The father of tech!
Trying to be everyone's Dad out here when it comes to hearing health 😅
Actual modern dad?
I love your videos. You are one of the best tech reviewers on RUclips. Your channel deserves so many more subscribers. Its criminally underrated Juan.
Just wondering if you would ever talk about the Sony EV Afeela that they are making with Honda? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I personally think it looks fascinating. And I think Sony made the "Apple car" before Apple!.
I reviewed the original 4 years ago. Was really satisfied with the concept and performance. Eventually I gave it to some friends and the wife of the family used it mostly since the child doesn't like using headphones, while my friend preferred it over some bass-heavy tuned headphone she was using.
It's good that products like this are out there, but the price range makes it a bit difficult to recommend. I wonder what they could do if they went for a cheaper construction and leave out the ANC and bluetooth and just based the argument on the volume limiting wire.
Why wonder? They have other headphones.
@@SomeGadgetGuy You're right, and actually precisely the concept I wondered about.
👍
that IS cool tech ❤️
How would you rate ANC compared your Sony XM4?? Just returned a pair of JBL jr 460nc because the ANC was basically nonexisting.
Even from me being in my 20s, I wish more headphone companies had a "volume limiter" that can be adjusted through the app. One thing I appreciate about Soundcore products is how most of them have a volume limiter that can be adjusted between 90-75db, as they're capable of exceeding the 100db mark without it (according to the soundcore app, at least.) I like to have it set to 80db, just as a barrier for if I do end up turning up the volume. Of course it's fine to enjoy it even louder in moderation, but defaulting to higher volumes will start to feel like "normal" after a bit, which results in volumes less than 70db to appear much quieter than they actually are.
It takes a lot to re-train our ears, but it's worth it. I now can't listen near those limits. 80dB is TOO loud.
Is vivo x 100 pro durable?
I don’t know if you have experience with the non noise canceling by Puro but I’m wondering if for a 5 year old these will be over the ear? My little is autistic and does NOT like on ear for longer than 20 minutes and we have a flight coming up. So I’m seriously debating buying these instead of a new pair of the other ones.
Yeah that's tough. I think at 5 you might be ok, but they'll quickly grow into the cups and become on ear.
I agree, most people want to get kids cheap headphones because they think it’s not worth investing a good pair.
Most of the kids headphones are garbage. It’s really hard to find quality headphones for kids.
It's a bummer. We're burning kids ears out before they have a chance to develop their own taste.
Me, who has no children and a giant head. Why am I watching this?
This guys experience is not my experience with these at all. I would say that they feel reasonable (I feel its a stretch to say premium) but I have had multiple repacements in short order because the bluetooth starts cutting out after a week or so... also the ANC is basic. So less than a month in I find myself wishing I had purchased somthing else!
I've got a little niece that gets slapped with some headphones a little too often for my liking, but if she's going to get given them, I'd prefer her to have something like these. 3 may be a little small still.
Also trying to get them in Australia ..... 🤣 😢
Yeah 3 is a little young to be wearing headphones regularly, but we had good options for Lex while traveling at that age.
to say this video tanked would be an understatement XD
Damn! an 8 year old concerned about her hearing. YOu've done well sir. you've done well.
It's a PROUD poppa moment every time I see her covering her ears around loud sounds 😊
@@SomeGadgetGuy as a blind person, I completely rely on my hearing, even after having multiple surgeries to replace tubes and close holes in my eardrums, I still have perfect sensory neural hearing. It sounds like she will too. You should be proud of yourself.
