Anthony Howard Wilson was one of the founders of Factory Records and of the Hacienda. These items in his archive at SIM include:

Wow!, it's amazing how information gets lost over time. A friend and I thumbed to London on May 2nd 1980 and saw Joy Division play. No synths though, which was a shame. That was the night they played Sister Ray (Still got the date wrong) too. I miss 17 year old me ;)
Also, there was a guy from the NME there who spoke to my friend. Didn't even know it was Joy Division on stage.
