Some of us are housebound due to age, infirmity, or disability. These videos allow us all to live in the moment. Thank you all so very, very much. Merry Christmas everybody.
You make a good point. Although these three suggestions are more aimed at helping other modellers, Everard Junction, Chadwick Model Railway and Dean Park publish videos on RUclips and usually include running sessions.
Very well done to all of you that built this amazing layout, unbelievably, I live in Milton Keynes and I can recognise so many features that you put on display, I watched all the building videos, and to see the finished job is a brilliant credit to you all A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
To Peter and his Team. Well done again for this amazing HO layout. To all your staff and yourself a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. All the best for 2024. Mike HO from Australia
Absolutely ruddy marvellous, the looks on those kids, (and adults), faces as they drive the trains round is priceless. What you guys are doing for the hobby is nothing short of brilliant. A very Merry Christmas to all involved. 😊👍 🚂🎄
Well done once again a great video. Everybody enjoying it young and old which can only be good for the hobby. Trust you all have a good Christmas and look forward to the next stage in building for April at NEC

Really enjoyed attending the event and seeing the layout, had a good chat with the camera man about having a photographers evening so we can use tripods and getting great pictures
Making memories, that one day some of these young faces will recall as fondly as the ones that got us all into this superb hobby, on our first model railway exhibition visit, etc. PS Pete and his answer to ‘what’s that…?’ A bird! Great banter, great viewing! Happy Christmas 🎅
To PETE and ALL THE CREW, a BIG THANK YOU for all your time spent, getting the Layout ready, a MERRY XMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all. I wish I could be there.
I love seeing that Blue Pullman HST go past. Somewhere buried in a box I've still got my Dad's old Triang Pullman, which I think it's from the mid-1960s. I haven't tried it out in a loooong time, but it was always a reliable runner when I was a kid.
Great video Dave this layout is awesome and draws in the crowds. The Christmas theme makes it special for the kids of all ages.😮 My wife and I are immortalised at 9.15.....on the over head cam shot.😀😀 I will be sorry to see it go..Well done Pete and the Railnuts and all involved and hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024..
What a fantastic set up, I have seen Making Tracks 2 at GETS last year perhaps a national tour in the future, it would be awesome to see it in the west country thank you for sharing
well done guys if there is going to be hobby, the kids are the future , not a load of moaning ing grey hairs like me , it is up to us guys and girls !! Pete and his friends are a shining exmaple of this. Inspiration is the key! My best Christmas was in 1969 when my dad brought me a 2nd hand Hornby class 8 in black togerher with an Oval of track , two caoches in rubarb and custard and then wagins to gether with a station halt. All from a collegue at work . He put the track on a base board a that is what created me on christmas day . Hooked from there on .
Your attitude is boring to be honest. In fact its outright disrespectful. Pete and the railnuts team could make the most detailed, accurate model railway in existence. They have the talent and pete has the financial resource to do so. But what you cannot fathom is - this isn’t about that. It’s about being accurate whilst not being elitist. The likes of you, criticising and having your attitude are exactly what Pete doesn’t like. In fact, I hope he sees your comment and it makes him giggle for annoying an elitist irked. The kids are having fun and so are the families. Take your attitude elsewhere!

If I remember rightly, the location of the Milton Keynes layout is in Cheshire.
It's in Blakemere, which is just off the A556 which you can get to via the M6 motorway
Fantastic when is this show running to dates please 👍👍👍
Up to 7th January
Is this now Britains biggest model railway?
This very boring layout only going long circles
I think you've missed the point entirely!
