I love Big Shot, it's a much deeper table than first impressions would have you believe and it's all about skill, there's not a lot of luck involved in its gameplay
Everyone’s minds will change just like alu when we get that coinops vpin version. Got my @games cab dec 2019 and been riding the wave since. It’s a beast now! It’s all about options!
Reason the ball looks floaty and flat is because these tables are made by farsight studios, similar situation on other platforms by them. That's why I'm opting for arcade 1up, better graphics and physics despite the smaller screen.
I’d want this for Rescue 9-1-1 and for future community upgrades and such. I emailed them and they said no more preorders and no eta for sale so bummer.
The play on this looks amazing really. I love old pinball machines and never got into video games. I can see checking one of these out when more are around and deciding if I need one.
They have done firmware updates a few times now on the machine, noticed things are more smooth than before. They will also be offering more games, like Taito tables based off of popular arcade franchises and stuff from other pinball makers.
@@Madlittlepixel Nice, thanks! I figure by the time these are really out there a lot more will have been done and the play polished even better. But so far the reviews I've seen the play looks really good.
Looks fun. Hope they can get Williams machines like Black Knight, Pinbot, Firepower, Comet, especially Fun House, maybe a few others like Space Invaders, Gorgar, and Xenon ("Try a tube shot" LOL).
Victory is very fun. Once you learn that table and what to go after and when, that table is great. But yeah, for the most part, this is the older, more boring tables. But I'm not buying this for them, I'm buying this for the tables I'm going to add. Can't wait.
Great Vid! This pinball table is now on my radar! Love the expandability of this unit. Really enjoy the Legends Ultimate Arcade from AtGames as it is the primary unit played in our home.
thanks for doing the video. Do you still have/play this machine and now that they have stopped making content for it how do you feel about the purchase? And can you BYOG other pinball tables or just arcade titles?
Just pre ordered one! Going to cancel my Arcade 1up preorder. Screen is way to small on that one and no back glass screen. Plus you can hook up your pc to this one and play pinball fx which has a williams pack.
I just bought me one of the Star Wars arcade1up pinballz maybe about 4 days ago and I play that thing every single day. I love the Zen FX tables that they put on it. A pinball machine was the only thing that I was missing in my arcade and now I have one. Is down the road I might get the other two arcade1up pinballz and maybe the Legends pinball depending on what room I'm working with. Very very good video thank you for the awesome content it was awesome
So my big question is. When are they going to come out with the part so you can put the PC on there? And are you going to do that? Also is there even room in the cabinet for a PC or you going to have to mod it? just like if you had your own cabinet or have it set on the floor beside it underneath somewhere.
I’ll be thrilled to provide financial incentive to the devs to keep supporting this unit, but I also really hope to see it get cracked wide open so that all my Pinball Arcade tables can finally be displayed properly.
If you get it delivered and have some cash $ on hand ready to "tip" the delivery guy/guys to locate it where the assembly will take place within your living area.
Would this be a good choice if you had to pick one? From atgames, one up and those custom ones. THis one looks everything ready. just want to play some pinball. I see it has usb and hdmi in and usb so it's a easy way to get pinbal fx on this thing maybe some shootemups Well found that out from another video. IDK if the score screen would work thou like that.. Wonder if the phone version would work if you got a adapter. Seems a way to go if that's the case. Are there rasberry pi images with tables?
I'm glad you cover the pinball consoles. I am holding off on buying one as I have limited space and I can wait to decide which one looks best to me in the future. Cool video. Peace!
Good stuff! For someone such as myself who is looking for a rather inexpensive pinball solution to fill a void in an arcade where I currently only have joystick games, would this fit the bill in your opinion? Knowing that I have no desire to hook a PC to it or invest in "mods / upgrades" for it? The main thing I would do is purchase the Zac packs when they go on sale and maybe a Taito pack, but would not would not utilize the OTG or BYOG features. I figure this would let me know if I like pinball enough to one day buy a real table for thousands of dollars.
Would be great if someone could remake these so they have actual depth and phsyics are better. Looking at them i'll likely skip right over them for the Zaccaria pack until i can get a PC hooked up for FX3 etc.
I'm more excited about playing vertical shooters on this machine. Space Invaders, Ikari Warriors and Raiden would look great on this machine. I'm a child of the eighties so I always thought pinball was for old farts who grew up in the fifties. I liked playing some of the virtual pinball tables on my console so I would also try the other pinball tables.
The channel is having a great 2021 - the Atari VCS is helping my channel get 1400 subs in 2 weeks. 2020 had a spectacular end and who would have thought it would be the Atari VCS that got me there. Crazy times indeed.
I think what this system will ultimately do is be the barometer to what the apatite actually is for a product like this. Now that I can see that there is finally one of these that isn't either some custom boutique made thing (like they have been doing for years) or some homebrew do-it-yourself project that most people aren't up for... seeing how well this does in sales will determine if this is going to be a marketable consumer thing moving forward. If I did get something like this, I might want something a little more high end, and I don't think AtGames gears their products to that crowd... but other companies might offer products like that down the line based on AtGames testing the waters.
Nice review! I hope they add Williams Pinball machines, they were my favorite pinball company when I played pinball in the 70's and 80's. Gottlieb machines felt slower and dull to me.
4:42 Its bugging me really hard that the Gladiator Table is broken.. What a coincidence that in the same time you show this table you ask for people to point out bad things and there it is. Literally no Table light on the Gladiator Table is flashing or alight at any point like they forgot to programm them or something.. the Table is literally unplayable because you cant follow table goals or missions this way. I cant understand why this hasnt been fixed yet. Got my legends pinball last week and as soon as i noticed this big error i kept searchibg for a possible fix but unfortunately there seems to be none.. Plus not many people really talk about. Even tho this error is there since launch... Thats a shame cause i really want to like this table. So yeah, there i pointed an error out for you. Youre welcome.
Thanks for your honesty, man. Every time I watch one of your videos I feel like Wreck It Ralph is narrating what I'm seeing, you sound exactly like John C Reilly. Anyways I agree with ya on this holds more promise in what it can offer in the future even though it's more then 1/2 way decent for now. Quick question - what's your view on the built-in exciters? I know they're not as good as solenoids but does it give you the impression of feedback on the flippers and the ball knocking around inside? Or does it provide nothing more then a subtle rumble? Thanks.
Very glad you were able to get the Legends Pinball table. I totally want one, but that tiny, little back glass monitor has to go. LOL If I ever get my hands on this table, the only thing I will mod, will be the back glass monitor. I mean, come on. The back glass, aka translight is supposed to be huge! Right? From a stand point of practicality, those of us with vision problems will have a terrible experience trying to read the itty bitty little scores on that 15" monitor. LOL. I just have to track down an adaptor to go from the type of cable used in this table, to either VGA, or HDMI, or something. Anyway, thanks for sharing this.
Nice good entry level for sure and gets more people interested in virtual pinball personally i have played so many tables but neved played a real one still waiting for that opertunity:)
I have been asking your same question everywhere if there will be a coinopsx type thing where you get to plug in a USB stick and get all the tables like bttf, Ghostbusters, Batman, theater of magic, etc. Cooltoy hooked up his PC and did it but I want something more like what you said so I will wait for that before getting this so in the meantime I'm waiting for the starwars which should get shipped on the 8th we'll see 🤔
yooooo.... so torn between this table because of the features and hardware, and mars attacks arcade 1up bc the zen tables/physics.... can u get pinball fx 3 running on it?!?!
Class of 1812 and TX Sector are the only 2 on the list I see people looking for in the real pin market to buy regularly. I use to love Haunted House as a kid. Now I don't know what I liked about it, maybe the lower playfield. But I find it pretty boring now. I also have played the real one and like, Light's Camera Action.
Ive not used the Arcade1Up versions. But from what ive seen, they are smaller and not internet connected and are lower resolution screen and smaller play area. But the 1Ups have a smaller but nicer selection of games in some peoples opinion. The atgames is expandable to add more games over time and can play arcade and console games.

I believe they placed these titles on release to afford them opportunity to sell better games later . After initial base investment like PS 4 and Xbox. Revenue streams are produced by creating software. Not one and done dollar grap. The New paradigm. Makes Cents.
The tables seem a bit boring because the ball physics are floaty as hell. there's less risk and reward going on and the ball looks like a static image.
If At Games is gonna do decent to good products now can they change their horrible logo? For pinball I much prefer Williams tables so I've been waiting to see the Arcade1up Mars table. Yet this table goes big screen. I have more trust in Arcade1up so that and Williams I'm waiting for those reviews. Either way its cool to have these options.
