As a military brat in the 90's I remember the heat getting to me, so dad took me to the truck to cool off. After feeling better we stood in the truck bed and watched the show. I don't know if it was the pilot who saw my dad in uniform with this kid alone in the parking lot or part of their flight path, but he buzzed us so low it caused the whole truck to shake. Best day ever, thanks dad.
My sincerest thanks for your service and have full faith that our greatest pilots in all squadrons are ready to answer their call to duty when that time comes.
I grew up less than a mile away from a Navy base in Tennessee where they put on an air show every September, and I remember standing in our driveway and watching the Blue Angels fly in the air show, and during practice the week before. I always loved seeing the Angels, and felt so lucky to have such a great view from our house. Great video. Thanks for bringing back such fun memories! 👍💙✈
I’ve had the pleasure of watching the blue Angels a half a dozen times and every time gives me chills they are unbelievable God bless everyone of them I actually have a poster sign by every blue Angel next to the jet that they fly I’ll have it forever
I missed it. I had a conversation with a guy at a supermarket about the Blue Angel's. I went to 3 air shows and the Thunderbirds were there. I never seen an Angel in person. This show happened two weeks after I saw the guy and he told me they will be at Miramar. I couldn't make it, I hope one day I can see them. Thank you for posting the video. It's the next best thing to being there.
Was there on Sunday the weekend before and it was good to see them again. What’s also cool is #4 has a two seater cockpit. Whoever is in the 2nd seat in #4 definitely enjoyed that ride. Thumbs up to you and the rest of the blue angels and god bless America. 👍🇺🇸
Exceptionally presented, Ground Crew, Airmen, Aircraft and clearly all elite operators in their chosen field. That tight diamond on rotation, impressive! Great camera work too, thanks for posting.
I've always been wanting to see the Blue Angels live but I'm unable too so I have to thank you for your posts. You bring smiles to many of us. TY again Spencer. 😊🤗💕🐈⬛
It take a LOT of skill and training to fly like that. Those guys are excellent pilots, and their crews are equally excellent to maintain those aircraft in excellent condition. I salute all of you!
Had the honor of attending their show and "crews only" dinner at Tucson Air show back in the day...'76 I guess it was, maybe late '75. I crewed an SH-2F LAMPS helo out of Imperial Beach on a static display during the airshow. Great experience I'll cherish forever! I think some if not all were later killed in a practice mishap months later. I cannot express the honor I feel for having met them, and having flown with the greatest pilots that ever served this great nation!
Thank you soo much!! You bring the video to me as is if I was there. truly great work, since i doubt i will be at one again(just old and far away) honestly you bring me to tears as i watch! Thank you Sir!

The Blues certainly did put on an awesome show - and where the hottest aircraft in the air space that day. These newer F/A 18 Super Hornets demonstrated unmatched impressive power, speed and maneuverability all afternoon long... up until that 2 ship F-22 Raptor team showed up.., after the Blues where chocked. The crowd was heading for the exits, but traffic came to a complete stop to watch these Raptors perform. Good to have MCAS Miramar Air Shows back!!!
I have a bias to the USAF Thunderbirds, because I personally know one of the pilots, but in all honesty I love watching the Blue Angels just as much! I really enjoy when the 2 groups fly together.
Very awesome! Wasn't able to go this year. However caught a number of passes over my house by the diamond or solos on Saturday. Also was headed down I-15 on Sunday as the diamond completed the initial loop and flew out over the freeway. The guys in the Super Hornets were a lot safer than many of us on the freeway as some alleged motorists started looking up and not on the road.
I'm 39 years old I've been going to airshow longer than I can remember I seen Blue Angels snowbirds and the Thunderbirds I'm a fan of the Blue Angels but the Thunderbirds I just love their paint scheme with a bird under the bottom of the jet and all in all I love them all even though I'm not flying it's still adrenaline rush to watch them fly ✈ 👏🏿👏🏿

They even had the U-2 spy plane in the air show which is nice. Don’t see those around that much.
After playing DCS, only to realize how hard the stuff these guys are doing. Max respect
Any pilot will tell you sims are harder because you can't rely on your inner ear for feedback. The only advantage for sims is the safety element.
