I love how you emphasize achieving a thin overlay! It really makes such a difference in the final look. The color tips were super informative too! Can't wait to practice these techniques at home. 🙌🎨
I use dip powder Azure Beauty is the first brand I bought and it’s still my favorite. I do the pour over but I use a dip powder spoon to apply the powder and I let the powder sit for about 30 seconds before brushing off the excess. Then do the next nail. I have used the same brushes that came in my original kit, I just now had to put my base gel brush in the brush saver, left it in at least over night, I used the brush that was in the brush saver when I opened it, then switched them out. I love dip powder, there are so many small businesses that our making such beautiful and very different dip powder that it makes the nail art very simple. Since you can do anything with dip powder that you can do with acrylic. Love your videos, see you next time!
I learned to use dip powders after studying it for 2 years I started a few months ago. On my 3rd set. Also if you do the pour over method it helps it not get so bulky and also less time shaping and buffing..
Fantastic video, as always. Dip powder is so new and honestly strange to me. I'm an old-school acrylic and gel tech. Your technique makes a lot of sense and might get me to try dipping again.
Beautiful! I would love to try this as my sister in law prefers dip. I used to do her nails with acrylic. When I was off for 7 months with spine surgery she started going to another tech and has dip nails now. She asked if I do that. I told her I didn't. Oh well.
Not hard to learn a lot of DIYers like myself are doing it. Also if you're a tech this is such an easy method if you can do acrylic you can do this by following the directions in the kit.. Give it a try it's fun.
Love the nails, so beautiful!! I want to do dip nails, and I was wondering if you do the same prep as gel nails? Do you add a dehydrator and primer to the nails before applying the dip basecoat or is it not necessary for dip powder ?
I am curious to see how long this mani holds up for without cracking. The only way that I have been able to keep the dip thin and not crack is by having a layer of builder gel on the nail first. Just dip powder alone I need minimum three layers, and even then, the corners end up cracking a few days in.
With the top coat, I noticed that the activator will harden the brush if you don't wait about 2 minutes after applying. I used to get so impatient that all my brushes would harden 😂😅😂😅.

Wow this turned out beautiful! ❤️ Most beautiful dip powder nails I have ever seen ❤️
I love dip powder! These "galaxy" nails look amazing 🤩
I got one of their kits last year and honestly was intimidated by it lol. This video made me want to use your techniques.

Beautiful nails.
Very pretty🥰. I won't use super glue on nails but what a creative idea👌
So pretty. ☺️

I developed a gel allergy 😩😩. I’m wondering if I could use dip instead ?? Love your videos 🙌🫶
Great video!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!! 😁
I only do dip powder manicures because I have terrible gel allergies. I put cotton balls in the nostrils to avoid dip flu.

I prefer gel polish. i did dip once as it was meant to be 'healthier' for the nails. they were pretty but super thick and was a pain to remove
How long does it take ?
About 1 -1,5 hrs
I get dip flu so for me no dip nails anymore
You can use gel base coat with dip powder. I get dip flu too, but have lots of pretty colors of powder
@eltornaydo6414 but then you have to use the uv lamp again.
@@marians9541 True, but it's better to me than being sick for 2 days lol
Same!!!!!!

This looks really good but I simply can't stand the look of the cuticle pushed that far back. It looks unnatural and a littel revolting to me 😢
Dip powder gives me horrible Dip Flu 😩
That's because dip powder kits use super glue. Try doing it using gel base coat Instead 😊
Try good ventilation and a mask. PPE should always be used when doing nails.
