  • A 8-year-old girl is sharing her heartbreaking story about the Wisconsin school shooting. "I heard the announcement saying this is not a drill, this is a real lockdown," says Nora Gottschalk. "A lot of people were hiding under the table and then people were hiding in the corridor of the library." Meanwhile, police raided the house of the 15-year-old shooter's father. She was identified as Natalie Rupnow, who went by Samantha. Inside Edition's Alison Hall has more.

Just because that is not how you live, don’t assume there is something wrong with the way others live. Teaching teenagers how to safely handle firearms saves lives. If children live around firearms, education on the danger and safety is of the utmost importance! THIS specific teenager had mental health issues that were not being addressed. I don’t know why people have to pick on people in the first place I mean she’s hugging that dog. She would definitely be the person that I would want to be friends with you know because she seems like an animal lover in my view, And she seems very, very, very happy in that photo with that dog. It seemed like she did have a life where she was happy and she felt no emotion of killing or whatever.
But no doubt that dog was probably there for her when she was sad. I bet you that dog came over to her and just comforted her and her darkest times and that’s probably what prevented her from acting and doing what she did much much much sooner, And I understand that you haven’t learned to handle and regulate your thoughts in your feelings
I am still struggling with that myself and I am 32 years old and if I saw anybody getting treated badly for a stupid reason, I probably would struggle very, very, very bad. I would probably regulate my emotions, but I would find it very very, very hard to walk away From that trust me, I hate bullies. I hate when people feel that they need to treat somebody badly over something so stupid and so unnecessary.
I mean, some people get bullied over clothing over different types of clothing styles that they wear some people get bullied over their glasses or the way they dye their hair. You know some people whether it’s one person or four people will find something that they don’t like about somebody and then sometimes it gets so bad that the person goes home with bruises and bumps on their body.

That's what happens and that's why bullying needs to be stopped in schools because it's just going to relapse and relapse and to everyone else that gets affected by bullying because if she was bullied by a bully then who knows if the bully was bullied him/herself. It's an ongoing pattern and it's not healthy.

get involved in your child’s life, be invasive, it’s your right as a parent to see what they up to. This tragedy could’ve been prevented, and yet nothing is done. The cycle repeats itself sadly.

It's easy to say, "Just get stricter gun control!", but the real solution is to hold the parents accountable. There have been countless cases where mentally ill kids get access to firearms because of their parent's choices or irresponsibility. Take for example the Oxford High shooting, Ethan Crumbley was given a gun for his birthday by his parents despite his parents knowing he was not mentally well. Gun control won't do very much to help this issue.

Here's a few things to keep in mind.
It would do as well of protecting as the UK's knife laws or fist laws do. She also stole the gun, so nothing that could really be done about that except hiding it better. Lastly, you saw just last week that the CEO shooter used a 3D printed gun, not a gun stolen/purchased.
