I mostly use that keypad for photoshop hotkeys, honestly its a lot more convenient especially with the joystick, I can freely move the canvas without touching the mouse.
I bought one of these. I never end up using it. It feels really touchy, and I accidentally click the buttons. Also, the looseness never goes away long term. I can tighten it, but it loosens again. You can definitely tell the entire thing was 3D printed, and that makes the price feel really steep. I like the stick, but I found the rest hard to use. Maybe if I kept using it and my hands adjusted, but I'm no violin player. My left hand is not graceful.
I reckon this keyboard is meant to be used with a keymapping software, to make key "chords" instead of mapping actions to individual buttons. out of just 5 buttons you can get a lot of combinations, each of which can control an action on your computer.
6:26 Man I can't stop laughing 😂😂😂😂. The player who got shoot first was clueless about what was happening and kept moving. But you on the other hand made a 1% Y Axis + and got shoot which was even funnier 😂😂😂.
I got the Azeron Cyborg and I LOVE IT! It takes about 2 weeks to really adjust but if you set the main keys to WASD instead of using the thumb stick for movement, you adjust a lot faster. It’s super comfortable and you can set up a profile for each game so you don’t have to remap your actual controls. I would really love to see you use this more and give it a full test!
Do you play league of legends or dota? İf you play, I have a question. Can you control your character both big joistick and mouse? For ex, while you are attacking with mouse click, can you arrange position of character with big joistick. I really wonder to much.
I love mine! I use it for FF14 and Battlefield 2042 showing its versatility across genres of games. Any new game I pick up I use this and for my tiny hands its great! Definitely a learning curve to it, which is why when I was playing WoW I couldn't swap to it because of the muscle memory, but as I said any new game I pick up I use that instead of my keyboard and my tiny pinkie is grateful not having to try and hit shift over and over. I don't have the version shown in the video, I have the compact version instead. A tip if you get one is to set up your key binds in the software and then swapping between games change the key binds in the game to match your already mapped key binds. This will help with continuity between games and make it so you don't have to do as much fiddling.
I've gotta ask do you use a 12-button mouse with this thing? Because I effectively get 22 keys on my little Atreus and not having that number row already makes mapping everything real tough.
@@colbyboucher6391 Yes I have a 12 button mouse, the corsair scimitar. I don't know if you do this but I map shift, ctrl and alt to the ring finger trio of buttons on the azeron so I can hold them so my other buttons also do more just like a keyboard

It is possible to type with this, since it has 22 keys, you can use the stenograph method, however, that's a whole new level for typical typist to adapt to..
Stenography also needs N-key rollover (though I've heard steno people be pretty excited about how Gaming has made NKRO a mainstream feature, so maybe it already is...)
I have to say this is one of the best gaming peripherals I have ever used. Once you get used to it, its really hard to go back to using a traditional keyboard to game with. They have a new version out called the cyborg that has a combination of the compact version and the original and its AMAZING as well.
Love your content! Also, It strikes me as something made for MOBAs and MMORPGs, because of all the spells and abilities you have to use. Your split keyboard vid for 30 days video was really informative, and I feel that something this unusual deserves similar treatment. In any case, it'll be fun!
What are you supposed to say if you try to travel with the keyboard? “Oh it’s just a Latvian bionic gauntlet that may or may not wipe out half of earths population”
Betty is the most hilarious youtuber I have ever watched. Seriously I died from laughing! Her "silent screams" and strong meme game is just chef's kiss.
I love my Azeron Cyborg. Had it a couple months now. You want to blow your brain, try doing a reverse grid key layout where you put the left most grid key on your left index finger and go left on the keypad from there so that you're stronger fingers hit the more commonly used keys, with the screen grid going left to right, but your hand grid going right to left. After several weeks I think I'm finally starting to get a handle on it. Overall I love the cyborg and it is a worthy successor to my Logitech G13 that has been out of production for some time now. I especially love how much you can do with the thumb: joystick for movement, then five more assignable buttons on the hat. Oh, and getting Rewasd is a must. The Azeron software is good, but Rewasd takes it to the next level with assigning different keys to holds, double, and triple clicks.

a very old keyboard I saw once was similar to this device in that you slide your fingers into slots and there are buttons to press when you move your finger down, extend your finger or curl your finger (ever so slightly to trigger the press). This keybaord I am referring to looked a lot like a wavy ergo keyboard (the kind that convex in the center to force your wrists to splay more naturally) EXCEPT here were just 8 holes and a space/ctrl/alt keys . You put your finger into the holes and type a U by extending your index finger upward. Type a Y by extending upward and to the side, press H by moving your index finger leftward. By the time I discovered its existence it seemed the product was not available anywhere I looked but I've always wanted to try it out for typing. I am about 120-130wpm now but without the travel distance I am guessing I could get to 150 or more. My challenge now, is that I never use the left shift to type, and I always slam that backspace, and when I'm typing content I am constantly using the up/down/left/right and the home/end/PgUp/PgDown keys to navigate. I also imagine it would be difficult to copy/paste with shortcut keys.

Some vendors still prefer mini usb for its greater physical robustness over thinner connectors such as USB C and micro USB
