- Our 2015 grand caravan is my wife's daily driver. One day I took it for a drive and I could feel a minor looseness in the steering wheel that I never felt before. After an inspection, I discovered the tie rod ends were loose. I have to admit that I am very impressed that the OEM rod ends lasted for 140,000 miles especially because they take a beating everyday on a rough dirt road. So I bought good quality parts and waited for them to be delivered. It was a simpler job than expected but to my surprise, the next time I took the van for a drive, there was a NEW sound that wasn't there before. From a previous experience, I knew it was the "new" sway bar end links. I just replaced them recently! Uhhhg!

Hey I don’t have any clunks but when in Drive and I release my brake and then press brake again the steering wheel would jerk. This jerk also happens while I drive but it happens randomly.
What do you think might be the problem?
That’s usually caused by a seized caliper or a brake pad that’s stuck in its guides. The side that is working normally grabs first which is why it jerks to one side. Then with more pressure the sticky side begins to work and it evens out. At least that’s my guess.
Turn the wheel out to work easier
I did that! Did you not watch?! :)
@@sstressfl you didn't do it at the start
@@papabits5721 I didn’t feel restricted but yes it would put the rod end further out 👍
