Yeah. One of his recent Assault Suits Leynos reviews reminded me I'd never gotten around to buying a Valken model. Ended up finding one on Amazon that was on sale.

Ignoring the hate and the ( ignorance of fools ) is a good thing to learn how to do. You do alot of good with your content so far as i've seen. The reviews are well done, recomendations are given with pro's and cons just the same as reviews. And my favorite ( hope to see more of when able ) are the kit bash/trash to treasures where you show more or less step by step how to alter kits to better fit the idea that a person sees in their head. A few more kits built for me to get back into it and I want to start trying to modify some as well. Keep up the good work!

I agree with the positive comment about the non-gunpla reviews and boo the haters. I love the non-gunpla reviews of yours. It is practically a barren wasteland of english language reviews of Moderoid and non-Zoids Koto kits. Especially of your quality. The same Witch From Mercury HG will be reviewed by 100 RUclipsrs, which is cool but meanwhile Moderoid is putting out some crazy 🔥🔥🔥 right now that is impossible to find a review of in english. Much love.
There will always be someone there to project their insecurities and just show they're mad at the world. Keep doing what you've been doing man we always appreciate your work and what you do!
Regarding the price complaint (around 20:00), a good practice for people in general to follow is use a basic 100:1 yen-to-dollar conversion ratio. The actual ratio might fluctuate - for instance, currently it's around 140:1 and has been about 130:1 in general for a while now - which you can google if you're really looking to min-max your spending, but it's convenient for quick and dirty maths. 5000 yen kit? About $50, before international shipping.
At the beginning of the video you mentioned suggestions on new content. Then in the comments you read off there was the one about the bootleg kits. So I'm not sure if you'll be interested in this. But, ever since I saw the leaks about the 1/60 Daban Nu Gundam I have been wanting to see a review like yours on it. As you mentioned it's about managed expectations and I think you would be the person to give a solid review and point out any issues with the massive kit that may come with it. This next part has less to do with your channel, but I didn't know that you worked at USAGS. Leads me to wonder if you know what kits are out of production? I have a couple of HG Ground Gundam kits, the 2018 ones (according to the year on the manual). But I'm curious if you would know if the Ground War set kits are still in production? Those are the ones I really would like to have. Lastly, I would like to also leave some positive feedback. I found you a few years ago, your painting gunpla tutorial came up in my search, while I haven't applied anything from it yet, I've been too scared to take the plunge. I enjoyed seeing that despite what I had been seeing everywhere else on RUclips at that time, that I didn't actually need a paint booth in my apartment or even a tiny paint gun. If you have any tips to add to your old videos on painting I would love to see those in a new video too.
I slowly watched less of mecha gaikotsu when I got kinda annoyed at his Jobby impression, stopped watching mecha gaikotsu altogether once I started getting into non-Bandai kits because I realized just how biased he is.
@zakuauraelius Don't even dignify these kind of comments with a response. You've made a solid channel, I respect your reviews and I'm always curious to see what you're looking at & working on
I've always loved your content, you cover a lot of other kits and I always look forward to both the gunpla and mecha musume stuff, especially since not a lot of people cover mecha musume that much. Your videos are what made me fall in love with maschinen krieger kits as well(Finished my 2nd S.A.F.S like last week too). Keep at it, you're doing great. I'm still a little peeved that the last competition wasn't explained enough about the themes, made it a little hard for people like beginners to join. Especially when they have zero knowledge of advance of zeta or anything remotely related to it.
8:10 that's really funny comment 🤣 it's like saying "Gundam Hazel is not a Gundam because it uses GM Quel as the base", the definition of Gundam was never consistent in the whole franchise, and it was Sunrise/Bandai's decision on what is a Gundam 9:50 i guess i built my 30MM kits in the dumbest way because i can built them just fine with the manual 20:58 "in recent years Bandai has increase their cost of the kits to us", not just that. they also remove the price on the barcode so they can change the price anytime keep up the good work ZakuAurelius!
10:10 I started doing that simply because it helps me in building gunpla when I record for my channel. I have my tiny containers from Target always at hand, its a time and space saver.
I have to say at first zach's style of review wasn't really my taste when I first jumped into gunpla building, but I watched his reviews anyways because I need another reviewer's perspective regarding certain kit before I bought it. After years passed, the more I understand about gunpla and its technical aspect (seamlines, nubmarks, sanding papers, etc.), I lean towards zach's more for the comprehensive input. Just ignore those people, either they need time to adjust to your video style or they are just pure hating with no other significant activity in their life to keep them busy.
About the organizer boxes, I watched videos in MADWORKS, they are using something like bento trays/boxes. As for myself, I am using plastic bags.. So far I have no problem in organizing the parts.😅
I love the current videos and format think it’s all great! My only thing is I wish you would do more videos like the Japanese builder Crafta just cuz I feel like we Dnt have a lot of English speaking builders who go step by step into the customization process
Man, you've been one of my favorite content creators on the internet. Ever since I saw those Gunpla shopping videos when you were in Korea. Good times. Haters gonna hate, but I really can't imagine why anyone would hate you lmao. You're not even remotely controversial at all 😅
I also like the non-gunpla reviews. I mean Gundams are cool, but there's so many other cool robots out there. Kyokai Senki, the Infinitism line, Hasegawa's Macross, VOTOMS, Moderoid's Shin Getter and so on. But the first one about the seamlines on the 1/60 Mazinger, that things costs like 200$ and is very hard to get, so I would expect it to be amazing and not have the same seamlines are the HG model. Same thing like as the PGU having stickers instead of waterslides, those are valid criticism if you're gonna pay that much money for something so niche.
You always being in my top videos about gunpa community. I really dont care how much the hates coming from. Just be who really are who liking and passions about gunpla and other modelling kits. Be cool and you are still number one for me.
Whenever I hear someone call my gunpla, toys, I just go with it. They technically are toys and honestly it's just frustrating trying to explain. And if someone tries to ask me, "why are you spending so much money on it?", I just answer "because I can". It usually shuts them up.
Good lord,ya gotta pick your battles with what kits you CAN buy! BUDGET BUDGET BUDGET! these are MODEL KITS not your RENT, BILLS or FOOD! If its more than you got at the time...oh well save up for the secondary market! NOBODY is twisting your arm to get these HOBBY ITEMS! It sucks to miss a new releases but id drather have food.😅 plus zakureliaus doesnt set the prices, bandai does. Stay fly!
Hi. Been only a month into Gunpla and your videos has been really helpful to get more enjoyment out of the kits. I was wondering or you could do a video about the action bases and how use them properly. I have picked up a few action base 4 and 5. For one the connector that came with RG Mark II AEUG doesn't seem to fit on the Mark II of mine. So I used the U-shaped piece that came with the action bases, but they isn't very solid fit. Then with kits like RG Hi-Nu Gundam that is heavier. I can't seem to get them to suspend in air without the arms feeling very unstable and very wobbly. What can I do to remedy that? Hope you can help a beginner out.
Honestly Kotobukiya stuff does tend to be loose or kinda fall apart, i just started glueing them all now. Went back and glued most parts on all my zoids kits and built kosmos ver4 with glue and no issues lol
I have enjoyed watching content on this channel and got back in the hobby because of his reviews. I even tired 3rd party kits because of the reviews I watched on this channel.
I wouldn't worry about hate , my girl actually showed me your channel and I usually look on your channel to see if a kit I'm interested in is there so I can get the jist of what I'm about to go through.
Haters are going to hate no matter what, and those exact same haters are pouring their own "love" onto something else all at the same time. At the end of the day you just keep going your own way.
Always wanted to ask you, if there is a mobile suit team tournament and you can pilot from any Gundam / mobile suit what would you choose? And a who would you choose as a mobile suit teammate (including 1 pilot)?
This is the worst kind of content I've ever seen!! *Me hoping to get my comment featured on next hate comment video XD Kidding aside, Your videos are very easy on the eyes, very objective and full of good insight on the pros and cons of particular kits. I never thought I'd be interested in Mooks but found liking every mook video you've made so far and even wanting to get one of my own. More power and just keep pumping them banger videos out!
LOL. It's funny when he said he was going to block their name but said you can find the video and gave us the video’s name and said we can find them but we should not attack them (wink wink). He hears you, we won't attack them (wink wink). Also, I didn't know he worked with USA Gundam Store. I love that website.
I wasn’t wink wink nod hinting, more so just acknowledging the fact that I know people will still be able to find the comments even without the username 🤷♂️
On the parts, I go through and cut out all the parts for say, a leg, then go through, clean up the parts, then build, then move onto the next lem or whatever, different strokes for different folks, whatever works for the individuals
I seriously can’t get over that guy getting triggered over you using the organizer method for building kits! 😂 I adopted the same method recently, and I can honestly say that my builds are MUCH easier and go MUCH quicker by cutting out and organizing parts first!
I'm a small content creator myself, I know it sucks. I am one of your fan. I just want to tell you I really like your content. No matter what other toxic people say, you will always have much more supportive audience at your back. Because you are cool. Cheer up and Keep up.
You know what I would like to see?? The Rick Dom/The O kitbash in 2023!! Done right too, I’d like to see *some* level of customization, nothing gbwc worthy or anything... but something. 🤷♂️
I always know a model vs a toy because a model kit is much more delicate and a toy is more durable. Gunpla is a pose-able statue made for display not for play. A lot of those hate comments sounded like they don’t even know the difference between the two. And the whole thing about any hobby is the freedom to choose what you want and do with it. Happy building.😊
I just don't understand with this negative people..one time, I stumbled the hate comments towards mecha G in a gunpla facebook group..the amount of hate is huge
You know what's funny about your compartment/tackle box method for assembling your kits? Bandai breaks down the instruction manual into body part sections too. Or am I wrong about that?
Wow Saying you're a Gaikotsu clone is like saying gold is a copy of coal. All i have yo say is, at least your reviews dont make me cringe. Keep up the good stuff Zack
If the guy saying you’re way of building is dumb, he’d have an aneurysm watching me. I cut everything out, sort by the color I’m going to paint then go to town painting and while painting I just lay the pieces on dehydrater plates in a dehydrator until ready to assemble. I feel after building so many you can look at certain pieces and say “that’s a head piece” or “that’s a lower leg half”
Wait people have problem with using organizer box? That is the fastest way to organize and build a kit imo. I can cut out the runner during downtime in office and clean the nub later for assembly.
Long time viewer. Been building kits on and off in the 90’s-2000’s then stopped for life and now back again. Experienced those early days with non-grade kits to HG then MG. This channel have reignited my passion. I find the reviews of gunpla and other franchises helpful and enjoyable. Keep up the good work! I’m dumbfounded by the sense of entitlement from some of the haters. At the end of the day, building model kit is a hobby. Any hobby at it’s core cost money and time. One have to accept that before entering the hobby. It’s the skills you developed overtime you start to appreciate the hobby for its nuances. Then again my opinion is bias, because I really like mecha genres and anything UC related.
I actually liked when you review non Bandai model kits because there’s not a lot reviewers that did.
He also never said he was gunpla only so I never understood that complaint, and besides, exposure to other models is good.

Gunpla-Expert: CONFIRMED TRIGGER 😅
@zakuauraelius Don't even dignify these kind of comments with a response. You've made a solid channel, I respect your reviews and I'm always curious to see what you're looking at & working on
I can always tell toys apart from model kits because I pay way more for my toys than for my models kits. :)
The voice you use when reading the first few comments reminds me so much of Xavier Renegade Angel -it’s an adult swim show-
8:10 that's really funny comment 🤣 it's like saying "Gundam Hazel is not a Gundam because it uses GM Quel as the base", the definition of Gundam was never consistent in the whole franchise, and it was Sunrise/Bandai's decision on what is a Gundam
9:50 i guess i built my 30MM kits in the dumbest way because i can built them just fine with the manual
20:58 "in recent years Bandai has increase their cost of the kits to us", not just that. they also remove the price on the barcode so they can change the price anytime
keep up the good work ZakuAurelius!
You're holding out with the good and spicy comments!
The comments section on RUclips always ends up making The One Year War look tame.
Some of these are downright entertaining. Please do more of these types of vids
Im from Thailand, I like ur reviews. they helped me to make purchasing decision on several kits.
You're not even remotely controversial at all 😅
For the model kit/toy perspective, it's fair just to let them do whatever they think, not all are big fans of our hobbies though.
That mechagaikotsu comment got me laughing
Like, you don't put NEARLY as much effort in your muscles! That guy is JACKED.
Be cool and you are still number one for me.
been watching you since a lot of the 'old guard' slowed down or stopped entirely. thanks for the videos o/
I really like it when you review mecha musume kits since there aren't many reviews out there, especially the atk girls line and nuke matrix.
Bro eff the haters lol i love your content! Also do you plan on doing a review for the Megami Device Shura Archer 2/1 Scale??
I hope so! If Kotobukiya will send me one 🥲 🤞
This is the worst kind of content I've ever seen!!
*Me hoping to get my comment featured on next hate comment video XD
Kidding aside, Your videos are very easy on the eyes, very objective and full of good insight on the pros and cons of particular kits. I never thought I'd be interested in Mooks but found liking every mook video you've made so far and even wanting to get one of my own. More power and just keep pumping them banger videos out!
I'm curious, is the organizer box faster than the build/cleanup as you go method?
I love your voice and your detailed review of gunpla.
This was a good video. Very funny, keep up the good work buddy!
We love your videos. Thanks for all you do!
I used to be a hater when i was a kid growing up i appreciate your work more and more! Cheer up bro they're just jealous of your skill.
I must confess, back in the day, I found your voice droning, but after having 2 kids of my own, I can relate to that tone of voice lol
btw... can I request a playlist by the mokit type? Like ms girl (atk girl, ms general, megami device), gunplas, etc etc.
Please? 🐶
I just don't understand with this negative people..one time, I stumbled the hate comments towards mecha G in a gunpla facebook group..the amount of hate is huge
To be honest, your channel is good for modelers like me. You build variant Gundam and girlplas with fair reviews, so keep it up.
This is a great channel and very informative
You know what's funny about your compartment/tackle box method for assembling your kits? Bandai breaks down the instruction manual into body part sections too. Or am I wrong about that?
Wow
Saying you're a Gaikotsu clone is like saying gold is a copy of coal.
It's so annoying when people criticize professionals with years of experience. Worse still when they double down on ignorance.
There's a lot of hate!!! Hate,hate, !👺
IBO is only a popular show because of Barbatos. Every other design is uninspired and I can't name a single MS besides big B.
Vidar
this truly prove that we live in a society
Then again my opinion is bias, because I really like mecha genres and anything UC related.
i usually seperate the parts from runner like your strategy head arms leg its is easier to assemble after that
haha
