I’m not a luthier or a tech, however carefully check the cavity and see if you have any loose wires or anything not connected. What you’re describing does sound like possibly a bad ground or a loose connection somewhere. If it is and you’re not comfortable soldering I’d take to it to a good luthier in your area.

What do you mean exactly? Like the pickups themselves or is it noise from the amplifier?
