Another great video, Dave, well done and thank you. I think the Cross Sport is beautiful - stunning really. But I don't think it stacks up well against the competition. Time will tell, I suppose, but it sure looks like everyone will be chasing Kia and Hyundai for the foreseeable future.
That is a very nice looking SUV... I’ve seen a few of the Atlas around town and they do grab your eye. I think they are just a little more substantial than some of the other vehicles out there. Now it could just be Hershey that was winning me over -

I just purchased the SEL V6 R-Line. For the price, the ambient lighting should have been standard or at least an option!! Bumbed about that.. Other than that, I LOVE IT!!! Was looking to get the RR Evoque. But as a mom, the leg room (w/tall kids) and cargo space was a no brainer!!🙃
I guess the 'me' car will have come after the kids are off to college/have their own vehicle!!🤷🏽♀️🥰

Are the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Cherokee models about the same size in the 2nd row and cargo area compared to the VW, or just the GC?
Only the Grand Cherokee compares to the VW CrossSport the Cherokee is a smaller class of vehicle

Why design and build a vehicle that's apparently just good enough ? Why not name it the VW Meh ? How about building a vehicle that would crush your competition in your vehicle segment. Mediocrity. But hey, big enough in the back for 2 mtn bike and a sleeping bag. ;) Kind of insulting to the motoring public it seems to me. Great review though as usual Dave.
VW has been about mediocrity for years now. Not sure what they're thinking. Always just plain vanilla. Now the cheapest interiors out there. Chrysler products have higher quality interiors. How sad is that.
