Which one's bigger? The Big Rocking Horse or our Tunnel Boring Machine?

South Australia is home to many iconic Big Things - the Big Orange, The Big Galah, The Big Lobster, The Big Rocking Horse, and now we’re adding to the list with our big TBMs.
The Tunnel Boring Machines that we will use to construct the T2D tunnels will be:
- Around 100m in length and 15m in diameter
- The TBMs will be launched and retrieved from purpose-built sites called laydown areas
- The TBMs will be delivered to Adelaide in modules, then assembled and commissioned at the laydown areas.
