The Genesis Series is a Syntac Adventure in the New Genesis Part 2 DLC Map for Ark Survival Evolved. How did you get rid of cryosickness?
So when taming a Stryder, if you have the feet, and need to be on the ground for the hacking, you HAVE to walk with it, because during a hack you get a red ring around the stryder and if it walks far enough during the hack that you leave the ring, you fail. And for the resource vacuum, it pulls from your inventory if you harvest with a drill.
Easy peasy, Get ur best shotgun and anything predatory rushes at ya, feed em a Lead sandwich
Isn't the vacuum rig also the one that lets you dump resources into dedicated storage?

Only at short range, but if you link it to a particular box lets say metal, you can walk it to the other side of the map and any metal you collect with it will still teleport into that box, also anyone calling it overpowered insinuates that it should be removed and i highly disagree with that. Its about time something in ark was made easy.

So you could use the drill and all the metal going in the strider would go to your dedicated storage.
There's a red ring that you have to keep the stryder in while hacking. When you failed, it walked outside the red ring. You can walk or fly while hacking.
Hey syn, Velonasaur stalk is extremely easy because the devs forgot to consider that velonasaur needle damage is static and unaffected by melee damage for unridden velonasaurs. you only fight velonasaurs, dilos, and thorny dragons, and while their bite is strong enough to kill you in a few hits, theyre all small creatures so if you have any big dinos you can perch yourself up on a cliff and hit them below you. in my experience you can solo the alpha difficulty one with any range creature like a managarmr or a velonasaur, or otherwise any large creature that can "lean" over cliffs and get free hits off on them. the loot is great too, i find the mission often drops me really good shotguns as well as some tek saddles.

so which one should i use to try to do alpha? my tek rex with 2k damage and 8k health, my giga with 700 damage and 18k health, or my shadowmane with 1k damage and 11k health?
@@spacesheep_ the giga would probably get enraged because the thorny dragons hit real hard, but if you get lucky enough to have the enemies spawn near a ledge you can hit them from above with it. I would say the shadowmane is probably your best bet cause of the stun, or the rex if you dont feel like running to heal once or twice

When you complete the zomdodo mission part of Survive the ark, you go to the center with the teleport pad and use it to teleport everyone back out to complete the mission.
When game released THAT teleporting out would crash and bluescreen my game, just hoping now its safe
I died and it still completed after the first set of 10 ofcourse
I can confirm that doing this will crash your game 98% of the time, along with the whole server you’re playing on (on unofficial at least) I would recommend completing the mission at the minimum (10 waves) and purposely get yourself killed to exit the mission and get the rewards.
Kinda random but can we all just think about the fact that this whole Rockwell thing is the assistant Isabella’s fault because she told him to take a vacation, leading Rockwell to find the artifact, which then set him up to go down that bad path.

She didn't know about the artifact, and never intended for it to happen. Seems more like an unfortunate set of circumstances.

The styder has the ability to link to a specific dedi and will mine that one resource specifically and will send it back to your dedi no matter how far you are from the actual dedi unlinking the dedi will allow you to harvest all resources again also when close to dedis you can transfer inventory to close by dedis hope this is helpful to syntac or anyone that isnt sure how to use them
That rig setup on the strider is extreamly fun. If you link it to a dedicated storage box it will teleport the resource you have chosen back to the box. Downside is that as long as its linked, thats the only resource it will gather. But still, you can basicly infinitely gather that resource and not worry about weight.
There is a feature we’re you can link the Stryder to a dedicated storage and when harvest the resource with the Stryder it will teleport into the storage box no matter how far the stryder is from the box

The Resource Attractor Rig also grants 65% weight reduction for most materials and even tools, dyes, and more.

When riding the hover sails u can hold right click to help doing quick turns, maybe this will help you out if you ever repeat that mission
Syn, the excavator drill proabably is more efficent just because of how fast it works huge patches. And the attractor is still useful: the saddle bags give weight reduction on materials.

I think you need to enable wandering,take moschops for example,they collect items only when wandering so as other harvesting creatures.

You should be able to do Survive the Ark on your own, you get a lot more credits to buy things quicker on your own. Also go toward the middle platform in the mission and go to the red button thing, you should get a prompt to leave the mission

The fact it can link to a dedicated storage means that it DOES replace every harvester in the game. No reason walk an anky around with multiple runs when you can max a dedicated storage in a single trip from anywhere on the map (assuming you can find that much metal)
I think the resource extractor rig reduces the weight of all resources/items in the stryders inventory by 65% (i think) and the *'Enable harvested from nearby mining drills'* takes out the resources from a nearby players inventory if they harvest using a mining drill. I think all stryders, or just those with the excavation rig, can send the items they collect to dedicated storage
I think you should name your new Stryder; Metentis which is Latin for harvester. You should also take them to the space biome.
To end the survive the ark mission you have to do ten waves then go to the tek teleporter in the middle and hold your interact button then select the option to exit
From my testing, mutagel is the outlier on resources harvested by Striders. It and the mining drill are both less effective than an anky or magmasaur. The Tek Punch is the best harvesting tool for mutagel, though.

Stryders changed the way of mining in space, especially element shards attached to a dedi they are great!
@Syntac Place batteries in the Stryder inventry to charge, you can then use the batteries to recharge the Styder so you can collect longer.

Syntac the vacuum attachment picks resource nodes up off the ground like black pearls, silica pearls, and element dust. It also reduces carry weight of stuff.

the saddlebags reduce the weight of everything in its inventory by around 65%
and it can take from your personal mining drill its pretty useful
They work best with dedicated storage . Link to the metal one and it will auto send it at a long range. Or just walk close and drop all items at once into each dedicated box so nice
The vacuum/saddle bag attachment gives the stryder weight reduction and when turned on will pull from nearby personal mining lasers.
doing this while stryder is on follow in the space biome gets you a fat crash to desktop no crash report.
Oxygen is for the mining rig.
O2 is used when it's mining/harvesting.
Doesn't link to S+ dedicated storage. Use of the S+ inventory assistant and dedicated transfer tool does a pretty good job though. Can be picked up with the Skiff and Dino Storage, though putting it in a soul ball does cause it's head gear to get stuck in it's inventory, doesn't cause issues besides the lost slot however.
Didn't realise weight reduction was a thing for the resource attractor. Tamed my first stryder yesterday with excavation rig but it had the shield in 2nd slot so no weight reduction, going to have to go hunting again
by leveling melee damage you can significantly increase the amount of resources that are harvested and your stryder will gain levels from harvesting.
You should make sure to ger it near dedicated storage boxes and link a specific resource itll transfer it from anywhere on server directly as it mines it also picks up anything dropped by that resource node as well just use s+ inventory assistant to make it drop those and youll never be encumbered.
Try using a the pheromone trike (pachy something) and aggro it to you but then when it's far enough calm it down
For the stryder
11:00 give game time to count. Sometimes you have to auto fail a mission to get the others to count. They need to move out of the old hack point. Then you can hack again.
You can easilly farm element with your harvesting stryder. Just go to the space biom, when you can farm element, and you will have an endless supply of element
Dedicated resource creatures are still better overall imo but a low level Stryder is just easier to get. Get millions of wood with a mammoth, then just drop it and whip it, then tek suit back to base. Much faster and so much more *specific* resources that way.

Syntac just thought youd love to know about reapers and that the maewing can shove reaper babies into its pouches to stop them attacking and running around

12:35 Anky still usefull since Stryders have problems with some special resources. Anky gets more element from mining space biome (strider gets a lot of shards but actually not as many full element pieces). Same with mutagel rocks(striders almost doesnt grab mutagel somewhy) . Im sure there are other things as well. Striders are insane for main resources but thats about it( yeah , like just that part isnt completely op lol )

Take the stryder out element farming or black pearl farming in the space biome.
The excavator is great for the mining loads of mats except mutagel.
Also the resource/saddle bag rig is 60% weight reduction on all resources.
in multiplayer the harvesting stryder will be really good because you can have people on the ground mining as well
you can connect your strider to a dedicated storage and it will pull stuff out of the strider and in to the dedicated storage wireless

Syntac i dont know if you seen but instead of using the Stryder to upload your materials you can make it connected to a dedicated storage and it'll automatically pull from the Stryder
Now all you need to do is set up some dedicated storage, so you don't have to dump your Strider's inventory nearly as often
There is a red circle you have to keep around the Stryder. If it leaves, the hacking attempt will fail.
The oxygen bar is for the charge capacity.
You can link that particular one to dedicated storage.
The saddle bags with the gathering tool is just gathering god mode. The weight of the materials are reduced by 65% when you have a strider with the saddle bags.
Disabling the trail behind the tek skiff thingy would probably make it easier
Idea, keep that stryder near the entrance to the space biome, cuz idk if you could get it out onto a bridge, and then you could go out with your drill and then when you’re full just fly back towards the Stryder and have it take all of the resources you’ve collected, would definitely be more efficient if you can get it onto the bridge but just by the entrance works as well

Try the range on it and also try to go to space and put it aside and farm with the drill

Hey Syntac, I don’t know if you already knew this but after level 10 in the gauntlet mission, you go on until you die and if you die, you get rewards and hexagon and then it ends
or you can cancel it at the teleporter in the middle

Wild Dino’s will destroy your stryder pretty easily though especially flyers like owls
The Stryders with bags just collects stuff from Stryders with the drill. That's all (and ofc with the mining drill if you're using it).
But, in the radial menu you can see you can link the Stryder with the bags to a dedicated storage. It makes the Stryder gather only what you want.
It means you use a Stryder with a drill and have one with bags in follow. Maybe a dedicated storage on the skiff. You gather stuff with the drill, the Stryder with bags collects it and transfers it in the dedi storage.
People want the drill+bags combo on the same Stryder because of the dedicated storage.
On vanilla ark it's a good thing :)
Note: don't waste levels in DMG. It seems DMG doesn't make it gather more. Better giving levels into weight and battery charge.
For the survive the ark mission you can solo it with decent armor. Get a tek rifle and then a shadowmane pair and stay to the outside of the ring. I got to round six wave 8, but then I crashed.

the harvesting stryder is the best creature to get element and metal on the astroids. especially since leveling melee damage will Increase the harvesting amounts. you need a super high level syntac.

Leveling melee damage does increase harvesting efficiency and wouldn't you know it, harvesting on a stryder actually gives you more levels. It's almost like they did this on purpose huh. As if there will no longer be any current Tek items available in Ark 2. Hmmmm. I wonder?

an advise , tame a male and a female , breed them and get the good stats , an imprinted one , did the same amount of dmg as my super leveled one , and i dont have the game boosted ( singleplayer tho )

Did some testing on PC and people on it who can increase their difficulty level to Lvl.2 you won’t be able to tame Stryders up to 180.
There’s no other way to tame Stryders that are above 180 and did every single mission and redo them, to see if it goes up more and I can’t reach the prerequisite. HOWEVER there’s a slim chance you can get lucky enough it would require 17 less but to acquire to tame say ‘180’ they require between 18 - 20 and a stupid chance they require to do 25 missions in order to tame one.
Didn’t have any mods enabled and were done through vanilla.

The oxygen bar on the Stryder is actually indicating your charge level. Not sure why there isn't a different icon, but hey. It's Ark. lol
