot lose of Glen
There's another that goes through the friends ship from high to lows
As you heard Glen and wife sacrificed everything for john's fame
Unfortunately Glen had problems with government taxation
They decided to make example of him and jail him
That's where John part standing by Glen as people told him to dump him as a manager
But john wouldn't have it and soon as Glen was out they where off again doing what they did best
Niether looked back and both their families are in twined as their kids grew up together and used to all hang out at each other's homes
But they where more like brother's then friends they even say it in the show
Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
Thanks for this, I remember watching it back in the day, I think 60 minutes should do the next instalment 😊
❤ Happy New Year, Bern! ❤️👋🥳
