The Genesis Series is a Syntac Adventure in the New Genesis Part 2 DLC Map for Ark Survival Evolved. In this series Syntac will progress in the Lifeboat Spaceship by taming fantastical creatures like the Stealthy Assassin Shadowmane, the Mind Controlling Noglin and the Space Dolphin Astrodelphis! Once he has completed the dangerous missions the lifeboat has in store for him he can face the Element Infused Rockwell for the final time to save the Arks!

I’m surprised you didn’t tame a snow owl and use thermal vision it’s very easy to spot them they even spawn on the ramps in to Rockwell’s guts

Yeah, all the Noglins I have tamed were out on in the over world, not down in the cave area. Get an Owl and search just south of the trench and in the trench itself. Way easier to tame outside.
I've spotted them at the entryway to one of the space biome bridges, but they always vanish; I think they fall through the terrain. And of all the ones I've seen by the water outside, they've all been eaten by carniflora. To the point where I barely get glimpse of them before they get snapped up. I don't want to go into the Innards biome to get one, but it seems my game just demands I do so. D:

After hours of looking I found my first one right at the very back of the trench. A trick I learned is to search at night as they are much easier to see with the tek helmet and owl
Quick fact for avoiding summoners: the shadowmane cloak avoids detection from everything including noglins
You can also use them to bypass all the creatures in the Overseer cave.

What about rockdrake invisibility?
Tip: Use Snow Owls or Bloodstalkers if you wanna find Noglins. Plus, the Bloodstalker is immune to Noglin control, which makes it perfect for looking for good Noglins and executing bad ones without worry.
fun fact, you can place a tent over them. I placed a tent over one (in the garden, not innards). Built something around it that would hold the tames i wanted it to control...worked like a charm. Also, can't use bred, but CLONED creatures totally work.

This is a bug with Noglins, sometimes it takes a 6th creature when it's not supposed to
the info, that you have to take "fresh" tamed creatures and not bred ones, the last piece of the puzzle i needed. thanks mate!

the cactus broth crap makes you virtually invisible to most creatures down here. the tentacle plants can still see you but that's all.
I have already confirmed through personal testing, trial and error (mainly before they made the change to Mantis that allowed you to tame them with Rhino Horns), that you cannot use Noglins to breed wild Dinos. When you set the two dinos to breed, it will say to remove rider to begin breeding. THis unfortunately means, Noglins are considered Riders when controlling Dinos and cant be used to breed wild dinos :/
Just imagine taking control of somebody’s Dino and just breeding them for no reason other than to confuse the fuck out of somebody

Tip for taming noglins. Bring a sixth sacrificial creature in case they get stuck at 100%. They normally don’t get stuck at 100% but bring one just in case.
Syn, the summoners instantly de agrro from you if you turn invisible on a shadowmane

Noglins spawn all down the rockwell tek trench, it's so much easier to to find them
noglins can be targetet by turrets thats why they jump on the enemys dinos and the turrets start shooting their own tames

Good noglin taming tip there are tons of them on the river outside Rockwell’s innards around where it got your giga they are way easier to tame there

I kinda wish you were able to normally tame the Summoners, it makes sense why you can't but I also feel like after you beat Rockwell Prime it unlocks something you use to tame them, maybe it'd be kinda how Fish Basket taming works.

I’ve only ever used voidwyrms to tame my noglins. It might be the level of the bred creatures but I have no idea. The only testing I’ve personally done was if you could use the same creatures on multiple noglins. TLDR; yes you can. The same creature can be controlled by different noglins immediately after the previous noglin hops off. Only caveat is if the creature’s health gets too low, it will be ignored by noglins
HOLY FUCKING GODSEND. bruh I've been up for 2 days of nonstop ark wondering why the hell the noglin would ONLY EVER target me... playing on a booster server so my turtles got insane health (making 10k a "low" number). I've watched pretty much EVERY video out there on noglins but no one mentioned the health AT ALL. I appreciate you more than you know 🙏🤣

Talking about the cave raiding, I've used a high level noglin on a suicide rex with a tek saddle and 30 element I ran into the base and destroyed their Gen after unclaiming the rex and suicide running with it. Noglins are crazy broken in that way

Plot Twist: the Noglin is actually just a creature, similar to Nibbler, being controlled by a Brain Slug.
I like this method. My only issue with it is that your using the soul ball gun. I don't see this working as well with normal cryopods. Otherwise awesome video Syntac!

Thank you for the tips on noglin taming I’ve been stumped on how to tame it been doing everything right until you said “they can’t be bred” and then I went “great...”
I'm interested in the cave applications, but I'm thinking about the possibility of breeding the ultra high level cave dinos, I didn't read about any restrictions that keep you from controlling cave creatures, and if you can control them you'd naturally be able to breed them
No as noglins are classed as riders so you'd have to remove the noglin to breed them. Thus, it isn't possible.
How are the Macrophage things dont hurt Syntac? Usually when i have a couple swarms aggro im dying almost instantly to them when i dont have Healing Pots with me

When I was taming my noglin it glitched and gave me 125% effectiveness
To me the 100% prob was showing 100 but it was at like 99.9 so you doing that last one made it up the last .1 percent to tame it fully only thing that makes sense to me!

They spawn above the cave on the 50 line in Rockwell as well. A snow owl is a alternative to a tek Helmut.
Found a lot of Noglins around the "Garden Trench"... you know.... where one killed you with your Giga. Might save you all the trouble with the innards.
there’s a small lake near the innards where i found a bunch of noglins. i believe syntac was there when his giga got controlled by one
Tips for Noglin:
F once will make it so that you are no longer the noglin, holding down f will kill the noglins host (whilst your in control) and continue the brain hunt.
another one i found i think it worked better is a snowy owl dachas also kinda work but the rest off them a a lileasier
unsure if this was an unpatched bug or intended feature, but letting the noglin mind control me after the first creature instead of pulling the second one out immediately gave me 125% taming effectiveness. make sure there's nothing in your hands, as you'll start attacking with whatever is equipped, including deploying cryo'd dinos prematurely. haven't seen any guide videos talk abou t this but it was a thing on release. idk if it still is tho

I was trying to use an army of bred voidwyrms to tame, and I think the original 2 I tamed were also there since they weren't a part of my new breeding pair.
I was getting so confused and tilted why some of my voidwyrms were doing 20% and some were doing like 2%. :| I'm just gonna tame a ton of brontos to save myself the headache.

Some RUclipsrs say that brontos tame noglings faster than other tames, but I'm not sure
I used breed voidwyrm and i had no problems taming them got full effectiveness on the noglin
Yea all three noglins I've tamed have been tamed only with bred creatures so idk what he's going on about

I find them all over rockwells garden and it was much easier to tame them outside instead of trying to deal with all the mayhem that is rockwells innards. Just run along the corrupted tek trench and you will find plenty.

Can you use a noglin to take over a noglin then use that noglin to take over a noglin and then use that noglin to take over a noglin and continue doing that until you have the ultimate noglin stack attack

@Syntac, Summer Bash DOES have special event colored creatures. If you aren't seeing them then you need to set the active event to get them to show up or DestoryAllWildDinos to force a respawn if you have enabled the event already. It's only automatic on Official Servers. It's manual otherwise.

Be careful trying to mind control a wild giga, they will aggro onto your noglin
You can use a skiff to pick up the notion which makes it a lot easier to move around and tame

@syntac if you can craft the tek pistol it is so OP and it’s good to grind the alpha ferox cull because you just float above the ferox and it OP take 7-9 minutes to complete
Turning invisible on a shadowmane makes the summoners deaggro. Doesn’t work on the rock drake unfortunately, not that it matters for this series.

If you on your own server good tip turn off friendly fire or whatever settings that used that ur tame that won't hurt u or u won't hurt ur tame while ur taming noglin so ur tame won't actually kill u by accident

Hey, Syn! Quick fact, press shift a couple of times with the Maewing and hold it and youll go incredibly fast for a decent amount of time. I think it might be a bug or it might be an actuall ability.

Srry i would'nt know since i have a Keyboard n Mouse connected to my Xbox, but I would assume the sprint button, but since PC has and always will be able to do so much more than Consoles it prob doesn't work.
