Honestly as much as I love Black Doom I think Shadow's story is pretty much done. I'm just glad they gave Black Doom an actual legitimately good boss fight finally though I REALLY REALLY wish "I am" played during Neo Devil Doom instead of all Hail Shadow.
Any DBZ fans feel that the glowing Super Form like Aura around Shadow at the end of the fight was like that time Goku went Super Sayian Lite against Lord Slug?
I wasn't expecting black doom to transform back to devil doom and then change to neo devil doom guess he wasn't kidding when he said he learned from their last encounter
I actually thought about the concept of a super form 1v1 boss fight concept, like we have Sonic and Shadow fighting agaisnt each other in their super forms.

honestly i always had wished that Shadow died in adventure 2 and was a one off and i felt this way growing up but then i realized after seeing this game and its ending I'm glad he got to live and go on i love shadow a lot he is my second fav character in sonic and Ian knew what he was doing he said that he loved shadows story in 06 a lot it was all important and i loved how they showed Shadow crying and the way he did it he got to say goodbye to Gerald and Maria may they rest in peace here's to where shadow goes next as of now his characters feels complete and im excited to see what they do Next.
I’m glad Ian was able to convince you that Shadow returning was a good thing cuz I never on board with the idea of killing off such a big important character after his debut game
@mightysucc4017 so I just did it. The ones that require you to hit R, move as left as you can and as soon as they're somewhat close then hit it, then all the way right for the L, then as soon as you seem him stagger boost and mash the attack button. Try that. That's what just worked for me :)
I honestly think that at around 7:21 at least, they should’ve had Neo Devil Doom try to finish off Shadow with some kind of epic energy blast, but through equally epic button-mashing, he forces through that attack and finally finishes the bastard off. Still, overall, this final boss was pretty challenging yet epic and fun, and also both Shadow Generations and the remastered Sonic Generations (despite having a total dialogue rewrite and script rewrite that I personally think were almost completely unnecessary) were a great way to get everyone ready for Sonic Movie 3 this Christmas.

It depends on where you're positioned on the screen whenever the flash indicator comes on. If the indicator sparks and you're on the top half of the screen, then move toward the bottom half, and vice versa.
Wait, so the doom wings serve as a replacement to super shadow? The rings drain when flying, so I guess they didn't want him to get the chaos emeralds and instead have dark powers. I can see that, but I would love to see a dlc to play as super shadow
He swipes at where you're positioned, so if you're in the middle of the screen you have to move either up or down to dodge. The second time he'll swipe where you moved to... so you have to move again.

I think my game is glitched. Cause no matter what I do during the second phase, I can’t hit him. I’ve hit the button at different times, used chaos spear, held the button for different lengths… like I’ve gotten lucky a few times and managed to hit him, but I literally can’t beat him because of this glitch. I’m doing exactly what you’re doing, but I get no combo, then I get blasted away, and no damage is done. I don’t get it.
Here’s hoping we get more FULL solo Shadow stories in the future (if not full games). WTF was with that “Episode Shadow” prequel in Forces? It was like 3 levels.
