I agree with his pick of king bowser to be fair. Gusty garden is legendary, but its a bit overdone now. This song actually feels like a boss fight instead of some playdate like some other bossthemes in the series and i love it for that.

The credits theme for Super Mario Galaxy is phenomenal. So beautiful and gives me so much nostalgia and tears of joy. The feeling of finally 100% completing the game after 8 years made me so overjoyed and made me look fondly of the memories.
For Galaxy, I'm really partial to the theme for when you wake up on the tiny introductory/tutorial planet at the very start of the game (just after Bowser steals the castle). Especially when you get the little additional accompaniment when you start chasing the star bunny.
Just because the main theme is iconic it doesn't make it objectively the best song in that game. I can think of plenty of songs from the rest of the series that I like much better.
From now on this is my favorite song ranking video. Almost EVERY 2 songs you've mentioned there are either my top 2 or really close to my top 2 as well.

One very underrated track from SM3DW is World 6. My GOD what a banger. I've made extensions of it in my head to make dozens of different songs just with the same base. It's kinda short, yes, but it has this sense of wonder and adventure, like you're finally near the end, that no other track in the game matches

Some of these choices are so weird, like Dire Dire Docks over Bob-omb Battlefield.
I personally love how dire dire docks starts very calm and then the beat starts slowly settling in. The song basically hypes you up and it's overall really unique. I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but i can definitely see why someone would have it as such
Unpopular opinion: I actually do like Dire, Dire, Docks over Bob-omb Battlefield. Bob-omb Battlefield is still really good though.
Yoshi's Island is ALL!!!! IS ALL!!!!, flower garden, overworld, underground, athletic level, castle, mini boss, big boss and Bowser Jr Battle.
Cloudy Court/Fluffy Bluff Galaxy has to be one of the most beautiful songs that i’ve ever heard in Mario. Hands down.
