@@Ace-kr9ew any source I have a theory about what’s going on in game design right now. I can’t help but notice how many triple a studios are releasing buggy semi finished games and content. I think they scooped up a ton of game devs fresh outta college looking to cut their teeth on a triple a company and as someone who was a newbie given no clear instruction you’ll ask questions and take days to fix simple problems. Also working from home is rough no matter what the profession.

@@gabrielh9524 plus dead orbit had omolon weapons, which were just smoothe. I was annoyed because they had "hawthorn" weapons in d2 during the old clan rallies. Hopefully the old faction system will return, or something similar.

@@Fearfulodds Makes you wonder though, she worshipped in a god-like entity known as "The Darkness" yet the god did not like her, as she was not blessed by it yet she forced the connection and paid the ultimate price, she may have worshipped the god but the god did not find her very worthy.
It's a weird conundrum, she lost faith in the traveler after it fled, then she fell into despair and eventually abandoned the machines to worship the darkness, yet the darkness did the exact same thing the traveler did essentially by abandoning her as it never wanted her but more so used her to lure out the guardians, which it's always seen as worthy, and believes the guardians are the key.
Finally a RUclipsr saying that our current social space is on the wall, I’ve been saying since the Red War that Bungie shouldn’t have called it the tower seeing as it’s just an outpost on the wall.

Have old D1 content to come in with new one but change it up and have a reason why they bring it back, the lore, new stories and change them up a bit to fit the storyline, if they ever bring back Mars from the vault, they could make an event where it reappear after the Darkness consumes it and not just get the Warmind location but the D1 too, but Pyramids are still on them, who knows tbh

Most of the content is multiplayer and all the endgame content doesnt have matchmaking, encouraging you to actually get some friends to play with you.

i know it will eventually, but how does a game like destiny even end?
If they go with the cliché ending that seems almost obligatory, it will be an epic defeat where the Taken win but then the Light & Darkness comes through together to defeat and hold off the enemies of humanity in one last valiant effort. Our guardian dies, but the fight continues with the next generation of guardians. They kinda already mapped out the ending with our character's grave in that one event where we get Bastion; however they could flush it out and give us one final epic fight. An "Objective: Survive" type thing.
I hope they just do the world of war craft strat and keep it going for a long time.

Yeah, but one day it will. I don’t know how I am going to move on because this game has been the game of my childhood. I have tried many other games. Played all of D1 and up to The red war and then quit. I played fortnite and some other games but mainly fortnite for 3 years. I got tired of it and returned to the game that I truly love. I hope they make another game very similar to destiny when it ends.

Having said that, if those same people would still be making Halo then great! Luckily this is also partially the case with Halo: Infinite.

They really didn't though. The game's always ran like utter shit and has been massively incompatible with most processors. Even recently, Ryzen processors would just not run the game for a spell and pretty much every CPU cannot reach it's potential.
My FX 6300 would barely get 40fps and jus wouldn't go above 60% usage
My R5 3600 won't touch 40% and barely gets 70fps
It's one of the worst running games I've played, and let's not forget that they made some completely rookie mistakes like basing HHSuperNova and the Warlock glide to framerate, which bring about the typical bugs.
It's absurd that i can get 300+ FPS on most games from Siege, Overwatch, Apex etc. but Destiny struggles to keep 90 at the best of times?

Vicarious Visions also built Season of Opulance. VV built the best 2 smaller dlcs in D2, by far. Warmind suffered because of the double primairy and no random rolls sandbox but other than that it was a great dlc and brought secrets, collectibles and exotic quests back into the game which hadn't been in since vanilla or even D1, and Opulence is still regarded as the single best non expansion of the franchise alongside the best seasonal activity sp far with the Managrie. Y3 was mostly a dumpster fire without VV and High Noon's help and without Activision's money they had to focus much more on Eververse leaving the rest of the game lacking for the paid players. It's great they're hiring new staff but if they didn't have ppl working on some Matter shit no hardcore cares about maybe they could have given us better content during Y3. Having just 1 fucking raid the entire year was BRUTAL, which in turn made the power and pinnicle grind a slog in the latter 6 months. They don't need just a few more reward devs, they need an entire extra studio's help to build seasonal dlcs while they work on major expansions, and I guess the other new IP's though I could care less about any of that shit. I would like to see a 4 studio rotation where each studio works on a dlc or season for a full year with the biggest studio, Bungie itself taking sole care of yearly expansions making sure they're all Forsaken sized or bigger. It fucking sucks we didn't get a D3 this year, or ever it seems, which means we'll never get a content drop as large as D1 or D2 again because as bad as those games launched they were still the single largest content drops we ever got and both gave us a good couple months of content, and if they did the drip feed thing back then we'd have stuff to do all the way until the winter dlc. Oh and then maybe we wouldn't have gotten 2 straight expansion delays, or due to Covid we still may have this year but not until November and there deff wouldn't have been as many bugs. I still find it unacceptable they charged us $10 more than Forsaken yet gave us like a 3rd of the content. Yes Europa is big and there were cool quests but we also didn't get a dungeon, not a single pvp map(wtf man) no vendor refresh, 1 new strike with 1 returning D1 strike, no Gambit maps, we actually lost a lot of PVP and Gambit maps plus some strikes, and 1 location compared to 2, and a raid half the size of Last Wish, 9 new supers and something like twice the exotics and legendary loot. Now I get they didn't have the staff to make something that big but if that's the case why did they charge $50 for everything when Shadowkeep was $35 which was arguably somewhat bigger depending on how you look at it since it had a dungeon and some pvp stuff.
Hope the old tower gets a nice revamp. Would love to see some new things in an old environment
Don't get me wrong, I loved the old tower in Destiny 1. And I loved going back there for zero hour. However... I really don't like the idea of leaving the current Destiny 2 tower for the old one. With the ramen shop, hangars, apartments, zavala's office, banshee's workshop, and a slew of scannables and secret areas, it really feels like home. Much more than the old tower ever felt. I'm fine if they bring it back in some capacity, but please don't get rid of the current tower.

Big D1 and D2 fan (played d1 before d2 thankfully) and honestly, seeing the old tower would be nice... but... like... what are they gonna do with the broken barge on Nessus, and the leviathan? Yeah, they’re definitely going to use Eramis again. She is honestly one of the more interesting, and I’d like to see her interact with Mithrax and House of Light.

Too much compulsory co-op in a game when single player sections exist makes for a bad game. Either make it full co-op or single player with co-op making things easier. So basically do what Division 2 does. There is a reason why I could never truly love Destiny 2 when Division 2 has a better formula of how the game is structured.
Sunsetting the game, Bungie will delete all yout earned loot at weekly Reset.
This will ensure there is no power creep, and no long abuse of God Rolls, this will ensure you can go on with your mindless grind wasting your live forever.
But thats not all. We will have cosmetic/weapon/armor lootboxes for cash. You will keep this loot for 3 months before being deleted. Making sure you keep spending money on the right place.

i actually havent seen this part of the D1 tower in many years 7:54 i only had destiny on ps3 son the last exspansion we got was taken king . i only saw that part the tower once on my early days of destiny when we got the base game so if i get to see that part of the tower again it'll be amazing! they could also possibly bring back the exotic swords form destiny one as a secret quest line you get at the tower like when shaxx had raze lighter on his back at the start of D2 and helped you make the sword in D1 so maybe he would have some part in the quest line as well
Unknown player beyond light was very disappointing also I am d1 vet and the old tower is smaller but that is better also that would also allow us to delete this tower and save some space
I was going to ask someone that. Put away the nostalgia of D1, has d2 been better than d1? I’ve been going back and forth about picking up D2 again but I just don’t see the same excitement in D2. I’ve been waiting for the expansion that brings that fun back, but I haven’t seen it.
@@Bucck_50 thats just nostalgia, if you say played d1 and d2 around the same time without knowing the difference you would probably like d2 more, d1 and d2 have there pros and cons and honestly d2 is just more improved overall but yeah I get why you think that way

@@youraveragehotdog6836 maybe I shouldn’t have said better, I guess I just don’t see the excitement or dedication that people had in d1. I’ve tried to give it a go every few months but the player interaction or rather the player base isn’t as broad and enthusiastic as I remember it. I want to like it but it just doesn’t captivate me the way it used to be. I watch videos on d2 a lot just to see if someone says they have experienced something that was ground breaking. But not yet I’m so disappointed because I want to like it lol
@@Bucck_50 yeah me too, I'm pretty sure it could just be burnout from everyone, most players have played since d1 and already know what to expect and the new lights just come around to mess around get some loot then dip

I hope using stasis (Just using it) doesn't involve having consequences in the future of destiny content, mainly because stasis has been the only subclass I've been using since it was released and everybody is all "What are you doing?" or "Have we not taught you enough to use the light?" stuff... At least the exo stranger doesn't have a single problem though

Sounds like a stupid question but when oryx is floating in kings fall or originally died in regicide did he actually die or will there be a chance we meet him again with Saturn coming next year?
He dies in the kings fall raid (which is his acendent realm) in the regicide mission we defeat him (we use his sword to make raise lighter, bolt caster, dark drinker)
The best thing from D1, other than the cool Guardians you'd meet, was the Gjallarhorn. ijs
