A good name for the astrodelphis imo is melon because of their similarity to a beluga whale which has an echolocation organ called a "melon" (or some of that sort I don't remember exactly)

gigas get a 80% substraction on melee when tamed. so 240% melee after tame means it actually tamed out at 320% melee, then got knocked down by 80. A lvl 1 giga with 100% melee will end up with 20% after tame
I saw a 145 R-Giga a few days ago, I had an ascendant compound bow and shot a ton of tranqs into it... Then I realized there was an extra 0 on its torpor bar so I gave up. Sadly it despawned by time I came back/felt ready.
If I recall, it's been observed that R variants tend to have slightly less health but slightly more boom (regarding their melee, even between a regular and R variant with the same exact melee stat). That was what was seen right when Gen 2 released though, so not totally sure if that's changed or what. That could be why it has lower health than what you're used to though.
So I've heard you talk about giga rage, but I've never actually seen it happen before. You should breed some Gigas and make them rage against eachother 😂
I've found that the ult for the Shadowmanes is far more reliable if the target is directly in front of you, and very close. It seems to be less reliable with distance, especially with Ark's wonky hit boxes and fucky hit registration. As for the Astrodelphis, I know this isn't the video where you asked for name suggestions, but what about Wisp? They have those ghostly trails, so I think of ghosty names when I see them.
Maybe good names for a astrodelpthis - azur - Galactica ( based on a space ship) - Luna or lunar (based on space) - millenium ( based on a space ship and based on space - neptune ( based on a roman god of fresh waters) - astro - splash - Alignak, a lunar deity and god of weather, water, tides, eclipses, and earthquakes
I’m honestly surprised some people have the patience to play this game for more then 10 hours without dying instantly from 15 different illnesses the game gave them.
If you like names from Game of Thrones, you could name this giga 'Sandor' after The Hound, or 'Gregor' after The Mountain. I'd probably pick Gregor tbh, or you could just name it Clegane, after their family/house.
pachy primary attack is the only thing that could theoretically beat a gigas torpor regen but would kill it before overcoming it. for example a giga will regen a club faster than it can knock it down.

Imprinting will do wonders for the Gigas HP, and pretty much everything else. It wouldn't be bad idea to tame the 120 if only just to get breeding.
I liked the coloring of the 120 as well honestly. I figured he'd tame it for breeding though.

I got myself a giga pair second day of gen 2. They're so OP, we already have 5 melee mutations. Base melee is 1340%. (difficulty 10 unofficial PvE)

Creatures dont aggro on wild gigas and their stats always go down after taming. Hopefully this helps for future taming
