  • I make little videos like this for my students all the time. So why not drop some music in there and share it with the world at large? This is a delivery biker design prompt for a digital painting class. I wanted him to be this huge beefy blue collar hitman who carries his little electro moto in suitcase mode. Handy for when you've got a hit across town, ya know?
This is a typical process I use for quickly knocking a design together. I had a little something going... but it wasn't functional at all. Just an "attitude sketch." So I dropped the opacity and designed right on top of it to find better versions of the shapes. I used a big chunky brush to avoid noodling on details instead of focusing on bigger goals. Any time something was just straight up not working, I'd jump off to the side and concept out a new version loose and quick. Then drag it over and get back into it.
I also stop for a moment halfway through and redesign the bike- paying close attention to make sure it can actually fold up and be carried as intended.
At the very end, I shrunk the brush down a little and do a real quick tighten pass- using brush smoothing to make it super easy on myself. Ready to paint up next class 🤘

Thanks! I have a long history of burly guys with huge arms on tiny motorcycles. Made it into a whole tshirt company for a minute there ha.
