    Seeing as you're clearly a fan of a well crafted multi-season story arc as opposed to solely episodic, procedural TV,... you'd best buckle-up and prepare yourself for what I'd vote as the best five-season story arc in modern television. What a joy it would be to be able to watch this again for the first time. There aren't many shows like that but this is definitely one of them.

    Love how much you love Walter already! And I'm sure Olivia will grow on you. I started Fringe because of the weird science, but I fell in love with it because of the characters.

    The mysteries of this series remind me of a Russian nested doll.
    Walter is like the straight man throwing out one-liners with no hint of telling jokes.

    Great hair. You will warm to Olivia, but it may take longer because she is such a strong character. I have not seen a female lead written like her before or since. You will respect her, hold her in great esteem, want her to succeed, root for her, be on her side, cry for her even. As she slowly lowers her guard and is written as less of someone on the outside looking in, it is easier to connect. I think that was a deliberate writing choice and even acting choice on Anna's part. She isn't cold, but she's alone and grieving and betrayed so she's holding herself somewhat apart. You're just feeling that.

    There was an urban legend when I was a kid (in the seventies) that metal tooth fillings could pick up certain am/fm frequencies. Maybe that's why certain tunes get "stuck in your head."

    Glad you're enjoying the show. I watched this show for the first time in 2022. I was looking for a replacment show after finishing supernatural then randonly came across this awesome show

      'Person Of Interest' does a good multi-season story arc too.

    i wonder if we see any 'fringe' science on the show that we have actually come close to irl.

    When i was watching this show back when, i didn't know Anna Torv is Australian, her American accent is great. Now everyone knows the legendary John Noble, who is also Australian, but i thought Anna was American.

    I haven't thought about Trigger Happy TV in a long time. My father was actually in an episode of Dom Joly's Happy Hour. He was a "hillbilly" when they were trying moonshine in the US.

    Neural network is another "fringe" science that was really pursued for a short time. Don't know more about it than that though. Solid episode. Now I'm sure that I didn't give it a real chance; I'm getting into it. Not that it matters, but I do like your hair color, style too. It suits you.

      Sometimes all we need is time and space to help us appreciate things we previously had a rather distinct distaste for.
      Sometimes it's music, or food that gets revisited, and we realize our mistakes.

      It was found out that a Neural network needs a Quantum computer to work. So Scientist's are trying to make Quantum computers

    • @user-knightoftherealms
      @user-knightoftherealms 3 месяца назад +2

      @@raymondamador1487 Lot's of luck trying that. Science has been trying, and failing, getting quantum computers for five years now, and they haven't come close yet. They have made some big advancements in the field, but even the most optimistic expert says that any such break though is still years off. Something to hope for though.

      Saw her once in person, as well. Gorgeous. I waved and said “Hi, Anna!”, and she smiled and waved back. Wish I had the courage to go talk to her, but she looked like she was in a bit of a hurry, so I didn’t bother. Honestly, she probably thought we had met somewhere before, since I said her name, and she was just being polite. lol
