Amazingly impressive for a thirteen year old girl! No one in my college public speaking class could have done any better (except for the professor). I believe that Leyla has great things in her future. She is off to an impressive start.
Great presentation! Fantastic example of the importance on non-verbal communication. I am very happy to see younger generations speak about this topic. It is extremely important to teach this in schools as communication is important for life success personally and professionally. Having said that some of the things she is saying are not scientifically proven so be carful of that you believe or read.
Howsoever be it, let us learn to appreciate one another, so many 13 yo, may not be able to do this. It takes courage. Appreciate people, atleast for once, without the least criticism. Thank you.
Oh man thank you, I didn't intend to criticize your criticism or light joke, I know a little of it was jokish, but what I really wanted to say in a good way is, Why can't we just avoid the flaws we found and just be all Good with her. :-)
You're absolutely right! Kids are wonderful. We need to do our utmost to keep them as pure as we can in this corrupt system, that they have to live in. They have so much to contend with, peer pressure, to fit in with the in crowd. Drugs, alcohol, etc. Thanks to Jehovah God Almighty, that it won't be this way always. For He is going to usher in a new government, where nothing but peace and righteousness, will abound. I hope to meet you there, my friend.
Gail Ford that's lovely Gail. You have an innocent soul. Yes god is great. Let's hope kids retain the purity. Sorry if I hurt you unknowingly. You are not corrupt. You are a kind soul. Rare person. :) ty
Thanks Leyla for the effective lecture, for a while I was thinking that non verbal communication should not be applied in USA. Maybe because of my major. Thanks for reminding me.
My vocal chords are ripped. I’ve been advised to keep shtum for 3 weeks! This is has informed well! Thank you 🙂 P.S. I’m sorry if my smile offends you! 😅
I love everything about this video it really changed the way I see communication, from eye contact to gestures. keep up the great work, btw you are very beautifu. no offense intended.
Peace sign verses fingers facing the other way around is not offensive in Australia. The Peace Sign means Peace her, but turn you fingers around and it is offensive as it is the same as giving someone the bird.
Impressive at only 13. Good video for people who know absolutely nothing about nonverbal communication. A joke for anyone looking for real / practical information.
Interesting talk but it was almost painful to watch, i could feel your nervousness but the info is great. Also alpha members of any group dont always stand straight, they use there status to act stand or sit however they wish. if u do this talk again ( as i hope you do as its good ) sit or stand on the stage how u feel comfortable, its your talk dont feel forced in to a standard thats not you, it would improve your confidence and make u at ease thus improving your performance
she's moving around and using her arms to display how she feels as she tells the story, that's the point -- body language speaks louder than what she's actually saying
slam mija i agree but in this talk both speach and body are saying differant things, so can come across disingenuous in places. im not ridiculing her, its a comment on how she's portraying her msg. all your hearing is what shes saying and your missing the larger picture of the story of what her body is saying in conjunction. And body language is less about arm movement and walking arround its timing and pace, hesitations or not, its very little things that you read in groups as a whole to paint the masterpeice. But i can tell from your comment your not up to speed on that yet
Did you read some of the comments here? Looks like she was just 13 years old at the time of this speech, I too found that she was being very shy and nervous, but I appreciated her courage and efforts (which were very visible,) to me she feels like a very nice person, so considering her age, I'd say she did just amazing :)
UltiminiumX i agree i takes great courage and she did do amazingly well my first comment was tips as i think she should do more!! but the feild she is commenting on is more then critical and without others commenting and helping with critiques she wont get very far
Well ...."people using more body language come across as warm"...to her as she is Italian. To northern people, on the other hand, southern europeans appear to be loud, impolite and not to be taken really seriously
Amazingly impressive for a thirteen year old girl! No one in my college public speaking class could have done any better (except for the professor). I believe that Leyla has great things in her future. She is off to an impressive start.
Very impressive, to be so confident when you're just 13yo!!!! Some people way less confident even when they are adults!!!
Anna Gorshkova its by training and involving

Wow! so confident for a 13 years old. Amazingly Impressive. i Like it and I like you Leyla, Keep it up.

So eye opening- I learned a bit of these skills through elements of performance.
Amazingly impressive. At first I thought she was grown. Keep it up young lady.
Gail Ford yes but when she giggled in between I understood that she is not yet corrupted like us kids are great

Gail Ford happy new year 🎂 Gail
THIS WAS MY BEST FRIEND
Wow! Awesome!
She`s impressive. I ADORE HER. Thankyou Leyla. I have a presentation tomorrow. Very much helpful examples. ^_^
As a Japanese living in the UK no one understands when I smile at bad news in school T_T
Very helpful examples. I'll definitely use them. Thank you.
Thanks Leyla for the effective lecture, for a while I was thinking that non verbal communication should not be applied in USA. Maybe because of my major. Thanks for reminding me.
She did well, although I was disappointed she didn't talk about the musical aspect like it did in the description
Leyla, this is pure gold! Honestly this is amazing, You are so talented, wow, I bet you are doing amazingly at school.
She is 30 years old. We italian people usually mistake 30 for 13 because the sound of both numbers is almost the same for us. Respect her!
she's in my school she's not 30 she's 16 right now
Great job Leyla!! Finally got round to watching it and it was amazing!!! You used tons of good examples and I love your sense of humour!!! 😂😂
13 years old, now that is inspiring
Puyi was a emperor at her age. You must be easily impressed lol
My vocal chords are ripped. I’ve been advised to keep shtum for 3 weeks! This is has informed well! Thank you 🙂
P.S. I’m sorry if my smile offends you! 😅

You should be take Britsh Sign Language (BSL) to teach with who have Nonverbal children very well!
I understood based upon similar words to English
Very talented girl, great job!
I kept saying, "DUH!" I don't need a 13 year old thinking I don't know this already!
She can't be thirteen no way that's impossible
Amazing leyla! Keep up with your work life
Praying God showers you with blessings
Looking forward to work with you in the near future 👋🤞😇🙅♂️🌏🎷❄️🎗🙃
Excellent presentation.
Great job for her age
Jesus christ she looks way over than 13. like way over
Blue Eagle she’s 30, it’s just her accent.
She’s 13. She said “tredici”
Blue Eagle thats what i said
..........I would....lol
amazing Leyla👏 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏good English

conshacor In India peace ✌ sign means two things you need to shit or I need to shit soon.
brava Leyla!!! Complimenti!
Who else got annoyed by the background noise 🙄?
However, great talk.
Smartest 13 yr old ive ever seen
❤️❤️ QUEEN
I got everything, gesturally, up to her name. After that, only the word "communication".
I have a feeling she said 30... not 13. Lol, if so, she might be the oldest looking 13 year old I have ever seen. :o
This. For lots of people who don't speak English as a first language, -ty and -teen sound almost the same and are very easily mistaken for each other.
She said 13. She said “tredici”
She DEFINETLY said 13!
She said tredici anni "thirteen years old"
@@danielmarero334 "tredici anni" means thirteen years old
❤❤❤
She is pretty cool at 13 years old.
Woooppppp go leylaaaaa katzeeeeee😂😻

nice to read your comment, by the way can you analyze this video?
thanks
I am a man AND I FEEL BAD ABOUT IT!! Are we good?
Well ...."people using more body language come across as warm"...to her as she is Italian. To northern people, on the other hand, southern europeans appear to be loud, impolite and not to be taken really seriously
Silence for those who thinks she is 13
why is the "calm down" gesture rude in Pakistan ..?? i m from there n i ve no clue :-p
jasmine 19 I feel it should mean go away or shut up or stop talking. Similarly India is obsessed with the peace sign. It means I need to go to shit.
Its offensive in pakistan to state "calm down" while facing palm down
Awesome baby girl
can I talk to Leyla tacconi about non-communication?
I can not believe a 13 year old is telling me a 30 year old this.. haha.
I think she is 30 it's just the accent
nah i was thirteen and it was the braces that made me sound like that
I actually thought that she wears a nice skirt :D
most 30-year-olds do not have braces so I believe that she was actually 13 lol
en español por favor
Jaime Burbano study english
Man she is so feminine
Just lover her
Do it not hurt or bother u bending yo finger like that
Hope she doesn't get Corona 😬
You do realize this video was uploaded years ago, right?
Totally wrong about smiling or not smiling in the US. Not formal like that.
why lying she is not 13 year
I don't need a 13 year old to tell me how not wear pink at a funnel! Geez!
Not so good
Boring.
