One of the more recent call backs I heard was in the "Coup de Grace" mission. When you approach the Ascendant Plane, Crow says, "Everything I did, I did because I wanted to." This is an obvious reference to his final scene in Forsaken where Uldren says, "Everything I did, I did for her." I really appreciate the writers throwing those lines in there to show character development.
This one is more obvious, but in Forsaken, Uldren's "The line between light and dark is so very thin" is a reference to the Venus mission in D1. Oh and one thing which I somehow never noticed until replaying the main campaign of D1 is that the symbol on Uldren's plate is actually the seasonal logo for season 12 (I guess because we're working with Crow so much).
It's also similar to a theme from Breaking Bad. Protagonist is always saying, "I'm doing this bad stuff for my family." But in the end he admits he was only doing it for himself
When you interact with the pile of corpses in the loot cave a voice says “A million deaths are not enough for Master Rahool” which just references the sheer amount of enemies we’ve killed in that cave.

I just thought of a theory about where that ship went from the Cosmodrome. We just found Crow's ship, dubbed the "Hawkmoon ship" in a hidden hangar in the EDZ. It has a near-identical frame to the destroyed ship in the Cosmodrome. Additionally, Crow and Glint both confirmed that they had brought that ship back to their hideout, but it *wasn't in flying condition* , suggesting that the ship sustained significant damage. Therefore, I believe that the "Hawkmoon ship" is _actually_ the ship Crow found and that the Traveler rebuilt. Somehow, they possibly managed to get the ship to that hangar to repurpose it (potentially). NOTE: This is extremely close to the Hawkmoon feather you find for the Hawkmoon quest in D2. It is in the same area and the crash site can be seen from the room where you spawn and where "The Crow" held the player at gunpoint in the 2013 trailer. This can't be just a coincidence.
