    I am a carpenter and experienced railway modeller and must say that your video should be released as a training video. The multiple skills that you demonstrate are beyond text book standard. Also, your work area was always clean and tidy. Congratulations and well done on a superb piece of work.

    What should I even say? The amount of skill, knowledge, time, dedication, motivation, etc... it's enviable. The amount of craftsmanship that would have went into this is truly out standing, let alone the cost! Truly a project worthy of respect; especially for no goal other than passion. I and many, many others wish we had the capability to dedicate so much time to fulfilling, hard-working projects as you are.
    Congratulations, and keep doing what you love!

    Amazing vision. Forty years ago my uncle built a three level layout. Keep in mind it was analog yet he was able to run four trains simultaneously. Sadly he was never able to landscape it before life caught up to him. I was able to purchase 80% of his engines and rolling stock. I do not have photos of the layout but watching your endeavor unfold it brings back memories. Looking forward to how you landscape!

    I'm also 78 years young and helped build section C220 of the Taiwan High Speed Railway back in 2000 - 2004. I was the Senior Inspector of Works for the 16 klm of Right of Way, 11 tunnels were constructed, plus an elevated section across the flood plain of Hsin Chu. The viaducts were installed as concrete sections by way of DSM & ASM methods to form the twin track running lines and 4 track station of Hsin Chu. The tunnels in the foothill section had earthworks, bridges between each one, this all in a earthquake zone, I have experienced a few and their very wobbly. especially as I lived on the 14th floor.
    Great model, but I bet the wife has a hell of a job getting to put up a clothes hook. Loved the detail you put in with grass etc. Well done and thanks for posting.

    Wow. The volume of top tier talents, skills, training, and expertise that are absolutely required before one could even dream up such a project is definitely worthy of consideration as pointed out by a post below talking about the resume and job interview demonstration.
    Lots of visibly demonstrated and externalizable "strengths" here like, start to finish vision, planning and conceptualizing, building a plan to methodically build such a project, recognition and management of a web of complex and interactively required elements and systems for which each of them required their own plans, the patience and attention to detail in the execution of the plan, quality controls to prevent errors from being realized too far into the construction to fix or correct, the ability and skills to do the video capture and media content creation
    There was a time in the US maybe 20ish years ago where the big deal in education was project oriented demonstrations for student's "portfolios. I'd say that this project in its totality is a near perfect portrayal of the goal of that movement. It even includes the hobbies. What do you do for fun? Model Trains..
    This is pretty much astounding.

I'm in Canada so large layouts tend to have long mainlines which look great for long freight consists but then the scenery is mostly vegetation and the square footage is big. But I couldn’t finish this plan. 5 Years ag I stopped working and had a new bigger plan because I had more time. But it was not possible to finish that too. My age is 63 and I am jealous at your trains! My plan was smaller but with two leavels. I am amazing how you have finished this construction. I had Fleischmann H0. I was 6/7years old when my dad started with making trains in the weekend.

    Hut ab, besser kann man es nicht machen! Finde es klasse wie akurat und ordentlich Du alles bearbeitest. Genial finde ich auch den Hintergrund mit runder Ecke, sieht sehr gelungen aus. Wenn der Rest der Anlage genauso nice wird wie bisher, kann man sich auf die nächsten Jahre nur freuen! Für mich zur Zeit die beste Anlage im Bau auf YT. ✌

      ... dann hast du aber noch nicht viele Videos zu diesem Thema gesehen. Vom Detail her ist die Anlage schon Mega aber sie ist auch sehr klein. Es gibt Videos von ganzen Kellerausbauten bis hin zur 300+ qm Hallen die voll bebaut sind 😉😉😉

    • @nachtelb
      @nachtelb 5 месяцев назад

      @@levelonegamingacademy9524 Größe allein bedeutet nicht unbedingt große Qualität. Und ich finde eine Heim-Anlage sollte man nicht mit einer Hallen-Anlage vergleichen. Eine Heim-Anlage mit über 6qm würde ich auch nicht als sehr klein bezeichnen. Und ich habe schon viele Bau-Videos gesehen und kann trotzdem sicher sagen, dass eben nur wenige so akurat arbeiten wie man das hier sieht.

    Great job but I am now very discouraged! As somone who grew up in Germany and who loves German trains, I've always wanted a German cantinary HO layout roughly twice as large as yours with long straight runs and large radius turns. A couple Bahnhöfe and a Locschuppen. I was hoping that in two years of 10 hours a week in possibly three I could build such a layout start to finish with all the scenery. I can tell a project such as mine will take at least 10 years. 🥺

    • @Freestylemoba
      @Freestylemoba  5 месяцев назад +8

      You must not overdo it and only take on individual sections at a time. Then a layout will develop almost by itself ;] You have to enjoy youre build and not to rush it! Greetings!

    • @martinbatistelli
      @martinbatistelli 5 месяцев назад +4

      Don't be discouraged. You can get a lot done in 2 yes with 10 hrs a week. Aim for a lesser level of detail and completion for phase 1 and then make improvements and fill in details. Some people are never "finished".

      Maybe try building a smaller layout first with the intentions of being able to incorporate it into your planned larger layout. If it's your first layout the experience and skill you'll acquire will help in completing a larger build. I'm currently on my 3rd Ho scale permanent layout and spent a few years on a "temporary" N scale floor layout using Kato Unitrack. My dream build is still years away. I'm sure some of the skills you acquired from RC model building will help. Best of luck.

    16 Years ago My son's and I built a 3 level layout, ran 5 trains, had mountains, river, lake, tunnels, even had a military base, tons of buildings, roads, cars, trucks, people Etc...Was very therapeutic, I miss it a lot. We moved had to take it down a few years ago. Gave everything to a neighbor kid who was into train's.

      @@Freestylemoba Truly mate, I mean it. I saw a comment on here that was critical of what you’ve achieved and I thought “what a nasty prat to post such a comment.” It’s your layout, it’s your choice how you model it and in my opinion, you have done this amazingly well. I am about to start my own project which I hope will be a similar size and complexity to yours. I doubt it’ll be of similar quality to yours but you know what, I don’t care because it’ll be mine! I congratulate you again on the excellence of your work.
