any landing after which you are able to get out of the cockpit is a good landing
I can actually imagine that after all the stress of battle, real pilots could an would forget simple things like putting gear down. I imagine that, by the end of a mission, their minds were probably shot.
I see similar things while running drills in the engine room of my submarine. Alarms blaring, reports flying fast and furious, plant parameters swinging wildly, and someone forgets to shut a valve. Of course, this is why we practice and drill, to build the correct habits, including breaking out the book to verify all actions complete once time permits.
Ever since the introduction of landing gear in combat(Spain, I-16), combat pilots have been forgetting the undercarriage.

Nice! Love to see those 109's in action.
Truly living on the edge: the landing gear fully down only seconds before the wheels hit the ground.
This is quite strange, I live about 15 minutes outside Worthing so hearing all the names, Ford, Littlehampton, Worthing etc. being said on a video is weird.
It's also surreal to see how an attack on what is basically my home would've been carried out by the Luftwaffe, as Worthing was hit with bombs during the war including a V-1 flying bomb which luckily landed in some allotments and resulted in a few damaged houses and only a few injuries.
Fires up the ol' imagination as to what it must've been like.
Also the road layout looks strangely accurate? I'm unsure if that's just a coincidence or if they actually used real road data for the cities but that crescent on the seafront is there in real life, and there's a park further along the seafront that matches one in the game.
My mind is actually slightly blown by this revelation.
Great one. It's a shame you can't add some sort of "God mode" fast addition in video at the end where we could see movements and fights of ALL aircrafts in your squad, to fully understand what happened to whom, how and where, but I know it's a tall order.
Maybe in some epic battle.. All the best, always a pleasure watching your vids
Really exposes the 109s biggest problem, short legs which without a fuel tank does not leave much of a margin for dogfighting. The 109 here is operating at what’s nearby it’s maximum limits of gas

At the start I googled octeville and saw it was in the vicinity of Cherbourg. Then I saw map in video, Turns out there is another Octeville near Le Havre. Good to see using the same name again and again aint just a Jock thing haha! I also googled Worthington and saw it was near Birmingham, no way your Me's will reach there, so Im assuming your meaning to say just Worthing which is on the south febsville coast?
I'd love to see a Malta campaign of Wolfpack trying to defend bombers or spitfire defense of malta

Wolfpack all your series are great, but I do hope you will maybe bring back one of my personal favorite series. The Il-2 Tank Crew Multiplayer, cause you never got around to play either the Panther or SU-122/152.

The Jagdstaffel leader was very slow on decision making, mental translation of orders on time may have been the issue. Very good deflection shooting on your first encounter. All in all a productive sortie, but more aggressive response from flight leader may have increased the kill total.
Is your Staffelkapitan Mephisto? I feel like I recognise his voice from when I used to fly in his squadron in ACG. Is Wiesel still around?
It would be nice if there was an after action review at the end of these videos.

@@Wolfpack345Would you ever be interested in doing a solo 1946 campaign? Graphics are a little dated now but the variety in planes and mods more than makes up for it imo
i just wonder what is the different between F4 and G2 from perfomance and roughtness, i feel F4 faster than G2.
Low altitude, f4 is faster and more agile. G2 can really climb well and do great on high altitudes.
Will there be Soviet Moscow or Stalingrad campaings like this one?
I believe the next planned one is a pre-post D-day campaign
Our previous campaign in FTC was in Kuban with Yak-1b and IL-2

I usually enjoy your videos but this one was quite boring to watch. Almost no action. I get that it is fun to go on sorties with other people but it leaves the video very dry to watch. This is not a complaint about the video as it was put together quite well as usual. Just like I said, a little dry because of the lack of action. Other than that I very much enjoy your videos. You have an excellent handle on flying and the jargon that comes along with it. I have also noticed that you are very knowledgeable in identifying aircraft and and warships from around the world. Keep up the excellent work. I eagerly await your next video. Cheers.
This is so gay and childish but yet so fun to watch. Who has the time to get to know a flight game this well. Set up a PC to handle it, all the wicked settings to run it. What life is lived??
I don't know, people who enjoy the challenge of mastering the flight characteristics as well as the challenge to get the cooperation within their team working in a rich historically accurate setting instead of spending time binging Netflix series maybe?
