Happy to hear you’re starting this journey with becoming a licensed nail tech. I’m sure you will enjoy the experience and am looking forward to learning about it. Congratulations on your decision..🌺🌺
❤❤❤. I would say good luck Crystal but i know you got this! When you put your mind to something you go all in. So excited to see you start your journey ❤❤❤
I did the nail course 2 years ago and told them I didn’t need the kit because I had everything . There was no problem. I watched enough videos with people getting kits and knew I would just throw their stuff out. I would definitely get a better acrylic brush good luck and have fun
You go girl! Good for you on getting licensed. It’s a great experience and you already have the love for nails like I do! I started 4-1/2 years before starting school. I will officially be licensed this week! 5 years of doing nails total now. I have 2 days left and all my exams and state exam is done! Good luck to you! Your kit came with a lot! I didn’t get a lamp, drill, or practice hand. Also mine only had acrylic no gel or dip. Good thing Ive trained myself in all the different areas and had most of the things needed❤ love you girl! Your great
🎉🎉Congratulations🎉🎉 "Crystal" can't wait to see what you think about school I'm so excited for you I've been licensed since 96 so I've been doing nails for a while it's my passion and I love everything about it thanks for sharing and showing luv hi "Blue" much love always 💅💕💕💕
Love how I randomly came across this.. I’m also already knowledgeable as I’ve been doing nails for years - also specializing in gels (I’ve done acrylic like once lol). I decided to get licensed just to have it and so I can do more productions and etc. I literally just started school yesterday and pick up my kit tomorrow so it was cool to see what was in yours. Now, I can’t wait to get mine to compare… I’m in NYC ✨
Congratulations 🎉 so very exciting!! I thought about getting licensed but had issues with dip liquids. I started out doing my own nails with dip. After about a year I developed “the dip flu” from the dip liquids. I would get a cold for about a week after doing my nails. I used a vented area with a fan and mask. I eventually switched to gel because of the issue.
How exciting 😊 you are lucky you can take online schooling...I had to complete 300 hours in person through a Cosmetology School here in Ohio, that was definitely difficult while working a full-time retail job and doing nails after work and on my days off... lol But you will do great, you know the basics just from doing your own so it'll just be the technical terminology you might need a lil more study time for(and acrylic was my nemesis too... but only because I've never used it, I'm a gel girl too!!), but if your exams are anything like our State Board testing, they keep it pretty simple and basic. Good luck to you and I look forward to seeing your progress throughout your schooling💜
Just to let you know young nails has a new acrylic system that is extreme low odor so you might wanna check into that one instead of the stronger smell. They say you can’t smell it when they’re doing live on twitch and stuff but happier in no school get it girl.
congratulations. ❤It is so much fun to take this education. i took mine at a private school in 2014. No regrets at all. You're going to enjoy yourself ❤
Lol, that's so funny. I have been ordering a few things from Sweetie's nail supply. Omg I love their products, but my bank account is mad at me, lol. I have some fun videos coming soon. Life is just a bit hectic right now. Thank you so much for watching. Big Hugs 🤗 💙
Fellow Canadian nail DIY'er who is somewhat new to creating video's here on RUclips and a new subscriber to your channel. I have been struggling with what kind of air purifier to get. How can you tell what kind will help take out the smell of monomer while working? How did you decide on the one you bought?
@shawnamarshall8088 I am in Canada, but you can look the school up and see if they offer it in your area. Their is a link in the description of the video Thank you so much for watching💙🤗
Hey Jessica, yes, this school is 100% online. The enrollment process was pretty easy. I emailed them, and then I enrolled over the phone. They call you and chat to see what program fits you best. 🤗💙

Good luck with your course. Is it an online course or do you go to a business to do it all? I was considering doing a course here in Brisbane Australia just down the road from where I live but they only accept Asians, at their school. I don’t feel comfortable just doing online study 50+ years old.
Thank you so much for watching! Hugs🤗💙
YAYAYAYAY!! 🎉 Look at you getting stuff done!!! 😎💜💅🏽 So happy for you!! 💖

This is online, I'm doing this course atm here in Queensland as well and it's really good
@ thank you for your reply. Is the course from overseas recognised here as a qualification?
@amandacoyne1663 I'm doing it through the one here in Australia, it's recognised here
Yu should practice with their products so you will know how it works when you take your exams
