Awesome news! I have zero problem paying for tables I can play natively. Between these and the future Taito tables we are going to have a TON of options on this beast.
This was certainly a huge announcement for AtGames. I'm still getting the Arcade1up Attack from Mars machine, but I'll probably also mod one of my underused Arcade1up cabs into a vertical cab with pinball buttons using the Legends Core. Might as well get the best of both worlds.
Great video as usual. I enjoy your honesty. Others tend to be to close to particular companies. I love 1up and will get AFM. I will also get this as well. It looks good. Not a fan of the badging but nothing perfect. Hope this make 1up come out with a 32 inch with downloadable content.
i really like this addition. but my problem with Atgames is quality control. Way more often people like myself complain of issues out the box. I just got mine yesterday....had bad micro switches that luckily i could replace myself, dings on cab. But like I told Atgames in an email. The shipping box was PERFECTION so they cant blame shipping. This was packed this way. Now if I get one of these pinball machines and its a 50/50 shot it will not come with issues Im gonna past no matter how many tables they put on this thing.
Arcade1up has the same problem. Imo the razor thin profit margins force these companies to manufacturer at the lowest cost factories and thus the bad qc, but that's just my speculation
That's great news, to hear AtGames is going to let us put all 105 of the Zacarria tables on the Legends Pinball table. Just wish the backglass monitor were more along the lines of 19, or 20", for that size cabinet. 15" is just too small. But that 32" play field is going to be awesome! Thanks for the video.
@@ThomasGrillo Maybe in recent times you knew. LOL. I just wanted the record to be set straight for those that are looking forward to playing the deluxe tables.
@@ajboomer1347 No, I knew then, that AtGames was going to offer the tables as bundle packs, and that they don't come with the table. Geez. Go back and read my original comment. LOL
Where there's a USB, there's a way...they've already sold me on hardware vs software. In fact everyone waiting for it is waiting because they recognize the superior product/value over cabinet artwork or pre-installed software. I've grown to appreciate honesty and that's what they're displaying with not giving us false hope with a preorder that'll last too long. Better to build suspense than build anxiety when we'll get the machine at the same time either way. They could have easily taken our money or deposits but didn't and from a cup half full perspective I appreciate that. Throw in the changes they made based on the community concerns and they clearly understand this machine is a long term play and not a holiday season fad.
I was lukewarm on this but now I’m looking more forward to it. Not too thrilled about gottlieb or zarrica, but the number of tables available coupled with the specs make it hard to beat. I’m still getting attack from Mars.
Unqualified Critics, Great stuff and exciting news! It's funny. Having grown up around real mechanical Pinball Machines all my life, if you would've asked me, before the first commercially viable ($500 range/my opinion) home Virtual pinball machine came out (ToyShock first to the market), which cabinet design do you think they'd come out with first? My answer would've been, without hesitation, Haunted House. I remember me and my friends first seeing this machine when it hit arcades and being blown away! It had the playfield beneath the table, like in Black Hole before it, but it also had the addition of an upper playfield. And with it's Halloween theming, which is universally appealing, it couldn't go wrong. Haunted House Pinball is SO ICONIC, I couldn't imagine it not being the first commercial home VPin cab. Fast Forward to last year, and low and behold, Toy Shock comes out with that first commercially viable Vpin for the home and it's Haunted FREAKIN' House! I was so elated that I bought it without hesitation. Now ToyShock didn't do justice to the gameplay with it's low hardware specs causing flipper lag, but the build quality and artwork were top notch (the huge silver bezel withstanding, of course). This is a beautiful machine! Now if their V1.3 PCB replacement fixes the flipper lag as they've promised, then ToyShock has delivered. As a side note, and what's really blowing my mind, is if you would've asked me which Williams cabinet design you think would come out if someone did a home Williams VPin, my answer would've been, Attack From Mars. Dude, this is truly blowing my mind! I'm not saying I can predict the future or anything, but if we see a Trifecta, a commercial home VPin cabinet of my current favorite real world pinball machine, South Park, I'm going to buy a lottery ticket! It's a Sega brand, so fingers crossed for Arcade1up? I love all the big pinball manufactures, Gottlieb, Williams, Stern, Data East, you name it, but for people to hate on Gottlieb is insane to me. Pinball without Gottlieb is like Pinball without Williams, Stern, Data East, etc. AtGames is SO SMART to grab Gottlieb. And now with Zaccaria in the mix, that's great a bonus! I just hope they can figure out a way for those of us who've already paid for Zaccaria tables on Steam (I own the entire collection as a Platinum member) to get them either for free on the AtGames table, or even at discount would be nice. I hate paying for things twice, especially in this digital age. We now need to petition Stern to partner up with one of these VPin companies for a physical VPin table, and while we're at it, Data East. Let's get all the big players to come home to the Home VPin Cabinet market... AND WITH ONLINE STORES TO ADD MORE GAMES! vgv btw, the last I heard, Arcade1up Pins do have 1080p monitors, but will run at 720p 60fps. I hope with the Gen 2 upgrade kits, those Gen 1 Arcade1up's will eventually be able to take full advantage of the monitor's resolution.
Not a fan of the older gottlieb or zaccaria tables and I’ll prob still get the 1up AFM but I have to give AtGames credit here 100+ tables you don’t need to stream is a big selling point for them.
I agree that atgames seems to have better specs in every way on paper. But so many things are important here that are hard to measure. Lag on the tables after button presses, viewing angle of table, quality of the tables, general QA, upgradeability (firmware/games/solenoids/sound/shakers/leds)
Hey bud, great video! Arcade1up Pinball is 720p 60FPS for the main playfield. 👍🏻. That has been confirmed. They took a small hit on fidelity to be able to make sure they can consistently stay at 60FPS. 👍🏻. As far as streaming pinball goes, give it a shot and you will see why literally no one in the VPIN hobby space streams pinball, even a little bit of lag is killer for Virtual Pinball... just totally destroys the experience. Keep up the great work bud ✊🏻
Great video, i bought a arcade1up star wars pinball, but thinking about cancelling my order, and either waiting for phase 2 arcade 1up pinball tables or getting a legends pinball... The 32" screen 60fps 1080p just seems so much better than 24" 720p 60fps
Couldn’t you still have those in tables from your PC though,, and if they’re not gonna support Cabinet mode all you need is a digital media player and those games back glass videos on a loop with HDMI switcher or maybe it just plugs in I don’t know,, I have a Nintendo switch pinball machine and that’s how I got my back glass videos working, , And if you don’t have a PC why can’t you just plug Nintendo switch in
I didn't see a lot of these games like House of Diamonds or zombie invasion in the Zac volumes (bought 1-4 via legends atgames.net). These must be all OTG and you're running front software/pups/steam
Are we going to be able to get future pinball and virtual pinball on here and if so or if not how much memory space is going to have and what can we add to it
So how long do you think before the videos start showing up on how to mod this cabinet to play the Zen tables in cabinet mode? You know it’s going to happen. Someone will figure it out.
not really a matter of figuring it out, just a matter of getting the code from zen. I'm sure someone who buys this will also have a DIY cab they can show Zen to get that code
@@TheRextc Yeah but viewing distance is a lot closer playing pinball vs watching something from the couch. With a screen that small might as well just play on a vertical monitor.
