One of the best MAGTF demos I've ever witnessed, and that's going back to the El Toro ones, which were EPIC! That 4-Ship Bug pass/sneak was one of the coolest things I've ever seen at a show!

Had the added benefit of my big brother attending UCI. 97 is when I started coming down for Miramar too. Got to see the transition show with the Big Cat and Hornet ceremony; bittersweet.

Great vid and some awesome footage man this years magtf demo was much better than years in the past it was also cool to see VMFAT-101 Sharpshooters in the MAGTF demo one last time before they get decommissioned
That F-35 sure is a steaming piece of Lockheed. At 5:59, there is a KC-130 and a couple of steaming hunks of Lockheed behind it.. The F-35 uses the boom operator type refueling, with the inlet behind the cockpit. How does a USMC KC-130 refuel a steaming pile of F-35 when the refueling inlet is not a probe and behind the pilot? The F-35 should not be used by anybody, especially the USMC.

I have to agree! I was a little kid during the El Toro days and have only missed one Miramar show since 1997.

This was fun to watch yesterday. My brother lives in Ladera Ranch and his neighbor flew the V-22 Osprey in the show.
